Wife and I stopped in accidentally as we missed the closing hour at Breakfast in America next door. We had a very friendly and attentive waitress; could not have been better. The menu is large and includes American hoagies and burgers but with cute Mexican names. The extensive Mexican food runs heavily toward seafood, but we got lunch burritos which are huge. No side dishes, but none needed as the rice and beans are inside the burrito. Wife got chicken, lots of meat, and she enjoyed it. I got the veggie, beans, rice, peppers, mushrooms, and others, quite tasty. I did not find their hottest sauce very hot, but was told they can make it hotter on request. There is a guacamole sauce and two other choices brought to the table. Wife liked the chips and salsa, just spicy enough, not too much garlic. I can't comment on other dishes, but we would go back if in the area again. read more

Here to review the food only. Seems like everything I ordered wasn't seasoned enough and the green chili was too sour for my taste. I also ordered a side of fries (I know why order those at a Mexican restaurant). But they were just dumped in a paper sack and weren't cooked fully through. Just because the prices are high... doesn't mean the food is good. read more

So I just called to speak with the owner, because 3 of the 5 people that are a sandwich here on June 30th ended up in the Hospital with SEVER food poising! The Manager Gabby was not receptive to hearing about it and was VERY dismissive to me!! When 3 people NOT just one get sick and end up in the Hospital you would think they would WANT to "LOOK" into it!! It was a nice call to INFORM them. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND this place if they are not willing to care about your Health Risk!!! Bad Mayonnaise can happen to the BEST restaurants!! read more

I almost feel bad writing this but in hindsight, there were a lot of things that went wrong with service. Perhaps this will help them or potential customers make smart dining decisions. I can't comment on the food as we never got ours. My husband and I visited on Labor Day, walked in at about 10:55-11am. I'll start by saying my husband is a chef and I was a server many years ago so I'd like to think we're understanding and as patient as can be. We get it. We've been there, done that. The restaurant was starting to fill up and there were only two servers. The servers were running around like crazy trying to take care of everyone. Initially, we felt bad for them. They were really hustling and were short-handed. Finally got some drinks after putting in our order. We watched two separate groups cancel their orders and walk out due to long wait times. An hour later, they start getting food out. They served 3-4 tables that sat down after we did. We asked about our food.. still nothing, so we walked out. An hour ticket time for huevos rancheros and a breakfast burrito is nuts! There were no large parties there and the restaurant was not that big, so no real reason for an hour long wait besides poor staffing. No one tried to make amends as we looked increasingly frustrated. A bit unfortunate as other reviewers have left nice reviews about taste and quality of the food. We ended up with lunch from Whole Foods. read more

Los Cazadores is a hidden gem in the Roaring Fork Valley. This is some of the best food around! I've been delighted with everything on the menu so far. Try the Bullo Burger for the best burger in this valley!! The owner has always been in the kitchen cooking since this place opened. He is a true talent! Great food! Great salsa! Terrible service! Our server Karina R. was horrible! Very rude! She was slow, never checked on us, when we asked for our chips & salsa (after we patiently waited) she responded "give me a minute". After we finished our meal I had to take the check to the bar to pay because she never returned to the table to get it. She continued to be rude and never even thanked us! HUGE menu, Mexican food is top notch. Definately get Mexican items. Shrimp burrito is incredible, Chicharrones Tacos are excellent, great salsas. Really good beans and rice. Got expensive seafood fajitas but I would definitely recommend the lower priced Mexican dishes on the menu. The decor and atmosphere is nothing special but the food makes up for it! read more
