Bobbi is the reason my dad and I have become weekend regulars at Timbers. For most of the past year, my dad and I have met up every Saturday or Sunday for lunch. At first, Timbers was an easy choice because of the comfortable booths and the perfectly cool escape from a 110-degree Vegas day. Stopped in on a Saturday afternoon for lunch, and it was a great experience. They have the best chicken fingers and ranch, although honestly, everything I've tried has been delicious. This was my first time visiting this location, and it was very clean. One of the best parts was that it was not smoking. Bobbi provided amazing service--she was attentive, friendly, and made some excellent drink recommendations. Our food came out hot and fast, which made the experience even better. It's been a long time since I've been to Timbers and I was so pleasantly surprised at how clean it was. Usually the Timbers restaurants are super smoky and it makes it hard to enjoy your meal. Although this was a Saturday night and it was pretty busy, it was mostly smoke free. We were greeted by our waitress shortly after sitting down and began reviewing the menu. She was friendly and attentive throughout our visit. For our entrees, we decided on the chicken Caesar wrap and beef Philly cheesesteak. Both options were satisfying and the portion sizes were generous. The wrap was packed with chicken and was large enough that I made two meals out of it. My fiance enjoyed the beef Philly, he thought it had good flavor and was packed with peppers and onions. He mentioned the ranch had really good flavor too. This was definitely a redeeming experience for us and we'll be back to try some more menu items in the future. read more

This place was clean and had a cool atmosphere. It did smell a little like smoke, but the drinks were cold, the service was good, and I ended up winning a little money, which was a nice bonus. I've had several issues with the servers protocols at this particular location. Number one is it a thing not to give your customers no silverware before or after they sit down. Are we expected to eat with our hands before or after receiving food? Asking for a friend I shouldn't have to ask for silverware several times. Usually it's given to the customers at this particular casual dining location, which it is a casual dining location and you usually receive silverware afterwards. Unless I'm mistaken. I mean, I do have a food and beverage background along with fine dining. So I know protocol. This has happened to me twice. The last time was last Thursday July 31. Another issue that I found that wasn't the usual protocol for a casual dining experience was when I did ask for the bill specifically because I was hosting a guest who is helping me out with a major handyman project on my home. The female server decides to blurt out loud the specific amount of said bill owed was instead of just handing me a ticketed receipt of the specific amount,. I was majorly embarrassed, I couldn't believe it and I was very upset. You don't just holler out how much the total is for the bill. I do take my family members and people I do business with up to this particular location on many occasions. Number one it's less busier and more of a quieter environment than Olive Garden on the opposite side of me which I clearly reside right in the middle of. How do you guys train your servers? I understand it can be a training ground for new people that want to get into serving, but this was not kosher whatsoever. I was very turned off and I've been in the food and beverage industry for well over 20 years. I was mortified. You don't just holler out the set amount owed on the bill. You hand the customer discreetly the receipt to be taken care of and the payment manner that they choose. I was mortified just absolutely out of my head mortified. I even said something to my Handyman guest I was doing business with and he totally agreed with me and he was kind of put off by it as well. And if he noticed it and he noticed how upset I was obviously something has to be done about the situation because that was totally uncalled for. read more

Picked up the food- that took a bit to get someone to notice me but when the waitress came out with my food she was great. So I said that's funny cuz the last two nights the evening staff was very kin, yet she never brought any water for hI'm, not the sausage that I ordered for him. when she came to give the bill I told her I was only going to give her a dollar tip because of her rudeness and her attitude towards me and my dog, but I then said no I won't lower myself because of your unprofessional behavior. Came here at midnight for my 21st birthday and had a blast! The bartender on shift (I can't remember his name now) was very friendly and so sweet and quick to get me my drinks for my birthday. By far the best food of any of the video poker joints in Vegas. Open 24/7, the Lake Mead location has friendly servers and very comfy chairs for actual dining. TVs all over the place, and they'll switch the channel to the sport you want as long as you're not preventing someone from watching the sport they want. read more
