I called 28.5 hours before our reservation, yet they refused to waive the cancellation fee and are charging $75 per person ($300 total)! This was not a no-show. Weather-related travel disruptions are completely out of a guest's control, and every other reputable restaurant I've dealt with has shown basic understanding in similar situations. Instead, I was told I could reschedule for another time or purchase a gift card--neither of which is realistic, as I live in another state and have no idea when I'll be in Aspen. This policy, combined with the rude and inflexible response, felt incredibly unreasonable and profit-driven. Very disappointing experience, and I would not recommend making reservations here. What a slap in the face considering this is not even a highly rated restaurant and I've recommended two families. They said it's due to reservations being hard to get by.
