    California flatbread

Went there for lunch Saturday on a great date. We had the daily specials: Tuna won tons and the California Flatbread. Both were fresh and delicious. Our server Destiny was fantastic!! Just great ambiance and a good time there. Definition going back!

The first thing you notice when approaching the restaurant and or sitting on the outside patio is the excessive volume of the music on the porch. It's WAAAAAYyyyyyyy too loud. We moved tables ASAP when another outdoor table closer to the road on the elevated porch when it became available and it was better. There was a great breeze and even with the street "noise" it was a good option with summer temps of 87F at midday. Wait time was about 15-20 minutes from order until food delivery. Overall it was an average meal We ordered the pressed Cuban sandwich ($14) with a side of fruit. The options for sides are breakfast potatoes, fresh fruit or chips . The other person in my party ordered the club sandwich and added avo (+$1.50) also with fruit for $16. Overall the meal was ok but as with many things these days it feels overpriced for what you get. Two people for lunch before a tip was $33.70 with tip of $5.30 came to $39 even..

very good food our waiter was ali she was so nice and helpful definitely will come here again

Friendly staff! The food is delicious and the drinks are made to order. Also, the atmosphere is great.

Super cool little Cafe in Hiawassee. Small but good menu. And they have beer and cocktails! I got a wrap. It was good. The potato salad was fine. I wanted slaw but they were out. Everyone was happy with their food that evening. Cool place with lots of arcade games. Great food with good service. Worth a try if your in town!

Menu - reflects CASH prices, there's an upcharge for credit or debit cards.

I read the rave reviews and couldn't wait to try Tilted Café! It was 4:15 pm on a Saturday & not too busy. Atmosphere 5/5 LOVED the decor! Retro arcade games, beautiful booths, tables and outdoor seating and a killer Halloween theme. Where else can you find a skeleton DJ? I couldn't stop snapping pics! Prices 2/5 Where do I start? They were out of 1/3 of the items on the limited menu and ALL of the specials. There's an upcharge for credit & debit cards and although a small sign was brought to my attention AFTER I got my receipt, it should be mentioned beforehand. I'd have gladly used cash! Lastly, $15 for a flatbread I only ordered cause they were out of what I actually wanted? It better be phenomenal! It wasn't.. Service 2/5 Slow. My to-go order took 45 minutes! There wasn't a hack (like in another review) or a crowd. Worse yet, I wasn't offered an update, an apology or a glass of water! I checked on my food 3x. If I hadn't prepaid I'd have left. When I finally asked for a manager he was kind and apologetic. He said they were short-staffed & I appreciated the complimentary fruit salad & local tips. Food 2/5 Underwhelming. The Cali chicken flatbread was filling but I couldn't taste the pesto or bacon. The chicken was dry & lacked flavor. Maybe if it had been smoked or BBQ? It needed a kick! The SW drizzle felt like an afterthought. The fruit salad was small but tasty, apart from the under ripe cantaloupe. in short, although I appreciate the style, Tilted Café should invest in staff & better food. It's a miss for me.

This place has a great vibe! They have arcade games inside and even their bathrooms are themed arcade. They have a nice outdoor patio for dining. We are brunch here. This is one of the only restaurants open on Sundays. Their Bloody Mary is delish! I highly recommend! I got their quiche with breakfast potatoes, my mom got the T and I asked for a piece of cake for my moms birthday. When I asked if they had a candle I got the reply, "we don't do that here." In a rude tone. So that's what the 1 less star is. Everything else was great.

What a super cool spot. I adore playing games and there were walls of video games to play. It's a fun clean hip friendly atmosphere. They had honey to add to my coffee which I love and our sandwiches were delicious. I only gave four stars because a family with two small kids excited to be there and play games arrived around 215. They close at 3 o'clock and turned them away because they were running out of food. That really sucked. They could've said our food is limited, but this is what we have the choices yours instead of just turning them away. I thought that was really sad. Hopefully they learned their lesson and won't let that happen again. The family hung around and played a few games and went to the bathroom and the little girl asked as they were leaving... Why are we leaving? Just didn't leave a good taste in my mouth. Have extra. It's not like we were in Alaska and it was the end of the season. This place has so much potential and every single customer is an opportunity. Hope you grab it!

Didn't realize the logo had the pinball machine detail in it, so surprised to find a whole lot of game machines in the place (which I'm neutral about but it was interesting). Staff were very friendly, however had a ton a tattoos including the face, kinda distracting, if you care about that sort of thing. Went for breakfast. Took over 30 min to receive the waffle and the corn beef hash. Didn't really come by at all for coffee refills or anything, and had barely any stock of cream or sugar which we thought was weird. The place was busy, but seemed like a simple meal to wait that long for and when we did get it, mine was cold (potatoes were literally barely warm, but the egg was warm). Seemed like it had been sitting for a while or something. Really wanted to like this place, it has potential and is cute, but we did not love the food and lack of coming by the table (although when they did, like I said, they were very nice).

If you're looking for great Southern comfort food with a million-dollar mountain and lake view,…read moreHawg Wild BBQ & Catfish House in Hiawassee is hard to beat. We stopped in on 1/2 Price Tuesday Catfish Special, and it has to be one of the best dining values anywhere in North Georgia. For just $9.99, each lunch included two perfectly fried catfish fillets and two sides--an incredible deal for the quality and generous portions. The catfish was outstanding. The fillets were light, flaky, and fresh with a perfectly seasoned, crispy coating that wasn't greasy at all. Every bite was delicious. The homemade tartar sauce complemented the fish perfectly. The sides were every bit as impressive. The collard greens had that slow-cooked Southern flavor, the BBQ baked beans were rich and smoky with just the right touch of sweetness, and the Carolina slaw was crisp, refreshing, and balanced the meal nicely. The Texas toast rounded everything out. Our server, Charity, was friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome without ever hovering. The restaurant itself has one of the prettiest settings you'll find. Sitting above the lake with panoramic mountain views, it's worth the stop for the scenery alone. Whether you're inside looking out the large windows or enjoying the view from the parking area, it's a beautiful place to relax over lunch. With two lunches, drinks, tax, and a generous tip, our total was only about $34. That's exceptional value these days. If you happen to be in Hiawassee on a Tuesday, don't miss the 1/2 Price Catfish Lunch Special. Between the outstanding catfish, delicious Southern sides, friendly service, unbeatable price, and spectacular views, Hawg Wild BBQ & Catfish House has earned a place on our list of favorite North Georgia restaurants. We'll definitely be back.

All the meats -- and definitely all the sauces -- were simply mediocre... dare I say even a little bland. Even the appetizers (fried pickles and fried green tomatoes) were bland. Another gripe: noticed when we sat down that their seats have fabric over cushions... in a BBQ restaurant... =stained jeans. Didn't think much about it when sitting down, I brush off every seat before sitting, but when I got home there were three distinct grease stains on the back thigh of my fairly new jeans -- look like they probably came from one spot on the chair.
