As I pulled in, I saw what looked like the shack where they smoke their meat. An automatic star for that. When I walked in, I was struck by how it looks like a store as well as a restaurant -- and, indeed, they do sell candy, jellies and jams, wine, and it looked like they had a fridge in back with beer. I had a hard time deciding what I wanted; everything looked good. I ended up getting the rib sandwich -- basically a pulled pork sandwich. I really enjoyed it. It came with bagged chips that were too salty; I didn't eat many of those. If I'm in the area again in need of breakfast or lunch, I'd definitely stop here again!

The wings were very saucy. There were eight appropriate size wings. They could have been crispier. For an entrée, the Michigan whitefish ($26.99) was ordered. It also came with a side, and I chose the string beans, which were outstanding. They were crispy with plenty of garlic. The whitefish was seasoned with Parmesan crusted spices. Then you have to pay more for fries. And four dollars for an iced tea. I'm attaching our bill... 52 bucks plus tip out the door. Let's just say it was pretty much 52 bucks. I didn't tip much on this gig. Summary Waterfront restaurant is a swamp and not Lake Cadillac as you would expect. Customer service that is lacking for sure Food just sucks and not even worth the cost at all. They obviously don't care about keeping their restaurant clean or about serving food that customers actually like and they're proud to serve. $52 for two sandwiches and two drinks. We are locals here to Cadillac and I will never stop foot in this place again. We've been here once before and we left because we didn't even have anybody come and wait on us after we were seated. I don't know why we went back this time, but we won't be going again. I suggest all you people coming up here to enjoy the great up north don't spoil your vacation by stopping in to Burke's Waterfront.

Wow, just had an incredible dining experience at this restaurant! The food was absolutely amazing, with each dish exceeding our expectations! But what really blew us away was the exceptional service we received, even though we were a large group of 12 on a busy night. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable evening, and their attentiveness was truly commendable. Our family recently visited The Timbers on a Sunday afternoon. The food was wonderful, came in a timely manner, and our waitress Jessie, was tremendous. One of our grandchildren has autism, and Jessie's interaction with him was priceless. He rated the Timbers his new number one restaurant, which believe me, is no easy feat.
