We ordered a pizza. But of course when we walked in the tall blonde. Made sure she said. In a not so nice tone. We only serve pizza now. Is that okay. But of course we came here for pizza. 10" pie we ordered with pepperoni and green peppers. It was okay. Nothing for me to be wowed about. Just your ordinary pie. This place is a hard pass people. In an otherwise island devoid of good food, this place is beyond bad. Please avoid as the food here is beyond poor. The frozen oven style pizza at Foodlands is Michelin star resto compared to this hovel. I feel for these guys as they have been around for 60 years per the hostess. I am not sure how this pizzeria is still open. I had the most disgusting and expensive Pizza in my life there. Before ordering the Pizza, I asked how big the Pizza size was and they told me it's a 10" pizza that is sufficient for 2 person. I ordered the pizza to go and waited for almost 20 minutes. Of course they charged me upfront in case I complain. Once the pizza came, it was not even a 7" pizza and completely dry and burnt. I asked the barman, is that your 10" pizza and he told me yes what do you expect? I told him you guys should be ashamed of this kind of practice and ribbing off people/tourists like that and left the place. My advice specially to tourists, avoid this place. Can't say I was expecting much, but boy was I wrong. Delicious Hawaiian style pizza. Most pineapple and ham pizzas overdo it on the sauce. Not this place. By far the worst service I have ever had in my three visits to this island. Ordered an ahi sandwich with no bun (gluten free) its suppose to come with a salad and rice... there was a bun, no salad, no rice and about 7 fries. When we asked our waiter who was drenched in sweat, he did bring more fries and salad but said because he gave us a little more salad than what was usual, he decided that we didnt need rice. We also ordered a pizza. For $2.50 per topping, i would assume you could see the toppings. Unfortunately i assumed wrong. We also waited and hour and a half (no exaggeration) for this pizza. We stopped by several times for drinks and music while vacationing in Hanalei. The live music both nights we stopped in was really good. If there had been a better spot for us to hang out, we would have stayed longer and enjoy more drinks while listening to the music. However, there really is no great spot to grab a drink at the bar (if there are no seats) without being in the way of the wait staff or other patrons. The drinks were pretty good but only after quite a wait to get the attention of the bartender. One night we did try the pizza, opting for Hawaiian and Bbq chicken. They were both good but not worth trying again or highly recommending to other visitors. My preference would be to enjoy a drink and music before / after dinner at another location. read more

The pizza place is in back of the Tahiti Nui, but you can order and eat in either location. We recommend dining out on the lanai of Tahiti Nui, especially if they have live music going on that night We had the pesto specialty and it was awesome! read more

The Tiki Man Pizza located inside the Tahiti Nui restaurant and from what I can tell they don't have a phone number. The pizza tastes very basic with a thin non-memorable crust. Lots of creative topping offerings. Pretty quick from order to ready. read more

As far as I could tell, this place is really just the pizza menu for Tahiti Nui. We followed the signs for Tiki Man Pizza and entered the restaurant from the back, but ended up walking through to the front of Tahiti Nui and sitting on the porch. That's fine, just initially a little confusing. Order a cocktail because the pizzas take about 35 minutes. I highly recommend the coconut margarita. Also, they advertise "the best mai tai in town" and I wouldn't disagree. We had the Hawaiian Pizza for $23 and it was pretty good. Overall, a nice dining experience with a lovely view. Our waiter was covered in sweat and we presumed it was from running around catering to people's requests. People feel very strongly about pizza, and reviews are usually love it or hate it. Someone left a post-it note at the house we rented saying "BEST PIZZA! REALLY, GET THIS." We trusted them and were not disappointed. The crust was thin (I prefer that), sauce is good and not applied too heavily, cheese was yummy and tasted like parmesan was mixed in. At first I was taken aback to pay $44 for 2 pizzas, but then I did the math on eating out or grocery shopping to feed 9 people and it turned out to be a bargain. I was sad we never went back during our visit. You can even order here and eat it at Tahiti Nui! I don't write many reviews here but I wanted to point out this little place. I would have given it 5 stars because the food and drinks were out of this world. The service is not the fastest and not in any hurry to get to you. We first arrived and not quite sure where to sit so we got seated near the stage by the window which was kind of fun definitely felt like I was in a tiki hut. We sat there for about 5 min before they even brought us menus. Then is was about another 10 mins before they came to take our order. Finally we got ordered and the drinks did show up right away and the mai tais are amazing. The food came out and we had the pizza and I was blown away at the flavor. After we were finished we kept waiting on a check which finally showed up and we were going to run a credit card but our server never came to collect. We finally decided to give cash and had to find our server to get out. Food is amazing if you have time to wait. read more
