This is a typical Basalt, Co. low rent piza business with Aspen prices. They use bait and switch on line. Their 18 inch cheese pizza was 16.00 bucks on line. when I went to order it, the price was $21.59 + $2.59 per topping. Tasters in Snowmass Village is cheaper, and a lot better. And they are upfront with their pricing. A meat lovers or supreme Tasters Pizza is $29.00. And it is a true 18 inches plus. Don't be fooled. read more

Paid about $39.00 for 2 people which got us 2 drinks and 2 subs. They give you a lot of food, so honestly just ordering one sub for 2 is a solid plan. Seems like the locals like this spot and I think they were ordering slices of pizza which might be the way to do it. Place was busy especially since it was noon, so older kids and construction crew came through. Holy Moses, terrible pizza, terrible salad. Crust on pizza couldn't have been any worse. It tasted like the not crusty texture-less frozen heated limp crust pizza at the red neck cheapo amusement park. Bland sauce and cheese. Why would anyone eat here? New York pizza in el jebel is a much better choice. Actually any of the grocery store freezer case stuff is a better choice. Maybe there sandwiches are what keep this place in business but I wouldn't know. Staff is friendly though. read more

Whoah! This place blew my mind away. I wanted to take this place home. Such a wonderful family owned business and you can tell they put their hearts into it. I went in and all their pizzas were beautiful! The Sicilian pizza is a total must and worth the wait. I totally want another one. Super thick crust which I loved and that sauce hit he spot. I know that this place uses really awesome ingredients because the delivery guys came when we were visiting. Pretty awesome of this place. Everyone was incredibly friendly and loved to talk. They have take and bake pizzas too. We are coming back and I'm so happy we decided to try this place out. I totally recommended if you are in the area. But be careful... As a pizza connoisseur, I have held Timbo's Pizza in high regard through the years. I have found it at parties in Rifle, at concerts, and at friend's houses in Carbondale, and now that we went to Basalt for lunch, we were impressed with the great atmosphere and large selection of menu items! The pizza can be purchased by the slice and the selections are masterfully made! Add a Stromboli, or fresh leaf lettuce salad, or a hot or cold sub, or take home the whole pizza! There small pizza is the same size as everyone else's large pizza!! The atmosphere is cool, relaxing, and loads of fun. I couldn't get over all the wonderful stickers and sayings behind the counter!! A classic collection! The camaraderie and feeling of good friendship was refreshing! Good fun with good hard working folks! Don't over look the high quality and nutritional value, & thought, that is in everything they prepare. Saw all the great reviews and decided to try this place. Ordered a large 3 topping pizza. The bill came to $24 and some change. Got pepperoni, jalapeno and pineapple. Jalapenos looked like they were from a large tub that hadn't been used in a few weeks and were really mushy. Everything else was just bland, I wasn't really impressed with the food. I would rather go to Whole Foods in El Jabel and spend $13 for a large 5 topping pizza made with fresh ingredients. People working there were nice though. read more

There is literally no competition in Basalt. Timbo's has the best pizza in the valley. Sandwiches are large and use Boarshead meats. Family run business with wonderful smiling service, fast delivery and they are now open on Saturdays from 11-8. I am a Timbo's regular when it's pizza time. They recently added delicious soft serve ice cream and you can request extra Hershey's syrup. Brownies are terrific and they also have their ready made frozen pies...take 'me and bake me! Love this place! We are from Colorado Springs but come to basalt twice a month and my toddler loves this place and it's safe to say my husband and I do too!
