Let me start by saying the gentleman that helped me was an all-star. Unfortunately, I didn't get his name. A couple of weeks ago I noticed some material peaking out of the lobster clasp of my necklace. Unsure of what it was, I thought it was string material connected to the spring that was thinning or worse. My worst fear was that the string would tear, causing the spring to snap, leaving my chain fall off without me knowing. The gentleman inspected the clasp and immediately knew it was cloth from my t-shits getting stuck inside. Using tweezers, he pulled out the cloth and reassured me it was not an issue. He also informed me that due to the age of the clasp, and with normal wear and tear, it was thinning. He said to come back next year to thicken the clasp to prevent it from breaking on its own. Not only that, he oiled the lobster clasp and told me how to clean it to lengthen its life. In and out within 5 minutes. I will, without question, return for all of my jewelry needs. I was looking for a place that would be able to resize my bracelet since it was to big for me since it would be sliding up and down and wrist. I message Time 2 Fix and they told me that they were able to resize my bracelet. I was so happy since it is a Pandora Snake bracelet and I wasn't sure if anyone could do it. But, no they did do it. The two gentlemen at Time2Fix were the best! We came in to resize my engagement ring and they were able to do it within one hour. I had to go down 1/2 size and the gentlemen (Gary? Jerry? not sure of his name) told us in detail what to expect and some things to be aware of. For instance, they told us the resizing would cause a seam to form and to remove the seam they would need to dip it in rhodium. It costed us more but so worth it. They even tightened all the stones and cleaned the band for us. At the end, it costed $120 and good as new! You wont get scammed here, everyone really wants to help you and get what you need. I've been going to Time 2 Fix for years. I've added charms to a bracelet, had a vintage clock fixed, etc, and, most recently, I had a vintage ring plated in rhodium to make it white gold. This was the suggestion of the gentleman who works there. He even suggested a light coating versus a hard coating, since I don't wear the ring a lot and it would be cheaper. Refreshing honesty! Mike cleaned it and also secured a few stones that were loose and about to fall out. He walked me through each step of the process and what I loved about him was that he showed me the loose stones through a microscope. I saw it for myself and he was right they were about to fall out. I walked in and ended up needing 2 stones tightened. He was able to fix and clean my ring in 20-30 min and charged a very reasonable price!!! Not quality service when it comes brand eyewear. They were recommended by Costco since they couldn't fix my glasses. Gary said we are open on Sunday until 4:00PM and it will cost me $45.00( Saturday). They will call me once they have the parts to fix it. I waited until Tuesday and when I call them Gary told me " it will be $65.00". I didn't have time to pick up and I called again Gary told me " it will be $55.00". It will be ready Saturday, however when I showed up around 10:30 ish , Gary said repair person didn't come yesterday and it will be ready before 3:00PM. Gary called and I went to pick up my glasses. Now there is scratch on lenses and repair parts color is not matching with other side of the frame. When I informed Gary and I showed a picture that I took. Gary kept saying " we didn't scratch it and scratch was there"!!!! Nothing said about not matching repair on the frame. I called Costco and they recommended to write Yelp review. Please save your time and money, just go somewhere else where they can properly fix your items!!! read more
