Facebook has more favorable reviews so we decided to go for it. We were hungry, the weather was perfect, and the views do not disappoint. Oh, and our dog was with us. We ascended the back steps to the covered patio and I headed to the hostess stand to get us sat. I was promptly greeted and we were directed to a four-top. The views were so beautiful!!! I felt like I was on vacation! Dawn introduced herself and took our beverage order. Per her recommendation, I ordered the Grouper Basket and he, the Buffalo Blue Fried Chicken Sandwich. The menu changes twice a year so these may not always be available. The Buffalo Blue Chicken sandwich was to die for... seriously the best Buffalo chicken sandwich I've ever had. He loved, it, too. The Grouper basket had 3 large grouper fillets, freshly breaded with thick homemade tartar sauce. The Cole slaw was the only meh part of the meal tasting a little bland. The grouper was flaky and delicious. I also ordered a side of green beans which were good. Shaved Parmesan instead of the can kind would have elevated them. Still, they were good. The Marina Station on Lake Chatuge was a great place for a meal and relaxation. We'll revisit when we return to the Hiawassee area. read more

The food is hit or miss, sometimes great other times you send it back because they overcooked your burger. The waitresses are not that great, they are always missing and not as friendly as in other places. The ambience is great, open to the marina with great views, if you get lucky that day with the food, and the waitresses or waiter is in a good mood, then you're in good shape. The smash burger was clearly not a smash burger and nothing to write home about. The fries are too heavy due to size and breading. The pretzel was amazing. Our server was nice but sloooowwww. The sections or table rotation had servers walking across the whole restaurant to wait on their tables. If our server had just been on the patio, things probably would have been better. Had lunch with family today celebrating my birthday late. Food was good though we were there during Sunday lunch crowd and orders were lagging behind. Massive thunderstorm came thru while we waited and the live music had to hold up until it passed. They had plastic shades around perimeter of outdoor eating area so no one got wet. It made for an interesting time. We were going out onto lake chatuge afterwards so we stayed inside and spent an hour playing interactive games they have. For the entree, I just had the cobb salad, which was really good and refreshing on such a hot day. The real highlight though is their appetizers. We went here for a engagement party, it was quite lovely. The staff was very knowledgeable and was able to get us seated in three large groups. We did call ahead and there was eight people per table. I was very thankful that we went at 11 o'clock on a Sunday because it became very busy once we got there I had the bottomless mimosas, which were actually very good. They ran a little on the pricey side, but totally worth it. We sat at the outdoor area it was quite warm and they did not have the fans on. I think that if the fans were going, it would be very comfortable out there. The food ran a bit on the pricey side as well, but pretty good quality. Not super kid friendly just because of the heat. However, there was a sandy area where my kids went to go play my husband and I took turns keeping them entertained down there. read more

Had to hit the shitter within 5 minutes of eating this garbage and to top it off they had no toilet paper in the dirty bathroom. Par for the course. Showed up for dinner and was seated quickly! They allow dogs and we had ours with us. Food was just ok. The restaurant has a good vibe and the open porch is spacious! Here is why there is only three stars. There were kids running around and screaming and the the staff ignored the chaos. The kicker is they have a play area for kids but allowed the kids to ruin a date night by ignoring the running around tables and screaming through the restaurant. Located right my the lake with a very nice looking restaurant. That's where the good parts end. Service is a C- at best. The girl at the desk just ignored us as she was sitting there. Our waitress looked like she was miserable and hated her job. She was at least nice enough to take the awfully prepared food off our bill. The food is a D+. We ordered Steak tacos. They where mystery meat that was overcooked and swimming in grease. The cheese was Kraft American cheese. The menu said it came with a side but we didn't get a side either. The appetizer was fried pickles and sadly enough they where cold. What a great location but to be honest this group doesn't deserve it. They should start over with the staff. Both the kitchen and servers need a ton of training and leadership. Never once saw anyone that appeared to be leading the ship. Two stars for location. read more

It is worth eating their just to eat on the patio. Watching the boats come and go is very relaxing. Food is ok. My wife had the Blackened Mahi-mahi. It was good but the portion was extremely small.
