I went there with a friend at 9:00 at night. We both ordered the fish and chips. The music was a little loud, but that is expected. What was not expected is the fact that we could barely hear our waitress or the manager much less each other. The fish and chips took almost an hour for us to get them. The manager did come over after we had been waiting for 30 minutes and told us that they had sold all they had prepped and it would be a bit longer. I asked how much longer and she said she would check. She never came back and told us how much longer we would have to wait. The fish was bland. It's amazing what a little bit of salt to the fish and/or the batter will do. The coleslaw was good. Other than bringing our food and the bill, we never saw our waitress. I will never go back. I would say that this is hooters minus the good food, but I only saw our waitress twice after she took our order and that was to bring our food and our bill. read more

Okay, After my 3rd beer and a "tilted tea" tonight, I give the place 3 stars only because I am full and the terrific service placed me in a great mood. We ordered calimari (big mistake) dry and tasteless...but the manager came over, apologized, and offered a free cocktail, dessert, or appetizer in its place. I ordered the Gaelic chicken, it was filling...nothing to brag about. Bottomline, the food subtracted from this rating but the drinks, atmosphere, big screens, an service make it a place I'd visit again. read more

Well the Tilted Kilt was our second choice as we went to Logan's Roadhouse right near the Tilted Kilt. We left Logan's because we were seated and then left sitting at a table for 10 minutes without so much as I will be right with you. So we walked over to the Kilt. We got service rather quickly with help TK beat Logan's by a mile. The menu is rather extensive. Typical chain/sports bar stuff. Nothing was exceptional. The pace of service is rather slow but it is geared more as a bar then a restaurant so most people will linger longer. This means there is no need for a hurried pace like in most restaurants. Our server was very pleasant. So please do not take it that I am saying the service was bad as it was not. I have to agree with the other reviewer Chaudhry A's comment that it is better than Hooters. My buddies and I wanted to enjoy a good meal and have a few beers. So one of the fellas had a great idea to go to tilted tilt. The beers were good, but the food was aiiiiiight. Our waitress was definitely new to the job because she didn't know much about the menu. I opted for fish and chips because I wanted to match my meal with my New Castle. The fish and chips were a tad bit salty. My friends' food didn't have that much praise either. We aren't really picky eaters either. I'm probably not giving them a low rating because we were tired of our complimentary hotel food. This place has plenty of room, but when we got there for dinner on a Wednesday evening, it was pretty much empty. People must have heard about the food. I hope this place improves in their training and cooking. It would be dad to see this place close down. Next time in in Killeen, I'd come by again to see if they have gotten better. read more

Can you give no stars? My coworker and I went and were pretty much ignored by our waitress. A red haired young lady who told us it was her 2nd day. We were not impressed with her efforts. Did no one train her? She sat at the table with customers and ignored us. My friends glass was empty. He asked for mayo with his order and no mayo came with it. I would not recommend this location. There appeared to be no management in the restaurant. Or if there was and they allow the waitresses to just sit at a tables with customers and ignore other customers you won't be open long. No one reads these or reacts to these comments it is not evident. read more

It's a Sunday afternoon and we were in Killeen with family. Decided to come to eat. We chose Tilted Kilt Pub to eat. A few cars in the parking lot. We walked in, the hostess barely acknowledged us being there. A couple of moments pass and an employee comes over to us and sort of welcomes us. They seat us. About 10 minutes pass and they come to get our drink order. We were already contemplating getting up and leaving. It looks to be two waitresses and a bartender. One of which is standing in a chair decorating. Guess customer service isn't priority. read more

Food is not great. Bangin shrimp appetizer is about the same size as a clam strip (8 pieces) side dish. Bartenders are all consumed with themselves and their cell phones. Had to ask for silverware, another beer (as it sat empty for a while), and to order my main course. Not sure how this place has a 2.5 on Yelp. I never received my steak salad. A salad?!?! It should not matter that they are located near a military installation. A chain restaurant is a chain restaurant. Nope. Went in there once and what a disappointment. Thought it would be better than the one back home but no. I'm starting to think it's the franchise. Went in during a Sunday football game surprisingly not packed but only place that wasn't so I went in. Sign said please wait to be seated. So I waited and nothing. So I sat at the bar and took a quarter of a game to get any attention for a beer and when asked I said I didn't want anything and left five minutes later. I went in and they saw me in bad place where I could see a tv screen and the funny thing is that there everywhere and the place was pretty empty. Then my waiter was nice great smile and friendly person she brought me water and then never saw her again. I waited for almost half a hour and none came to take my order even though the walked by and saw me there felt weird in the end I just got up and felt. Poor service...we waited for 1 hour for some wings and then decided to leave. Little kids working there with no manager to be seen in sight.

Nice atmosphere and tasty food. The Irish nachos were damn tasty as was my Purple Haze drink. I had the Tilted Club and was quite surprised. It was yummy! What was not yummy was the hair in my salad, but we got a free dessert, so I was cool about it. The ladies were attentive and my hubby mentioned that they could come around every 3 minutes rather than every 60 seconds. Lots of visual stimulation which included tons of TV's. :) I will return on Friday nights for live music and UFC. Kinda felt like we were in Southpark's "Raisins" episode where they spoof on Hooters. My first experience was great! I went in there the other day. My server Shelly was really nice, great conversation, constantly checked if we needed anything. The last time I came in I had the Monte Cristo sandwich and it was amazing. Drinks came out quick and everything went without a problem. Tonight, service wasn't bad but myself and my friends' food was horrible. Overly salted, not well prepared and even ended up being harassed by the management. Killeen continues to baffle me as I decided to go have a drink at Tilted Kilt which I'm familiar with being there up in Dallas where I live. No great expectations as it is a tittie bar with ok looking girls....But what earned this watering hole a 1Star is the fact that they run up there beer prices taking advantage of the soldiers who keep there doors open... I paid $8.50 for draft beer..... $8.50!!!!!! I don't pay that in Dallas regardless if it's domestic or imported. What really took the cake was it was a domestic beer and they robbed me blind. The worst service I have ever experienced, server was incompetent and clearly did not have the mere understanding of effective service. Water was refilled once in a 50 minute timeframe. Wings were delivered cold and without ranch or traditional celery. Server was never to be found when needed water refills or checking in on the food. Server was unaware of other food within the order which was brought to her attention and came out 30-40 minutes late (fries and a burger, fries came out undercooked and soggy in a to-go tray, burger was slightly undercooked). Ticket was disorganized on 2 occasions for proper tabs. Manager was called upon and issues were addressed, he offered a gift card but it was declined because I will never go to this establishment ever again. Waitresses were semi-attractive and mannered. Upon leaving, another table bolted out with the same server and complained about similar issues of food and drinks not even being served. I wouldn't go here if I were you. read more

Obviously this place has very poor management. The waitresses seem to be more focuses on showing their ass's than customer service.

First off, I went there to watch baseball playoffs. Big close out game. And there was KARAOKE GOING ON!!! Are f@$$ing kidding me! Then, I sat there for five minutes and nobody came by for anything.
