I am a chronic pho eater (1-2 times a week) and this is my new go to spot. I usually frequent other places but decided to give this neighborhood spot a try. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by the most friendly and kind gentlemen & the food and drink was much more reasonably priced than some others nearby, which I appreciate. There was also super accessible and easy parking. They have both indoor and outdoor seating which is perfect on a sunny Seattle day. Small unassuming Vietnamese place in interbay, ran by 2 cute old uncles. Dropped by for a weekend lunch. I ordered a pork vermicelli bowl at the counter and sat ourselves. Tea and water was self service which was nice. The food came out super quick, with aaaaample fish sauce, which I loved. The amount of meat is also crazy. For $10. Amazing. And the pork was super yummy. Standard other toppings like pickled carrots and radish, lettuce, bean sprouts, and cucumbers. I would've like a bit more vegetables, but still good. My main problem was the noodles :c the texture was super off, kinda like they had been sitting out to dry for many many hours. Some noodles were hard and inedible while the rest were just kinda crunchy. Not the texture you'd usually get from rice noodles. Overall, okay. I was so excited to try this place the other afternoon. After reading the great reviews, but I found the place just to be just average. Their pho broth was a little off I thought, it didn't have the usual flavor of the soup. I ordered the chicken egg rolls and was expecting them Vietnamese style, with lettuce and pickled dakon and carrots and fish sauce. What I got was deep fried Americanized Chinese egg rolls with sweet and sour sauce. A bowl was $7.50, so pricier than the average bowl of pho I am used too, but I see that as a trend here in Seattle, pho is a little more expensive here. Thumbs up for a self serve veggie side dish bar though. You get your own bean sprouts, limes, chili, and what not. Could've been better, but the service was friendly and parking is easy. read more

Just because the name of a self proclaimed vietnamese noodle soup joint contains 'pho' in the title, does not necessarily mean they have good pho. And in most cases, the silly play on words for the restaurant name makes it hard for me to take them seriously, and me question their legitimacy. All I ask for, especially when I have a cold, is some comfort food.... a pipping hot bowl of pho. I want tasty broth, good cuts of meat (rare steak and/or brisket), and fresh crisp toppings. I hate cheating on my favorite pho spots, but Time 4 Pho delivered all these things and I will definitely be back. No weird pho additions, just pho, just right. My regular sized bowl of pho was enormous. Filled to the top with slices of red rare meat and brisket on top of a bed of noodles. I love their self serve topping bar, load up on all the toppings you want! (which i did without wasting any). I don't see any downside to this place. I've been wanting to try this place since we moved too magnolia a few months ago. It's a 2 minute drive from our home and i always crave pho and never want to cook it at home. Went here for the first time for dinner. There was only one customer when we arrived. We ordered at the cash register and found a table. There's a cold self serve bar with all garnishes. I thought This was a great idea since i don't eat white onions but love green ones and if i say no onions, most pho places wont give either. This is cheaper than other pho places near magnolia. $7.50 for a bowl of pho where you can choose 2 types of meat. We both got large for a dollar more. they didn't have my favorite meat, fatty flank, but i don't expect any pho places Near downtown Seattle (other than china town) to carry this meat. The Seahawks game was on, so that was a nice bonus. The pho came and I am a creature of habit, so I try the broth first before I put anything in to gauge how much I have to "ruin" it. The broth was bland. It could've used a bunch more of all spices. It definitely needed a lot more beef bones. It was like water with a hint of pho. It was disappointing. There's a pho place next to my office in belletown where I pay $11/bowl for mediocre pho and this place was much worse. The large probably has the same amount of meat as the small but they just give you 2x the noodles. My bfs pho had tendon in it and it was not as soft as it's supposed to be and he is definitely not the type to criticize his food. My meat was very little. I think I had 8 slices total. The brisket was just ok. My bf looks over as I make 3 trips to the self serve garnish bar so I can add more and more things to my broth in order for it to taste decent enough to eat. I don't think I've ever had to put so much garnish and condiments in a bowl of pho, but I did also get a large, so the volume of broth I had to flavor was a lot more than my usual small bowls. Anyways, I don't think I'll be coming back. If rather drive over the Ballard bridge or go into belltown and pay the $11. An extra star for the self serve area and for having the seahawks on. I have had pho at probably over 100 restaurants in California and Washington. It's hard to