Great pizza - their NYC style "Jumbo" pizza slices are HUGE and worth the price ($7-12). They also have a wide assortment of sandwiches, salads, pastas, gyros and other items. Their beverage selection is also excellent - that orange Sicilian Italian soda is amazing. Excellent and prompt service as well, highly recommended!

Very small pizza shop, but there stools for you to sit and eat. I ordered a cheese jumbo slice and it was quite big! Enough for three to enjoy. They also have a pepperoni, veggie and meat lovers slice. Def one of the best jumbo pizza slices in the District

What more else to say about this place? They're known for that iconic big slice for an decent price tag, I mean you honestly cant beat that. Fill yourself with some carb goodies and it will have you in your recliner ready for that nap. Thanks for the good experience as I was visiting from San Diego.

SOLID SLICE ALERT! I was in DC on a work overnight and I walked to do tourist things and in the way back I wanted something fast and hot since it was cold out. I came across this small unassuming pizza place that said they had a "JUMBO SLICE". In all about a slice and I like jumbo but I was not ready for what I got. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Tatiana's Pizza is small, maybe not the cleanest but the staff was nice and their slice is solid.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It's almost $10 for a slice and I thought that was outrageous. Fortunately for me I have too much price to walk out after hearing the total due. I waited for about 8 min for my slice to come out. DING! my slice is ready! My slice may have been ready but I was not ready for the size of this thing. The slice was like a 1/4 of a whole pie! You could feel two adults or 3 small children with just one slice! THIS THING WAS HUGE! The slice it self was a little floppy on the middle but how could it not be, it was about as long as my forearm! It was packed with pepperoni and layered with cheese. It was so hot but when it cooled off a bit the crust had good crunch, the sauce was tangy and plentiful. It was more than a gimmick, it was actually good pizza. So when you're in this area or any area and see a small unassuming pizza place go in and try it. I wasn't expecting this good of pizza or at that bargain price!! Pizza on dudes!!

This was crazy. I've never had a slice of pizza this big in my life (there's a place in San Antonio that comes close though). I felt gluttonous eating it. You seriously have to formulate a plan on how to eat it, it's so big. I was successfully able to fold it and eat it but it was a two hand fold with some pinky action to keep the end price up high enough to eat without topping sliding off. None of us could finish our slices, it was that big. After getting about halfway I was full, so I stopped to evaluate my life's choices. Never thought I'd be defeated by a slice of pizza but there I was, in a park in DC, defeated. This is what America is all about.

We are ALL familiar with Jumbo Slices right? I know I am!! I've been going to them for quite some time now (Especially on them Club U, Kaffa House, or Republic Gardens nights back in the day). A fellow reviewer went to this fairly new one...so I pulled up!! . Where I am: @pizza_tatiana . Location Reviewed: 1730 Connecticut Ave., N.W Washington D.C. . Items Reviewed: LIKE THAT! Their Supreme Jumbo Slice ($13.20 with pepperoni, sausage, ham, black olives, green pepper, jalapeños, & onions). The ingredients here were of a higher quality!! Plentiful, meaty, & good!! LIKE THAT! Their Cheese Jumbo Slice ($7.69 each with mozzarella cheese, & marinara). People were in here ordering this midday!! Again, you don't need to be drunk at night to enjoy their basic cheese jumbo slice!! I didn't even finish my slice!! . Customer Service: On Point . Parking: Rough period! . Recommendations: Get that jumbo slice!! . Accessibility: It's NOT wheelchair friendly, BUT it's differently abled persons friendly. 5 Stars=STAMP 4 1/2 Stars=LIKE THAT 4 Stars=DELICIOUS 3 Stars=DECENT 2 Stars=PASS 1 Star=NAH #Bigschlimsreviews

10 out of 10, this pizza is the closest to New York Pizza. I have ever tasted in Dc. The sauce was savory the crust was crispy on the bottom. It was not soggy overall, it was delicious. Highly recommend. I purchased a slice with extra cheese, onions, bacon, and chicken. It was $6.99, with $1 for each topping added. Parking is parking in DC if you know you know. Meaning if you can find parking your lucky and i was lol. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was a little seating not much a just a few bar seating near the door.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service was good I didn't have to wait long for my pizza to be made highly recommend

The pizza slices are a lot larger than they look in the pictures; flavor is excellent; a great deal for a lunch.

