Whenever we travel we love to stop in at the Timber Ridge to have a couple pre-cocktails prior to our flight!!! We absolutely love the Breakfast Burrito- it's perfect for sharing! It's one of the best breakfast burrito's in town, it's the airport so you have to live with double the price even if you're in Reno! We always sit at the bar in our same bar seats to watch the planes leave and the sunrise for an early flight! It's the only way to get my husband here early! A double screwdriver with Tito's is $18.99 so be prepared to pay for a couple drinks for 2 and a Breakfast Burrito is around $106 and then the tip! I don't mind, I rather get here early and relax prior to my flight than stand in long lines. read more

My wife and I ate here for lunch while we waited to board our flight to Las Vegas. The service was so-so. The host who sat us didn't appear to want to be there and his personality and candor reflected that. Our waitress was better, but not by a whole lot. I ordered one of their featured cocktails and as you can see in the photo, the presentation compared to how it's photographed in their marketing is fairly sad. It was tasty, though. So there's that. The food was much like the service. It was just ok. I ordered the "spicy" pasta dish with grilled chicken added. Flavor was pretty flat on both the pasta and chicken, and there wasn't much spice to speak of. My wife's club sandwich was decent...leaving the fries as the stand out between the two meals. My opinion, the food and service doesn't match the cost. This was a $100 meal. Yes, it's in an airport so you can expect inflated pricing. However, I don't feel it's worth the price. Ambiance is nice, though. Definitely would be a good spot to catch a pre-flight drink or two. read more

We had such a great experience at Timber Ridge Restaurant--which is honestly not something I usually expect from airport dining. Our server, David, was incredible. Warm, attentive, and just genuinely kind in a way that felt rare for a busy airport setting. You could tell he was juggling a lot, but we never felt rushed or overlooked. He checked in at all the right moments, kept everything moving smoothly, and somehow made the whole experience feel relaxed despite the travel chaos around us. He was also super knowledgeable about the menu and gave great recommendations without being pushy. Food came out quickly, everything was spot on, and he made sure we had what we needed before we even had to ask. It turned what could have been a stressful pre-flight meal into one of the more enjoyable parts of our travel day. If you find yourself passing through Reno, this is absolutely worth a stop--and if you get David, you're in very good hands. read more

Timber Ridge at the Reno airport was a whole experience -- and not in a good way. The restaurant was maybe 1/4 full with booths wide open, but apparently they're being reserved for the mysterious wave of "large parties" that may or may not ever arrive. After traveling all day, I politely asked for a booth for a little extra comfort and was quickly informed that was simply not an option. Fine. We sat at a high top, ordered wine and food, and carried on. When a tiny two-seater booth opened up, we (naively) thought it would be reasonable to ask to move. You'd think we requested the VIP section for eight. We were "allowed" to move -- very reluctantly -- complete with attitude and dirty looks. If shifting two tired travelers to an open booth causes that much distress, maybe comfort just isn't part of the Timber Ridge experience. New update -- due to the fact that I wrote this while sitting there at the restaurant. Another lady came in requesting a booth (again they are all still open despite the claims of a mad rush) and she has four people with her and he still is sitting them at tables. Power trip central. I wish someone could explain this methodology to me but it's weird. And embarrassing. read more

Killing time before my flight and went to get a glass of wine. Asked for a Cab or a House Red. Was asked for a 5oz or 8oz - I asked for 8oz. Wine was brought in a plastic cup . . . whatever. Was given a receipt for $30+ dollars?!! I questioned it - waiter said yeah, that's the only Cab we have and that's what it cost. I told him a little foresight would have been nice (ie. let me know before you pour it). Wine was a equivalent to a $10 bottle. Don't come here. read more

Great breakfast stop. For airport food, this was actually very fresh. I got the omelette, with mushroom and spinach. A good portion and it's topped with avocado. I love this spot in the Reno airport. I've been maybe five times over the last four years (I fly into town a lot to visit family). I've always been in pleasantly surprised by the food and beer selection. The salmon salad is great and so are the burgers. I had a BBQ chicken & jalapeño flat bread last night and it was delicious. The beer selection is great too. Also, the prices are on par with most restaurants and don't seem terribly inflated (like some airport restaurants can be). read more

Avoid this place! It is way overpriced. The service is average to below average. I was waiting for a flight (this is located in the airport) and wanted to grab a quick bite. I had to fight with them to be allowed to sit at a table instead of the bar. And it wasn't worth the fight. The table was dirty and everything is old and in need of an update. Paint is chipping from the banquette's. The place just feels uncared for. The food was way overpriced and terrible. It was overcooked and for $20 you just got a lousy dry burger. There are much better options, even at the airport. What a last memory of Reno! The people who own this place should be ashamed of themselves. read more

I had time to kill at the Reno Airport. I went through TSA around five hours before my flight. I needed food. But I didn't want to take any chances that something might go amiss. I looked at Timber Ridge's menu and thought "that looked me safe." It's better than safe. I did one of my favorite meal games, bartender roulette where I tell my server I like rum, sweet, and whatever the bartender wanted to do. Nick was spot-on with rum punch. My server Jackie was very sweet, attentive and was willing to play bartender roulette with me. Menu caution: don't "upgrade" to fries. Stick with the in-house made chips. Absolutely amazing. You can have fries anywhere. You can't get these fresh-made chips anywhere. My grilled chicken sandwich was delicious and a perfect portion size. So... if you find yourself at the Reno Airport, and you gotta eat, walk by McDonald's and Subway and a pizza place (forget the name). Sit down at Timber Ridge, relax, enjoy great service, and savor every bite of those chips! read more

I've been coming to Reno for several years now for business trips. At the airport, I normally depart from the "C" terminal and end up walking past Timber Ridge and settling for refreshments closer to my gate. I am glad I got to the airport earlier than normal so that I could check out this sleek tap room. Upon entering, there is a generous seating arrangement both at tables and at the wrap around bar. The layout is very open and has a large windows to make the space feel larger. The floor and bar were very well staffed as I was flying out of Reno on a Friday afternoon. Although I wasn't very hungry, I opted for a draft beer (or two) and ordered the Texas Chili. Reasonable prices for both items and quick delivery. There several taps that accompany the well stocked bar. And the facility has number screens for entertainment and monitors that display flight information. Honestly, I can't believe I have neglected visiting this place sooner. Looking forward to my next Reno trip because of this place. read more

Waited 10 minutes for them to acknowledge us. Than another 10 for someone to figure out how many people is in our party. Mind you they had plenty of open tables. Food is horrible, but what's worse is the service. Waitress wanted us to order online because she was too lazy to take our order. Also wanted us to pay for our food before we received it. Don't know too many sit down restaurants that require you pay first. Than the food was super late and came out cold. Had to eat fast to make our flight. Good food but service is lacking! Went to the bar to order 3 entrees and was told by the staff they were running out of go to boxes? Wtf does that mean? Lady at the bar was rude from the get go. Would not take my order until I sat down at the empty bar. Also, greet guy is a jerk too. I would suggest more customer service training would go a long way. read more