choose the best bowl. But the worst is easy. This place. The broth tasted of nothing but salt. No herbs or aromatics. Not beef. Just saltwater. The beef (tai) smelled like it had been sitting out too long and once cooked in the soup tasted funny. I didn't eat it. The brisket tasted old, like the inside of a refrigerator. The bean sprouts were brown and slimy. They didn't bother to pick the cilantro off the stems. The noodles were overcooked mush. I only regret I got it to go because I would have loved to ask the waiter or cook to try it and tell me if they thought anything about this pho was remotely acceptable. Purely disgusting. What a great little pho spot in Seattle! The owner is so nice and the food was delicious. As my dad and I were sitting in the seating area to eat our meal, the owner came outside to give me two glasses of bubble tea for free - the first ones of the summer! I was honored! It was extremely sweet, but refreshing if you're a bubble tea fan. The only reason Time 4 Pho gets four starts as opposed to five is that my dad has a to-go pamphlet with the food options and prices listed that was out of date (we were expecting to pay a couple of dollars less than what was listed, but who knows how old the pamphlet was) and there were no copies with updates prices. But my god...you would've thought I ruined their entire workday with the way I was treated when I came to pick up my food. I was yelled at and interrogated with questions and scolded. "Are you the customer? Are you uber? Oh you ordered online and paid online!? Why would you do that!? That makes no sense! You made it so difficult for us! Next time you have to call! Don't order online anymore!! Here is your order!!" Super confused, very hungry and upset, I told the guy "sorry" grabbed my food and walked away since I already paid. The Egg rolls are disgusting because they are just those frozen egg rolls you can buy at the supermarket, like Chung's frozen egg rolls, and they even serve it with the little sweet + sour packet LOL. The Pho itself is a pho-king joke!! HaHah...the broth is soo dark and cloudy and tasted like soy sauce or something. Not right at all! I really enjoy this restaurant! Every time I've eaten here I've never been disappointed. Clean environment, bountiful toppings for your soup at an open bar which you can harvest as much as you like. I order the chicken Pho which has a pleasant taste to the broth and never stingy on the protein. I'm not a Pho connoisseur by all means, but I've been around the block and have sampled some that easily turned my stomach. The Pho here is adaptable in flavor of your preference; it's not too bland, nor too overpowering. Easily, however, my favorite is the chicken breast Teriyaki, which I get often as take-out with a side of dumplings. Well-cooked chicken, and plenty of it! Only complaint would be once in a while there's a stinginess with the sauce, but I simply ask for extra now which they comply. Love the mayo dressing they use for the salad. Seattleites may want to sit down for this, but I am not a huge fan of Pho. I come from the desert where hot liquids are the last thing you want 9-10 months out of the year. Boy did that change when I got to Seattle though (Snowpocalypse '08) and now I have learned that there is nothing better on a cold rainy day then a big bowl of Pho. When I come to Time 4 Pho, I get a bowl of rare steak Pho and the meat is always sliced perfectly so that it cooks itself just right in the heat of the savory broth. I have had Pho where this is not the case and nothing ruins your day more than over cooked, chewy beef in your bowl. Bonus points for the toppings bar full of tasty garnishes and spicy sauces! You don't have to rely on the meager plate of sad droopy add-ons they usually give you at other Pho spots. Pro tip: If you didn't come with cash, be prepared for a 50 cent surcharge for all card purchases. Time 4 Pho may have a very unfortunate name, but you will forgive them once you taste their great Pho. read more

Overall this place is okay. I'd go there if I lived in a city without good pho. Today I went there to get a pho with veggies and tofu. The person (I think proprietor) asked me, "Is chicken broth okay?" I'm ordering a veggie pho. It's not a logical leap to assume I want veggie broth. On the plus side, he did ask/clarify. The broth was incredibly bland. Its only flavor was a very sharp citrus, which made it taste like boiled lemon rinds. It was oddly not piping hot enough to cook the garnish. (I assumed his question about chicken broth was because they would need to make a small batch of veggie broth, which was clearly not the case.) I'm sad this is the closest pho place to where I live because I LOVE pho and the pho here is disappointing. Time 4 Pho has to my least favorite pho spot in. The only thing I like about this place is the veggie bar where you can add all the veggies you desire. I've never seen that at any other pho restaurant so props to them for being different. I've only had the pho there twice but both times it didn't meet my standards. Also the fresh spring rolls were below average. I regret buying them because they were overpriced for the quality...
