Tim W. Frazier was one of 5 top-quality tree service companies, per Washington Checkbook and other review sites, who came to my house in May for an estimate on trimming 8 of our trees, removing one tree, and cutting back neighbors' branches hanging over into our yard. Tim himself seemed highly knowledgeable, very polite, and his estimate was quite reasonable. He and his crew arrived on time the day of the work, he consulted me whenever a decision needed to be made that we had not previously discussed, and they cleaned up the yard debris afterwards. The diseased tree that needed removal was cut down chunk by chunk, so it didn't fall onto our bushes like the one a different company had removed several years before. My husband is particularly pleased with the resulting shape of the maples in our front yard. We're both glad that no large limbs have fallen so far during our severe summer storms. My husband saw these guys doing work in our neighborhood and called them to remove a few small trees in our yard. They came by a few days later with a whole crew, removed the trees, ground out the stumps, cleaned up after themselves, and were done before we barely knew they had started. This is a long overdue comment to say that Tim Frazier Tree Service is outstanding. Tim personally came to assess our job, which was a ton of work, and went around our whole yard, then gave a more-than-fair estimate of the cost on the spot. While at my house, another neighbor waved hello and later told me Tim's company has done all of their tree work, over and above the call of duty, as a storm came up during one of their jobs, but his crew continued working after it was safe to continue. I called him on the recommendation of my sister in Burke, who has also used Tim's services and can't speak highly enough of him and his company. Due to unforeseen family circumstances, we weren't able to have the work done as scheduled, and Tim was so kind about our change of plans, it bowled me over. I would highly recommend Tim W. Frazier Tree Service. He and his crew arrived promptly, as scheduled, and after a short consultation started in on the work. They trimmed 8 or 9 very large trees and left the yard in pristine condition. They replaced things that had needed to be moved and closed the gates when they were done (an important note when you have a dog). The trees look amazing. The yard looks great. I would use Tim W. I needed my backyard cleared for a pool construction project so I found the information for Tim Frazier and a couple other places online. Tim was very responsive from the start (sadly, a rarity) and he provided an estimate that was extremely fair. He removed several trees, including one that was 40-50 ft, pulled out LOTS of brush and debris, and pruned several other trees. He did a phenomenal job and knocked it out in just one day.
