This was a few days from thanksgiving, and first couple places I called wasn't able to squeeze us in. This place was! Khalid saw the van, found the problem, and his brother Muhammad confirmed it and showed me the replacement part. The oil filter housing is made of plastic so over time it will crack and leak. Seems to be a common problem for this engine that fortunately they had the part on hand. Ram dealership also confirmed it's a common issue. Anyways, it was a big job, so wasn't cheap, but they were able to give it replaced with an aluminum part which is recommended so this won't happen again, and best of all, that day. We're completely grateful we were able to make to home in time for thanksgiving. Lastly, big thanks to Muhammad for loaning us a car. When he saw that we weren't local and were traveling with dogs, he lent us a car, no charge, so we can get to a motel. And one more thing, I had the van inspected at the Ram dealership, and there said no leaks or any issues for the oil filter housing, so the install was done well!

They noticed that my back tire was wobbly (not the official phrasing but the gist) -- something they could not repair and that I should not drive on. I called a mechanic close to Costco, who kind of shrugged me off because they couldn't get me in that day. I then called ImportDoktor (should have been my first call!). They also didn't have availability but told me how they could tow it to their shop for $125 and get on it in the morning. They were so friendly and helpful that I went with them. From there, they were great about communicating with me, sending me quotes via text. They were able to finish it the next day and left my car ready for me to pick up. As much of a headache as this experience was, ImportDoktor made it as smooth as it could be. Now my car doesn't make the same worrisome noises that it was before. This is such a trustworthy spot to take your cars. Great customer service and repairs all the way around!

Since I haven't been able to receive a call back, I scheduled an oil appointment and tried to call again to clarify that I needed another service as well. I couldn't ever get through. This dealership is hoppin! I totally understand. When I arrived today to tell them I needed another service added, they accommodated me without question (it was a $2,000+ service). I had tried to call and see how long the service would take before arriving so I could make accommodations but wasn't able to get through. I asked if someone could drive me the 0.6 miles to the nearby mall and was told they would see what they could do. I understand they're short staffed, so I just sat around and waited. After nearly 3 hours, the representative said they had a car for me to drive to the mall while I waited for my car to be finished with it's service. Then, they told me that my car needed new spark plugs and tires. I had the spark plugs replaced within the last 12 months and they only have about 15k miles on them. I explained I would get my tires replaced closer to winter. They then told me my car would only be about 30 minutes more then. An hour and fifteen minutes later, my car was finished. During my stay, multiple others (men) were transported or given a loaner for the day. I left the dealership after my $2000+ bill feeling undervalued as a customer. They fixed the glo plugs, wire harnessing and updated the computer in it. Per the settlement agreement, anything to do with the exhaust- parts and labor was to be covered. It has been in multiple times over the past few years to fix these issues. Several times I mentioned to Kyle and customer service that I kept having to add coolant and asked if this was normal to which he basically blew me off and they never responded to my email. I have texts and an email to prove this. When I contacted Porsche corporate it basically came down to the point that they can't make the dealership do anything. I've been losing coolant for a few years but it was small and couldn't find where it was coming from. Fast forward to this year, my mechanic found a pool of it when he was changing the oil. So I called them and set up an appointment. Since it was 2 weeks out of the settlement warranty, they refused to look at it unless I paid the hourly service charge $225 an hour and then maybe "they might offer a discount" to what needed to be done if it was related to the settlement. First, I'm not paying $225 an hour if "maybe" you're gonna help cover it. It should've been looked at for free since they have blown me off each time I have asked and then gone from there. Not to mention Kyle no longer works there. I wonder as I've said before if it's because I'm a woman and they didn't take me seriously. So now here we are. Manager has not been proactive to reach out to me or be the least bit helpful and until I pay to have it looked at by them, Porsche has closed my case. Would definitely never buy a car from them or have anything serviced for their ridiculously high prices of labor and parts. Go to your own mechanic and pay 1/4 of what they charge. Zero trust in them to do the right thing and take care of me as a customer.

The damage was serious enough that it clearly needed more than a minor fix--either dent repair, replacement, and definitely repainting. I went through my insurance, and Manning's was one of the closest options to me. They also had a high number of strong reviews, which helped me feel more confident choosing them. Getting started was easy. When I called, they said they could get my car in within about a week and a half, and I was able to schedule an estimate almost right away. At the estimate, I was initially told my car would be done by the beginning of April, so I dropped it off on March 12 with that timeline in mind. After they got further into the repair, though, I was told the completion date would actually be April 21. That was a big difference and definitely frustrating, especially since I was relying on insurance for a rental car. I had to change the type of rental I was using just to stretch my rental coverage and avoid paying more out of pocket. The good news is that the car was actually finished much earlier than that revised date--at the very beginning of April--so I was very relieved it ended up taking less than a month. And most importantly, the repair work itself was immaculate. You genuinely cannot tell the damage was ever there. The paint and body work turned out beautifully, and they did an amazing job restoring the car. The other thing to keep in mind is the price difference. The original quote was around $7,500, but the final cost ended up being closer to $8,500. Since I was going through insurance, that wasn't as big of an issue for me, but if you're paying out of pocket, that kind of jump is definitely something to be aware of.

Prior to coming to them I was told that they guaranteed their work, but I was also told when I brought it in that they were not responsible for the light going out. I was really disappointed when they told me that and I was responsible for getting a new tail light and they would install in for free(I guess that what they mean as far as guaranteeing their work) I was and still disappointed in my experience and hope they will not disappoint anyone else in the future.
