I pop in to this Tillys alot usually just to browse and see if I find any gems. At my recent visit I found the COOLEST purse for my mom! Popped in to check out swim trunks. Quickly found what I wanted and went to try it on. While in the changing room a sales associate rudely and literally asked me to "get out". I was shocked. I hadn't been in there more than a minute or two. Apparently someone else had been using it and must have stepped out and was trying to return to it. There was no reason for me to think the room was unavailable since the door was open and nobody was in there or standing anywhere near it. There was no sign or anything letting me know this room was still being used. I would have been very happy to leave the room if the the associate had kindly said, "excuse me,..." or "sorry, but..." or "hey, do you mind...." Instead, it was simply "you need to get out". I quickly got dressed and left. Decided not to purchase anything and don't intend to in the future either. Decide for yourself whether or not this is the kind of place you want to shop at. read more

I gave them two stars because the clothes are okay. The clerks don't know anything about the clothes. Are there any sweaters made of cotton? Such a simple question. They have no idea. Nor do they care to help find out. The only reason I ever go into this store is because my children like the clothes. The customer service is horrible. They have signs up for promotions that they don't honor. Just last night I was there and they couldn't find the price of an item. They spent more than 10 minutes trying to find it. I had told the clerk that I was only interested in things that were returnable as RED (they are really orange) ticket items are not refundable. When they finally found the price (after more than 10 minutes), they told me that it was not returnable. They were unwilling to make any adjustments. I always leave this store having the joy sucked out of my day. Additionally, the noise is ALWAYS horrible. In an effort to voice my concerns to the corporate customer service department, I tried to call them. I have been on hold for more than ONE HOUR without hearing a human voice. Unbelievable how much time they are willing to waste. I don't think I will wait any longer. They have a rewards program this is not easy receive the benefits. For as long as we have been shopping here, I have given my phone number for each transaction. Why? What for? Now, I'm told that I have to register online. Really? I was in a desperate search for steel toed shoes, but unfortunately they don't carry any; however, the manager (Lisa) and employee (Taylor) were so nice and sympathetic to my situation, they gave me several different options as to where I can get my steel toed shoes. I see a few reviews here that are quite negative - we have been coming to this Agoura location since it opened (in between Target and Guitar Center) and the staff is ALWAYS friendly, helpful and genuinely interested in making sure you find what you need. They always say hello when you walk in and are very sweet and cheerful and they go above and beyond to find sizes and check stock and help reach hard to get to items. It's a pleasure shopping here. So whatever you are reading below, keep in mind other opinions as we can't think of one bad thing about the store! read more

Ok so I have this place a three star for the following reasons. First when I took my daughter here to buy her clothes their were 3 people that I saw working in the store, We were greeted but after that was it! This store is big and has a ton of clothes all over its confusing in some areas because let's say your looking for a kimono, well they are all over the store so you really need to search. It would have been nice to have a member of the staff help us find clothes or help put together outfits for my daughter to try on. Trust me it would have been a bigger sale for them. I also was running back and forth getting clothes different sizes for her instead of the staff. I have been to multiple Tillys and always had great service with a lot of help I just think this place needs more motivated people. I ask another employee what the store hours where she could only tell me when they closed... No doubt that's when she get off work! Yes the store was clean as well but it's a brand new store so I expect it . The lady who checked us out was nice but also seemed preoccupied with telling the other two girls what they needed to do. Over all the prices are expensive a tank top for $40..... ummmmm no so I would say this place is good for some things mostly sale prices items or if you like something cute and beachy type and don't mind paying a price for it. I was searching for the number to the Westlake Shoppes Tilly's location and saw the lukewarm reviews- it made me want to share my experience since it was entirely positive. I just returned from Tilly's. Yes! The staff are young- and may not have a Nordstom/Neiman Marcus- level knowledge of the merchandise- but they were friendly and helpful- even getting a manager (who was also very helpful) when he couldn't answer my question. Kyle and Mateo were the guys who helped me and were great. He even remembered my name when I called to ask about an item I had just brought home. Tilly's in general is a great store; Unfortunately, this location is HORRIBLE. I have been in the store on two separate occasions looking for shoes. Both times I waited for 10 minutes while not one person came up to help me. They are all a bunch of young kids busy talking. I also called today to find out about a size. I was on hold for 15 minutes. They hung up on me and when I called back I had to go through the whole thing again and wait on hold for another 10 minutes. I will NEVER shop here and suggest that the owners hire people who actually care to serve the community! read more

I've been in here twice now and always had someone approach me to ask if I needed help. I forgot what his name is but he's so nice! they went out of their way to help me look for a particular item I was looking for and was gonna order it online but we ended up finding my size in the store which was cool. I like this location better then the location in thousand oaks next to the pier 1 way more friendly service. read more

So this is my story: I called last night around 6, and asked them if that had an item for me (a mint hydro flask to be specific) and they offered to keep in on hold for me. I said that'd be great, and I asked what time they closed. The woman said they close at 8, so I get to the store at 7:30 and the workers are walking out locking the doors. So I tell them I called and they said you close at 8. Sooo the next day I come back to buy my item since I missed them the night before. THEY LOST/ COULDNT FIND THE ITEM. I am never shopping at this Tillys again, that's absurd. Either they sold my item to another customer that saw it or they are just unintelligent and don't know how to put something on hold and actually HOLD the item. read more

Unfortunately, I also experienced terrible customer service at this store today. I tried to buy two swimsuits and asked if they could call another store for another item. The young girl insisted that she couldn't help me until she handled the customers BEHIND me. We got tired of waiting and went to another store and bought three swimsuits. Very disappointing customer service. We won't be back. read more

The sales help here is horrible! They're teenagers who couldn't care less about even greeting customers much less helping them. I walked in and a young teenage guy was maybe two feet away and never even acknowledged me. When I went to the register to pay he even asked if anyone had helped me. When I replied no he gave me this fake "I'm sorry about that" answer. Maybe if you worked instead of flirted with the female cashier my experience would have been different. read more

Stopped by this store this evening 08.08.17 and the employees at the registers were all super friendly, enthusiastic, polite, and extremely helpful. They were able to look up a specific shoes I've been hunting for the past week and sold out everywhere. Gabriela along with two other young ladies, and a gentlemen were able to contact another store for me, get them on hold, and even get me the address and phone number for the location without a problem. Would highly recommend this location if you're looking for someone pleasant to help you! read more

This store will not remove the sensor tags so that shoes may be tried on properly. Customer service rep stated, "we only remove sensors after purchase". Irritating when purchasing shoes for 2 growing teenagers. read more