Staying in the area and read about jumbo slice pizza and thought it would be IG worthy. Jumbo slice does not disappoint in size. The pizza tastes decent, the thin and crunchy kind but doesn't really stand out. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's very small and only maybe 5 stools if you want to eat there.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It's about $9 per slice which is pretty good given it's the size of at least 3 regular slices. And it is definitely good for IG but probably won't go back again.

    Fabian L.

The only thing I didn't enjoy was the cheese, but the pepperoni was really good. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a cool pizza spot with nice decor.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I really appreciated that they give you a box for the single slice.

He knows I love pizza and knows my favorites, and he said I would enjoy the spot. I went in with no expectations and I was greeted by such a welcoming little spot. They were playing some great jams and showing 2000s music videos on the TV. Was this place made for millennials? My friend and I sat at the bar... There were several tables we could have done as well. Further in, there was a register and a digital menu showing the prices of the spices and the combos. We were also handed menus -- one food menu and one drink menu. It turns out they have a lot more than just pizza! And they do cocktails, beer, wine, canned cocktails, sodas... It's a lot! I decided to do a slice of classic cheese and mumbo magic with their house favorite frozen margarita. The cheese, the crust, the sauce... It's $5 a slice, and in my opinion, totally worth it! While the cheese slice was great, the mumbo magic was even better. Each bite was bursting with flavor and it didn't even need red pepper flakes! This is saying a lot, but I think I like this pizza better than Wiseguy! Great frozen margarita too, but it was REALLY really cold. I saw the menu that they have froyo too, which is cool. Usually just the plain tart and a flavor of the day. I went over to the machine to inquire about what the flavor that they was, but they didn't have one that day. But the tart one? It was so delicious! When I go out I never just have the plain flavor, but it really tasted so good. Next time, I'd be excited to try some of the toppings with it It appears to be newer, and I really hope this spot does well. And there is so much more pizza to try!

Every table…read morewas full, there was a steady line out the door, and it was clear this is one of those spots people are willing to wait for. The pizza absolutely justifies the hype. It's classic New York-style with a thin crust that has the perfect balance of crispness underneath and just enough chew in every bite. They offer a great variety of toppings, and I appreciate that you can order either by the slice or as a whole pie depending on how hungry you're feeling. Now, let's address the service. It was definitely on the snarky side, bordering on rude. Under most circumstances that would knock a star off for me, but honestly... that's part of the authentic pizzeria experience. Having spent plenty of time in the city, I almost would've questioned the legitimacy if everyone had been overly cheerful. The staff wasn't warm and fuzzy, but they kept the line moving and the pizza coming, which is really what everyone was there for. If you're looking for a cozy, leisurely dining experience, this probably isn't your place. If you're looking for an excellent New York-style slice with a beautifully crisp crust that lives up to its reputation, Andy's absolutely delivers. I'll happily brave the crowds for another slice.

Which made for a very interesting experience. It felt like she would just come by and smile at us in the middle of our conversation conversations, and I don't know if she actually asked anything each time she came. The service in general could've been wayy better. We ordered pizza and then pasta and when we asked for a box, we were made to box up our own food and we were just given a huge pizza box that took up 80% of our table and the waitress walked away. I don't know if I was expected to just hold the pizza box while sitting at a small table and trying to eat my pasta, but there was absolutely zero consideration given to where I was supposed to put this large pizza box on this small table when we still had half of our meal coming to the table. The waiter also didn't pay attention to any dietary restrictions or allergies, and offered zero guidance on that. Also, we were told that there was a time limit for where we were sitting despite they're being several tables open the whole time we were there. For the food, I really enjoyed the food- Italian salad, pizza with the hot honey, and Alfredo pasta. But everything else really dampened the experience. If I were to go back, I would either order takeout, eat outside, or come another day when it wasn't so loud, and have a different waiter.
