Let's start by saying it was 4:25 when we arrived and Yelp said it was open, but actually they open at 4:30pm However, they were having their usual meeting and they let us sit and ask us to wait a little while they finish. As soon as they were ready they took us to a great spot and started service. The place looked great (clean and spacious) And service was fantastic! We ordered the burrata platter to start, then my husband had the risotto of the day (it was the special with osobuco) and I had the grilled fish of the day (bronzinno) with frites. Everything was delicious and portions were really generous. Yes, it's pricey! But the food was worth it.

There is nothing on the menu that justifies the pricing. Even the wine pours are pretty sad for what they charge. B) They have a chalkboard that advertises happy hour but you can only get happy hour if you sit at the bar or a high top. Every weekend all surrounding patios are packed, except Wild Fig. It's ridiculous to spend so much money to have the most beautiful patio, but no one uses it because the restaurant is always empty. We do happy hour every weekend and this is the only spot that never has one person outside. Ever. If they lowered the menu prices and extended the HH menu to outside we would be here weekly. As it is, we may come here once every few months but doubtful. Check out Amara in Carbondale....I wish they were in Basalt. We have nothing that good here.

We decided we didn't want to risk having the same experience again for Christmas dinner. As we were leaving, I happened to come across Brass & Anvil and decided to call on a whim to see if they had any availability for Christmas Day. To my surprise, they were fairly open and able to accommodate us, which ended up being such a blessing. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by Luke (I believe that was his name), a 16-year-old host with the warmest smile and such genuine kindness. He seated us with care and made us feel immediately welcome. Our server, whose name I unfortunately can't remember along with Luke, provided excellent service throughout the entire meal. The food was absolutely amazing! Every dish was delicious, and there was not a single complaint at the table. The drinks were fabulous as well, perfectly crafted and enjoyable. Overall, the entire experience exceeded our expectations!! We had an amazing experience at Brass & Anvil and would absolutely return. Highly recommend, especially if you're looking for great food, great drinks, and even better service!! Oh and the ambiance was so so classy and cozy. Thank y'all so much!!

I'm leaving yet another... 5 star review for The Pullman because every year I come dine at this…read morerestaurant I am blown away. First off, the most notable thing about this experience was the genuinely most amazing waitress I think I have ever encountered, Grace. Grace was the kindest soul, she took such amazing care of us and went ABOVE AND BEYOND. Me and my family will go out to eat now and say "she was good but not as good as Grace". Second off, The food was AMAZING per usual. I had the Wagyu steak and it was cooked perfectly, I usually hate going out for steak because I find it to never be seasoned as much as I'd like but this took the cake. The blue cheese dip with chips was so delicious, like possibly one of the best things we have ever tasted. We also tried to carrot cake sorbet which I know sounds odd but it was so delicious, you can tell the kitchen staff puts their heart and soul into this food. My husband got the special, which was like a Turkish ricotta stuffed pasta and it was AMAZING. Even my sister who got the wagyu burger, AMAZING. My only critique was the hostess was very rude to my family for no reason when we walked in which almost turned my parents off from trying to the most amazing restaurant. Luckily, the service got amazing after that. Everyone was so kind and helping everyone, just a great atmosphere. They also had the Knicks game playing which was great haha. I can't wait to come back next summer for my favorite meal despite living states away we will always make it back to The Pullman.

I started with the pickled deviled eggs - little vinegar taste with a slightly sweet filling is a perfect combination. 10/10 The Steak Tartare is unlike any tartare I've ever had before. It comes on this homemade tater-tot that's shaped kind of like a piece of bread or a cracker. I wasn't expecting it, but it made the dish. There is some sort of sauce drizzled, which tastes like an egg yolk base. I scraped it with my fork so I could eat all of it! So delicious! Finished with the Pierogies. Handmade, thin wrappers with perfect, delicious filling. It comes in a bowl with an amazing sauce I couldn't get enough of. I literally used a spoon to drink it! If you're in town, get a reservation - they are very busy!!! It's worth it!

I had "The Regular" burger with a side of sweet potato fries, and it was so good. The fries and burger were excellent. My friend ordered two big beers and really enjoyed them. We got good service from a teenager who was kind of awkward but very attentive. I didn't bring this up because I didn't want to bother him, but the menu clearly says that you can add cheese, mushrooms, and avocado for $1, but they charged $3 for it. I was wondering if I had somehow misread it, and that they charge $1 for each extra topping, but the receipt said the avocado was $2 and cheese + mushrooms was $1. I do not like a misleading menu and price discrepancies. It ended up being around $28 after tip, which was pricey for just a burger and fries at a casual bar.

The real reason we will be back is the service. Chloe and Kendall were the stars of the show, sharp, welcoming, and genuinely on point without ever hovering. If you want a place with honest food, a solid pour, and a staff that makes you feel like you belong, Brick Pony just earned a customer for life.

In my opinion this is not medium rare. It's close but overcooked.
