Excellent Indian Restaurant, right on Colorado Blvd located in the midst of many Mediterranean and Middle Eastern restaurants, parking is tight but manageable. Been here a couple of times in the past and always enjoyed the meal and experience. For some reason, I thought I left a review prior to tonite but it could not be found. We enjoyed three types of curries, two veggie and one Chicken Masala, two types of naan including garlic naan, samosa, rice and rice pudding. We ordered number four hot and it was perfect for us. The taste spectrum was totally right on across the board, rich and flavorful, [[HIGHLIGHT]]the dinner was quiet, only three other tables occupied and the service was impeccable![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We all know there are a lot of Indian restaurants in the Front Range, Unique is one that has satisfied the times we've gone there. Very positive experience.

We've been here twice now, and I've been very happy with our experience both times! It looks inconspicuous from the outside; it's in a little strip mall with a tough, tight parking lot right off Colorado Blvd. Don't let this deter you, just find a spot and head in! [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's got a nice little dining area, and we've never had to wait to be seated.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service staff is very friendly, and you can tell they're passionate about their food and will make sure you're happy with your meal. Personally, I've only had good things to say! This time around, we got the veggie samosas to start. To be fair, I've never had a samosa before to compare it to, but I enjoyed them! I have however had plenty of lamb dishes, and this lamb curry was great. Absolutely something I would return for, especially if I was in a pinch and wanted good food relatively quickly. The garlic and cheese naan was the delicious cherry on top of the lamb curry sundae. Our second trip here will not be our last! Intestinal Impact Index Rating: 5/5 it's curry, you know what you're doing when you get it. Don't kid yourself. But you also know it's ENTIRELY worth it.

One of the best meals we've had in Denver. This is a must-try, and the menu is perfect for people who are new to the cuisine. We can't believe the line wasn't out the door. Service was extremely friendly and helpful with recommendations, and [[HIGHLIGHT]]the restaurant itself is spotless and comfortable.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We tried the Chicken Korma and Tandoori, both wonderful. We also had naan and a hot chai, which we could not stop drinking. We'll certainly be back!!

We had a great experience at Unique Indian Cuisine. The food was so yummy and flavorful. While the menu felt sparse, it had all the major needs and was reasonably priced. The cheesy naan was also delicious, and I took some home for the next day and was even better slightly warmed up! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The whole restaurant smelled like the wonderful food too.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The waiter didn't come check on us much, but he was always around which was nice to see. My only complaint about the place was the parking- it's very tight and we were almost blocked in our truck by other large cars surrounding us. All in all, we had a good time though.

Saag Paneer awesome. Chicken Tikka Masala awesome. Butter Chicken superb

I love it when Yelp comes through for me. It doesn't happen as often as I think it should, as we all have different tastes and preferences, but this was by far the best food experience I had during my short stay in Denver as it exceeded expectations and all the great reviews. Probably the best Saag Paneer I have ever had to date. The best Indian cuisine I've ever had was in England, about 15 years ago. I love Indian food and I thought I knew how to judge what was good or not, but after experiencing the Indian cuisine in England - wow - I realized that I didn't know jack squat when it came to really good Indian cuisine. So since that trip I have compared all of my Indian food experiences to that trip, and this place has come the closest to matching their quality and taste. I read the reviews - everyone loves the Saag Paneer, Tikka Masala, and the Butter Chicken too. I arrived there and was the first customer to be served. Very clean and unassuming place. Sat at the bar and had a nice conversation with Resham. He confirmed those 3 dishes are just a few of the great dishes there. I started with the Saag Paneer, then thought why not get the Chicken Tikka along w/ some Garlic Naan. I mean I can take leftovers back to the hotel with me. Medium Spicy (3 out of 5). Well the Saag came out and - wow - I noticed how green and colorful and clear the dish looked. The taste? Phenomenal! I can't explain it - but it was the best Saag Paneer I've ever had. Just tasted so clean and fresh, didn't have that strong overpowering spinach flavor that usually takes over, it was just really smooth and creamy. The Chicken Tikka was superb! I will tell you that medium spicy is hot enough for those who have somewhat of a tolerance level for spices. Loved the Garlic Naan too! I knew I would be leaving here tomorrow, so why the hell not and order the Butter Chicken? I mean - the first 2 dishes here were so darn good that tells me the Butter Chicken will also be great, and I need to try it. When a place has really good stuff, it incentivizes me to spend more there because I know it will be great. And sure enough - the Butter Chicken was also superb. I did get spicy level 4 out of 5 and that is quite hot I tell ya, but hell I didn't care. I had plenty of leftovers to take home with me as I sampled a few bites of each dish. The service here was impeccable. Very friendly, courteous, and professional, Resham was a class act and very helpful. The quality of the food here was phenomenal. They were bursting with flavor and spices. It really lived up to all of the hype and expectations, some of the best Nepalese Cuisine I've ever had - and nothing in Austin comes close. You guys are so lucky in the Mile High State! I hope to be back again very soon, and this will be my first stop.

    Butter Chicken was excellent!

    Onion Rings
    Rebecca S.

Another great experience! It took us way too long to come back but we enjoyed it so much. Tonight we got onion rings, butter chicken level 1 for our toddler, lamb vindaloo level 4, tandoori shrimp level 3 and garlic naan. The service was on top of it too. The level 4 was definitely extra spicy but helped our congestion! Ha! We will stick to level 3 next time. The tandoori shrimp was exceptional and a must! It was so flavorful and perfectly cooked. We will try something else next time to replace the onion rings, those were ok. Still one of our top Indian spots! I just wish it was closer to our home.

