Legit the best pho broth in Seattle besides like homemade of course and I've been eating pho all my life as a Vietnamese person. For these prices you have to go get a bowl! Only about $11 for the standard sized bowl filled with lots of meat, pho noodles, broth, and more. You can get up to an X-large bowl for only $2-3 more. You cannot beat this price for this quality in Seattle! Pho Vietnam is located in Ballard and is super underrated so I always tell my friends about it. They have been open for more than 25 years! It's owned by a lovely older Vietnamese couple. They are super nice people! I have been coming here for almost 2 years now. It is actually the first pho place my boyfriend tried and he loves it too. I usually order a small bowl #14 or #15 on the menu because it comes with all the different kinds of meats they offer. Definitely a cute hole in the wall that will satisfy your noodle soup craving!

Hair in my food. They don't include red chillis or sriracha. This blows. I would not go back their Thai iced tea also doesn't include any cream.

Wonderful family-run restaurant and delicious pho! I got the pho with meat balls which hit the spot. Friendly and speedy service, spacious indoor space, and really good prices/portions. Definitely a local favorite, be sure to check them out!

Stopped by this place for a quick lunch at around 11:30 and the place started filling up around noon. It is located on a busy street but there are limited parking spots available in the back so super convenient! As soon as we sat down, we were able to put our order in and I swear the food came out within 5 mins of ordering. Spring rolls were pre made and put in the fridge before serving. Noodles inside were a bit hard and the lettuce didn't taste very fresh and wish I knew it didn't come with peanut sauce. For pho, we ordered two pho w brisket (L). Portion was very generous and price was reasonable compared to other seattle pho restaurants. Pho itself was good, but the sprouts, jalapeños, and basil she brought out on a separate plate were not fresh and looked like they were going bad (sprouts were brown, basil and jalapeños had some dark spots on them). I was not impressed with the quality of vegetables but pho itself was pretty good

I really loved this place. Simple pho that has delicious broth and they don't skimp on the meat. The prices are comparable if not better than other pho spots in Seattle which will definitely keep me coming back. The egg rolls came out very hot out of the fryer and tasted so good. Next time I'll get a drink too they're very affordable! Not much English spoken but that doesn't change the experience :) also no Amex accepted FYI

The small is large ... the large is huge ... the extra large will feed a crowd. This is top notch tasty Pho.

Absolutely delicious. You can't go wrong with any of the phos, they give a decent pile of beef slices and the broth is delicious. I always come out of a pho meal feeling light and refreshed. There are complimentary bean sprouts, thai basil, and lime slices. If you're debating whether to get the thai tea, GET IT. They do not skimp on the tea, it is very strong and comes with a dollop of sweet cream. Love this place and the owners are so kind!

I was so happy that this restaurant offers a good deal compared to other pho restaurants and they have a lot of various meats for pho. I was also surprised when I saw raw eye round steak to go at first lol Don't worry, they put the raw meat for you to enjoy the chewy:) Just be careful with the heating time otherwise it would be hard textures! The taste was amazing and although it was a small bowl, I felt very full from it! Enjoy their food.

I was a little underwhelmed seeing the plain white bread but one bite and I felt this combo was superior. Of course I mainly came for the perfectly picturesque green tea ice cream so I tried a matcha Mochi Parfait. It has House made matcha pudding and syrup, matcha ice cream, vanilla soft serve ice cream, corn flakes, red bean paste, mochi, and whipped cream. I'd never liked red bean in other desserts but together in this parfait it was amazing! 10/10, no notes.

I had a few questions because I couldn't decide what to order, and everyone was friendly and helpful - I was even able to add corn flakes to my matcha soft serve (which isn't listed on the menu), so it was nice to know I could customize it to my liking! The matcha tiramisu was the best I've had, and the hojicha latte with oat milk was just right. The flavor was nice and strong without being overpowering. Everything I had here truly stood out! I liked the variety on the menu and all of the different options. - it's extensive and you could find anything for everyone. It's one of the more memorable matcha spots I've been to, and I'd definitely stop by again the next time I'm in Seattle. If you love matcha like I do, definitely add this place to your list. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Unfortunately, our experience did not live up to the reputation. The clam chowder was just average. It wasn't bad, but it certainly wasn't memorable or deserving of the accolades we had read about. The slice of sourdough bread served with it was extremely dry and tasted stale, which was disappointing given Seattle's reputation for great sourdough. We also ordered the cod fish and chips, and the fish tasted like frozen, pre-breaded cod rather than fresh fish. The coating was crispy; although, the fish did taste fresh. Overall, we left feeling that the restaurant was overrated. We had expected a standout meal based on its reputation, but instead found the food to be average at best. While the service was fine and the line moved efficiently, we wouldn't make a point to return or recommend it as a must-visit dining experience in Seattle.

However I decided to check it out since it's a lot closer to where I live and was craving some sushi. Their selection isn't as big as FOB's but it's still very generous. This is a sushi by the pound place in SLU, but they also have a menu with variety of things such as udon, inari, chirashi, etc. The selection of fish you can choose from in the weigh your sushi section is not that big. They only have 2 high premium fishes available: otoro and amberjack. However you can only get 1 of each, which to me defeats the purpose. I also got a bulgogi inari and it was $5 / piece which is pricey. Another thing is that they use a lot of rice, too much rice. Service is ok, they ring you up and bring the food to you if you ordered through the menu. It's a very relaxing and chill area as well. The food we got was just ok but for the price, it's not worth it. I'm glad I tried but most likely will not be back.
