After all that the doctor finally looked at her file from the hospital and called me today and said she was unsafe for us and the staff and because of my concern for my daughter and solely based on that one conversation I had with the doctor yesterday , and after apologizing he kicked the whole family out of their business ! Right now I'm speaking for my daughter. I am her words ..what i'm going to say to you dr. G.. You said I should watch my words before I say them, and I'll say to you. These words are our daughters unspoken words. And what you must learn from this as that autistic people talk to you THROUGH their behaviors. She refilled my medication and ordered full blood work. However, my experience with the office staff was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. On 7/22, I was told the office was out of blood test kits and instructed to return the next day for a walk-in. When I returned at 11:00 AM on 7/23, the outer door was open, but the second glass door was locked. I saw someone inside playing loud music and talking on the phone. When I knocked, a staff member came to the door and said no one was in the office, so I couldn't complete my blood work--despite being told to come back. She said they would fax the lab order to Corewell Hospital so I could get the blood work done there. After waiting seven days, Corewell still had not received any order. I even checked my chart and confirmed nothing had been sent. When I called Dr. Ahmad's office, the staff insisted it was sent, but I knew they were lying. I could even hear them laughing in the background while speaking with me, which was very disrespectful and unprofessional. When I met Dr. Ahmad on 7/22, I had already raised concerns about the staff's rude behavior and showed her evidence. She apologized and assured me that it would be addressed--but unfortunately, nothing has changed. I feel mentally exhausted and disrespected by this ongoing pattern of carelessness, dishonesty, and poor service.
