This was my first time eating at this restaurant and it was scrumptious! Timberline is on the casino floor of the Ameristar Black Hawk Casino. My bestie brought us here for a relaxing getaway and birthday dinner for my mom. She, as always, picked the perfect spot because we had a great time! The restaurant was busy as all get out so there was a slight wait for our table but the hostesses checked in with us several times. The kind of great customer service I appreciate. We were sat a few minutes after our reservation time in a private booth in the front area of the restaurant. Our server, Jessica, was slammed but made sure to touch all of her tables. She came over with water and since we're starving we ordered our drinks and food all at once. She brought over fresh bread and butter which was warm and yummy. Our appetizers came out: squash blossoms, scallops, crab cakes, and bone marrow for the bestie. We devoured everything and made a lot of satisfied food sounds. We were able to sit back and digest before our entrees came out. She ordered the 3oz wagyu and we ordered the 8oz salmon to share. The sides were ala carte so we ordered the asparagus, heirloom tomatoes, and mashed potatoes to share. It was all so good. Everything was cooked to the requested temps. The sides were perfect! Can't even truly describe how perfect this meal was. We all sat back and sighed when we were done. The sides were a generous portion so we have leftovers. Jessica brought over the dessert menu...we glanced at it but none of us had any room for more things. Well done, Timberline and staff, for a delectable experience.

Came here with a group of 7, was seated promptly. Our server was friendly and attentive. Appetizers were yellowtail kinilaw, bone marrow, and squash blossoms. All delicious! Steaks ordered were prime rib, filet mignon , and ribeye. All cooked to perfect temperatures requested and flavorful. Kudos to the executive chef and all the staff for an excellent dinner. Would highly recommend!

Forgot to picture the wagyu filet which was incredible and the baked potato (wouldn't order again). Overall we loved the place!

Restaurant was in the casino and a cute set up for being so. We were sat in the center and it was empty so we asked to be moved to a booth, the lady gave us such a hard time it was laughable. We even said if she cannot move us it's fine but booth preferred. She said that's what the comments section is for in the reservation to where we had just put birthday. Our server was friendly but wow a smile or recommendation something would be nice lol Filet was delicious! I loved my strawberry peach salad! French Onion Soup was mediocre and not warm enough. It was very sweet that they gave us a complimentary birthday dessert. I recommend for a steak in a restaurant in Blackhawk, CO. Limited options.

We are regulars of Black Hawk and have tried almost every restaurant in town but strangely had never been to Timberline Grill, so we decided to change that this weekend. We were greeted and seated as soon as we got there, smooth start that just got better as the night progressed. Our server, Jessica, was truly amazing. She got everything right and she did it with a pleasant attitude. Wait time for food wasn't horrible for a busy Friday night. We loved the ambiance of the restaurant, perfect setting for every occasion. The highlight of the night was the food, I had the Roasted Half Jidori Chicken, best roast chicken I've ever had, my wife had the Lobster Bisque and Fried Prawns. She only had great things to say as well. Highly recommend if you're in Black Hawk and you want tasty food!

Came here for dinner after a long ride in the mountains on a Saturday. The evening got away from us so, the idea of a warm solid meal after 10pm was exciting. We were sat immediately and ordered some drinks, and appetizer and dinner. The drink list was minimal which was kind of surprising being at a casino but, we all found something that we could enjoy. The wings came for the appetizer and they were $14 for 6-- rather pricey. For the meals, we got the burger (table favorite), the prime rib (very fatty), and the jerk half chicken (was supposed to come with apple slaw & chorizo but was over a bed of what seemed like breakfast potatoes). All in all, we were happy to be feed.

Pissed is how I would love to start my review! Hostess was absolutely horrible on customer service! Do Not Come Here! I don't normally give places this badge of review but absolutely horrible is what I like to say about the customer service I received when I walked up to it. Please do not come to this restaurant. The food is atrocious and the customer service is eating more atrocious.

The shop is very small and a bit tight, but does have both indoor and outdoor seating options available which is really nice. Pricing for their offerings are not publicly listed, which may be by design. We ordered a small cappuccino, a BLT and a ham and cheese sandwiches. The sandwiches are very large (could be easily shared) and the coffee was good. However, the price was quite steep ($38.08). We do understand that BH is a tourist town with no other industry, but nearly $40 still seems a lot for two sandwiches and one coffee. We also didn't find the service super friendly or particularly efficient. At delivery of our food the server said: "I guess I forgot to mention sandwiches come with a bag of chips. Get what you want from the back wall". It took a moment to figure out where the chips were (the back wall is technically the bar) but I finally realized they are on the right side of the shop. We also found it amusing that the options on the Square terminal (for what is basically a self service coffee shop) had suggested tips options as: 25% - 30% - 35% Again, a bit steep for the service provided, but no complaints for the quality and flavor of the options we tried and if we are back in the area we may decide to split a sandwich.

Finally we got to try it ourselves and were not disappointed. Two of us tried multiple dishes. My favorites were the hushpuppies, Swamp soup, and Andouille Sausage Rolls. However I had no complaint about anything we tried. The hushpuppies were crispy on the outside and appropriately cooked inside for a satisfying bite. Those and the Swamp Soup brought back fond memories of grandma's homecooking. I'll likely crave these in the future. Both of the rolls we tried had a pleasant crunch filled with distinct but complimentary flavors. The owner, Martina, was very friendly and she does it all. This local cafe presents a lovely small town, homecooked environment making me wish I had time to linger. I am eager to visit again and try other items on the menu!

They have baked goods, cocktails, nick knacks to take away with you, and a very cool red sofa to settle into, if you need to wait for seating. We saw homemade jams, pickled peppers, and freeze dried candies to temp you. Need something quick to take on your hike - they've got you covered here too. They have so many delicious-sounding things on their menu, and we were fortunately just in time for lunch because I was specifically craving their BLTA. SO good!! My second option would have been their Italian Sandwich. My friend didn't enjoy the soup or sandwich he got, which is a bummer. I'd come back again, though. They also sell baked goods, and I was tempted to get some before leaving. Next time! According to other Yelpers, their Grilled Cheese is amazing so I'm adding that to my list of things to try. Parking is never really super challenging in Georgetown (yet) so take advantage and support this local business next time you drive by.
