They replaced the head in white gold, reset the original diamond, cleaned and polished the ring, and were very careful to preserve the vintage character of the setting. Just under $7K, and the work was very poor. I learned a great lesson ... NEVER call Kavoukian. Amazingly, he led me to believe I could trust him. I truly know I was robbed. Maybe he does good work on contemporary clocks of little value, however, don't call him for the clocks dating back into the 1800's.
