Try not to be intimidated when you walk into this place by the fact that it's decked out like a bbq place that knows what they are doing and the clientele who look like they know their way around a smoker! I really wanted to like this place and I did! I really enjoyed the food and atmosphere at SNS. The service was quick, friendly and attentive. I must go back to try some other items on the menu but I went for lunch and tried the brisket Philly with the Mac-n-cheese. I usually like my Mac with a little more crunch but I could stop eating this Mac. It was cheesy in a saucy kind a way with a really good flavor. I ordered the soup special a bowl of the crawfish etouffee which came with sweet corn bread and honey butter. The crawfish was a touch overcooked but had great flavor with a spicy kick. I also ordered the sandwich special the Cuban sandwich, wow super delicious! It came with a spicy mustard and crunchy pickles and the meat was yummy on the perfectly toasted bread! It's been a long time since I've been here when I first went here many years ago, old location I think a restaurant/gas station combo around the corner. I wish went back sooner! I forgot how good their food is! My BF went to pick up food so I can't personally talk about their customer service but he said they were nice and have a drive thru. Definitely will be going back. Stopped in for lunch again because the food and service are top notch - cornbread is amazing. Seth was awesome and checked on us often. The inside is designed nicely and it's clean and cool inside. I'm sure I have found the best BBQ in Vegas! Inside is decorated beautifully with tables, booths, and a bar. The servers are so nice here - they really make you feel "at home". I absolutely love their Baby Back Ribs. The rub on it is delicious and I don't even need to put sauce on it - but their spicy sauce is good as well! The rib meat falls off the bones and it's so good that they can run out before the next batch is done. Their brisket is so tender. It's my favorite after the Baby Back Ribs. When you order a salad you can add meat for $1 and it's totally worth it. I also tried the brisket on another night as a part of a 3 meat platter. As far as sides go - the Mac and Cheese comes out nice and hot with some breadcrumbs on the top. It was excellent. I also enjoyed both types of beans - the regular ones and the beans and rice which has a mild spicy flavor. The cornbread is delicious - be sure to get their honey butter with it! Plus! What a great place to eat! My husband lived the beef ribs, in his words finally found a bbq place that makes beef ribs the way I like! I had the 3 meat combo plate with brisket, rib tips and wings with a side of chips with old bay seasoning definitely a do again. Hubby had a side of smoked beans that he devoured. I'm critical and picky when it comes to barbecue. On that note, the brisket wasn't as great as I thought it would be, and even less so was the pulled pork. They were okay, but nothing to write home about and not flavorful and smoky enough. Sides were very good though, and the surprise of the evening were the ribs which were very good with an excellent rub and nice smokiness and texture. This place isn't much to look at from the outside. It looks like a repurposed Burger King or McDonalds. Hell it's in the back of a trucking gas station. Inside is nice, and fairly busy. I felt prices were reasonable, service fairly quick and responsive. The bbq was good, not the best I have ever had, but good. My only criticism would be that the brisket is cut super thin. Wish it was your spec 1/4" cuts. Didn't really care for the bbq sauces, didn't really need it. Ribs were good, smoked beans and coleslaw also excellent. The winner though... The cornbread with honey butter. Probably some of the best cornbread I have ever had. Make me a tray! Seriously they must put crack in there! It is fantastic! Here on the Friday after Thanksgiving and it's quiet and open! They have a Turkey club special for those who want more turkey. Got the rib tips, chicken wings, bread pudding and a smoked bacon burger. Next time, I'm doing the pudding ala mode and a Bloody Mary. The Bloody Mary looks like it could be a meal in itself. Service was great. We were greeted & seated right away & got our food quickly. It was my first time here but my other half has been here multiple times before. The barbeque here is good overall. I ordered the brisket and hotlink meat sampler. Brisket is tender but slightly dry. The thin cut that they do with the brisket is a little strange, I do very much prefer a thicker cut for brisket. Hotlinks are what you'd expect. The cornbread was good when paired with the honey butter. Food itself is not necessarily impressive but I give this a 5 star for the excellent service one of their staff provided. We came in a group of 20+ and she separated all our checks individually which was an impressive feat. Me and boyfriend we craving some BBQ, found this place not too far from us. We were thinking it might be good cause its right by a truck stop. Maybe because our standards are bit higher with both of us being raised in rural areas but we were very disappointed. First red flag was the AI slop "art" covering all the windows. Go in and we get seated immediately cause its totally dead inside, just a few regulars. Look over the menu and its full of AI slop as well. There's a cocktail menu and every single drink has its own AI garbage picture. Also, prices are atrocious. I know BBQ can be expensive nowadays but for the quality of the food the prices were insane. My boyfriend got the brisket platter, half pound of brisket, beans, and cornbread. He said the beans and cornbread were admittedly phenomenal especially with the honey butter (and I agree) but the brisket was little rubbery. That plate was 20 dollars on the menu. I got the 2 meat sampler (20 dollars) with Mac and cheese, cornbread, ribs and brisket. The portion was good (2 slices of brisket and 4 st Louis ribs) however the Mac and cheese was just terrible. Soupy with a square of hastily melted cheddar on top with breadcrumbs. The ribs were very tender and falling off the bone but they had no flavor. The BBQ sauce on the table was okay though and helped a lot. When I finished eating I went to the bathroom. I was in the smaller stall when I looked up and noticed a sticker near the ceiling with a nazi eagle on it and read "Vagabond Transport"? Immediately knew I should get out ASAP. Went back out, server asked if we wanted 1 check or 2 I said 1, he came back with 2. Looking at the receipt I noticed that they were charging 21 dollars for our plates instead of 20. I pointed this out to our server and provided my card and he looked annoyed when I confirmed i only wanted the 1 check. He said he put a discount on the check and it was about 5 dollars less than what the original total was. All in all, felt like I was getting scammed and I really should've taken the AI garbage on the outside of the building for what it was: a message that said "We don't value quality." read more
