Had them mount a new tire on the rear of My motorcycle. Everything seemed fine. Went for a ride with the lady on the back. Heading north went to turn down to Idaville, and the tire suddenly deflated in the turn. Take it back to tillamook tire and was told it was good to go. Well it isn't. Tire list 6psi overnight and is leaking at the bead. Also My factory aluminum mag is now scratched and gouge after there second attempt of doing the job right. So after them damaging My rim and new tire, I was told nothing they can do and put an inner tube in it. Beware. read more

Absolutely incredible!! My friend and I we're three hours away from home and blew a tire so we stopped here after we put the donut on the car. They weren't open but we went across the street to Napa and got the owners number. The owner came in on a Sunday and graciously helped two ladies get back on the road. i visited these guys a couple weeks ago; Amazing experience! i was truly blessed to even make to them with my tire. when i got there the 2 new tires i was going to originally buy were to thin for my truck once i got there and seen them. but the guys/ and girl there made sure i was good! i got used tires (which im ok with because they are certified safe to use). a full matching set of 4 and then one of my only 2 good tires mounted on my spare rim so now i have a full matching set and a good spare in case anything happens again in the future i dont have to worry and stress over having a totally crappy spare i thought for sure was gonna get me killed! :) thank you! im a new forever loyal customer! read more

These folks are the best, and Crystal (the mechanic that helped us) is fantastic! I live part time in Pacific City (about 30 minutes from Tillamook) and part time in Seattle. On my last trip down I got a flat the night before I had to head back home. I chose Tillamook Tire based on the two enthusiastic reviews here. So glad I did. The tire was a gonner, and had to be replaced. They found a used (virtually new) tire for me, had the tire on my SUV and me back on the road in almost no time! Total cost: $40, if you can believe it. Don't be put off by the somewhat sketchy "old school" looks of the place. It is wonderfully authentic and the people are all upbeat and so nice. I've never seen anyone change a tire as fast as Crystal did. And she did it with a huge smile on her face and fantastic attitude. I left with a huge smile on my face, having expected a much higher bill (they had me over the barrel, so to speak, since I absolutely needed a tire). I'm so glad that places like this still exist. read more

I'm a long way from home and due for a tire rotation. Given two choices in town, I opted for the mom & pop over the chain tire store. I pulled up to their funky mid-century downtown Tillamook tire store and asked if they could rotate my tires and how much? They said yes, and no charge! I informed them that I didn't buy the tires here, am traveling, and that I demanded to pay! They said ok... $10 bucks! I was in and out in 10 minutes! Great folks and service! So I have to ask... Why would anyone choose the big box over a place like this?? Keep these guys in business another 60 years!! read more

After returning from lunch at the Rodeo Bar and Grill, we found our right rear tire to be flat. Being on vacation we had a back end full of luggage and I did not want to empty everything to get to the spare. I called AAA and they told me a one hour wait. So I used my GPS to find the closest tire repair place and it was Tillamook Tire Service, 1/2 mile away. I called and got someone on the phone right away, told them my situation. There service truck arrived within 10 minutes, put air in the tire and I followed them to the shop. They repaired the damaged tire and we were on our way within 20 minutes !!! If I could review with negative stars I would. Very disappointed. Had a blow out on my toyhauler between Jones Creek Campground in the Tillamook Forest and Tillamook RV park in Tillamook Oregon. Made it to the park and called their after hours service line. The guy I spoke with informed me that he was just sitting down to dinner but he would be able to take care of it in the morning. we verified with him he had the tire in stock, and that he knew where we were. He told me he would be there between 8 and 9 AM. At 9:30 AM I called his number again because he had not arrived and I had not heard from him. Left a voicemail and asked him to call me and let me know if there was a problem. At 1:00 PM when I had received no response of any kind we called Hillsborough Tire Factory in Portland (over an hour away) and they came right out and fixed it asap. Very unhappy to have been completely blown off by Tillamook Tire Service and to be ignored by their employees. I will definitely let all the RV'ers I know to avoid this business. read more