We came on a Thursday night around 7p, the dining room was empty - crazy. Araz took care of us and he must have refilled the water 5 times he was so top of everything! I could eat the dips plain. We also got the chaat samosas. Incredible! And they cut them to make it easier to share. I had the lamb Korma. Incredible. Just the perfect blend of spices, creaminess. Our servers name was Sharmila and she was very attentive and informed of the menu. She was very kind to have endured my rowdy family and we tipped her graciously for her trouble. My brother and I arrived fashionably early while the others arrived just early. Being fashionable is a recessive gene and we can't all be winners or else there'd be no losers and what fun would that be? They started the table with these neat little fake tortilla chips. It came with 3 sauces for dipping a sweet, tangy/minty and a spicy one. The spicy one is important to try because that's about the level of spice of their hottest dishes. For apps we got the cauliflower, the texture was nice and fluffy, the flavor was tangy without being too aggressive. An app is supposed to ease you in! SOMEPLACES HAVE THE AUDACITY TO CREATE APPETIZERS THAT SUCK YOUR SOUL OUT! Sorry for raising my voice... ahem... this place is thankfully not one of them. We also got the cucumber salad which was really good but it's cucumbers, you love em or you hate em. Moving on. Next was the onion rings. In my head they were gonna be like Indian onion rings but they were just like normal rings but ig since they had Indian dipping sauces that counts? They get by on a technicality. I DONT MAKE THE RULES AND IM TIRED OF YOU GETTING MAD AT ME FOR THEM! Excuse me I'm not sure where that came from... Ok "few" that was a lot! For me main entree I got me some baryani with chx. Sorry for yelling, your tone is just bothering me. Anyway my food was good. I could hardly finish it and I don't want to hear it. THE PORTIONS WERE SO BIG FOR THE PRICE! HOW WAS I SUPPOSED TO KNOW?!?! Ok signing off, I can't with your attitude and I take back my apology from earlier. Had really high hopes for both and they fell very flat. For the high price, portions were also a bit sad. The lamb was overcooked to the point of severe dryness and the fish was also overcooked, resulting in an almost rubbery texture. What a privilege!!…read more By using the coupon I got when I placed a delivery order for a few items only a week or so ago, my daughter and I got us... -Papadam -Daal Tadka -Steamed Chicken Momo (The code on the coupon discounted our total for 15%; dine-in rate is/was 10%) This was an online order for a pickup so we actually got to go to the store to pick it up. I have been inside it once before but I really didn't remember any of the interior. It's quite roomy with mostly red color. It's pretty clean as well. All the way to the south of the building is where the bar is located. Quite the ambiance for sure. The man behind the counter was very pleasant to me. He was still packing our food so he said it'd be a few minutes. No worries; I wasn't in a hurry or anything!! Once food was meticulously put in a large brown bag, he politely handed it to me with a very meaningful "Thank you!" What a nice gesture that was. The great smell of the food was emitting from the bag; the hearty smell filled the entire car where all we could think of was devouring the food. Once home, we immediately proceeded to the mother/daughter mealtime. -Steamed Chicken Momo: By far the best momo we have ever eaten. Amazing dish with no flaws. We almost fainted as we ate it (ha ha!!) I know this is a bit of an exaggeration but it was that good. -Daal Tadka (mild): I am a big fan of lentil based dishes and this (along with the other lentil based one named Daal Makhani on the menu) is a delightful non-meat option. Daal Makhani does have a noticeable amount of oil used in the dish but this yellow lentil dish is lighter in the oil content. This also mesmerized our palates where we became mute as we took each bite to savor it. Simply amazing. -Papadam: Indian version of tortilla chips is the best way to describe it. They are so light; these are guilty-free side dish to munch on with a sauces of your choice. -Rice Pudding: This was a shocking find. The chef's compliment or whatever it was, the restaurant kindly included this in our bag free of charge. What a nice gesture to appreciate us the customers!! Thank you,Chutney for this kind and lovely gift. 10 out of 10 takeout experience to say the least!

Because of these issues, along with some dirty dishes and glasses, I would not recommend the lunch buffet or plan to return, despite enjoying the flavors and service.

The Thali caught my eye as it's essentially a traditional platter with a variety of balanced small plates from rice to potatoes to dal soup and even dessert all on a single tray. I got it with Butter Chicken which was so good! Highly recommend as it was creamy, medium spicy, and very aromatic. I absolutely loved the street-style chaat! It's creamy, crunchy, cold, and loaded with flavors and textures. Such a satisfying bite and I almost couldn't stop until it was gone. I love that this Thali came with both rice & naan as I usually want both and can't decide lol! The rice was fluffy and aromatic from the cumin while the garlic naan was fresh, soft, and delicately brushed with garlic & parsley. I didn't care for the dal soup (bit too watery) or the jeera potatoes (bit undercooked) but the dessert was a nice way to end the meal. Their options included rice pudding and gulab jamun; I went with the "healthier" option lol. It was creamy, sweet, and cooled down my palate after the various dishes. The Lamb Biryani was another good try! The lamb chunks were tender and seasoned, the rice was aromatic, and it paired well with the onions and raita (yogurt sauce). This definitely satisfied my craving and I'm glad I stopped by before the long day I had ahead!
