TLDR: Tastiest pho I've had in Seattle (so far) ! Bowl sizes: S, L, XL. Pho and drinks only on the menu. Great for families and large groups. As winter comes to an end, I'm excited to say I've found a pho place I love AND their Vietnamese coffee was delicious! Not too sweet and a deep coffee flavor. I got the #2 and the meat was tender. The broth was slightly sweet and chili oil, hoisin, and siracha were provided at the table. One lady took our order and served us and she was awesome ! Legit the best pho broth in Seattle besides like homemade of course and I've been eating pho all my life as a Vietnamese person. For these prices you have to go get a bowl! Only about $11 for the standard sized bowl filled with lots of meat, pho noodles, broth, and more. You can get up to an X-large bowl for only $2-3 more. You cannot beat this price for this quality in Seattle! Pho Vietnam is located in Ballard and is super underrated so I always tell my friends about it. They have been open for more than 25 years! It's owned by a lovely older Vietnamese couple. They are super nice people! I have been coming here for almost 2 years now. It is actually the first pho place my boyfriend tried and he loves it too. Stopped by this place for a quick lunch at around 11:30 and the place started filling up around noon. It is located on a busy street but there are limited parking spots available in the back so super convenient! As soon as we sat down, we were able to put our order in and I swear the food came out within 5 mins of ordering. Spring rolls were pre made and put in the fridge before serving. Noodles inside were a bit hard and the lettuce didn't taste very fresh and wish I knew it didn't come with peanut sauce. For pho, we ordered two pho w brisket (L). Portion was very generous and price was reasonable compared to other seattle pho restaurants. Pho itself was good, but the sprouts, jalapeños, and basil she brought out on a separate plate were not fresh and looked like they were going bad (sprouts were brown, basil and jalapeños had some dark spots on them). There are complimentary bean sprouts, thai basil, and lime slices. If you're debating whether to get the thai tea, GET IT. This pho place has been here on Ballard/ crown hill area for as long as I can remember! The last time I came in was when I was in high school! My boyfriend and I recently moved back to crown hill and we had been craving pho and this spot is on our way home so we decided to give it a try again! You can't beat the prices of this place, very affordable and the soup itself is very good. There's a variety of pho for everyone and their drink menu was awesome! The only reason I'm giving 4 stars and not 5 is that they no longer serve the cream puffs! All while they have in big letters on their window it says "free desert" and all over their menus they have cream puffs listed so I had gotten my hopes up when we came to the end of our dinner and we were going to buy cream puffs to take home but they don't have them anymore unfortunately. So the false hope got me a little disappointed but that doesn't take away from the main part of the meal which is the pho! You get your soup pretty fast and it comes out hot with your usual side plate of add in toppings like any pho place. I wanted to try a new pho spot so I chose this one because it was close to my home. It was pretty standard pho. Nothing that makes me want to go back, but it did the trick. I also ordered boba tea. The boba was stale or undercooked, and the straw wasn't the correct size so I wasn't able to slurp the boba through the straw. My strategy to enjoy this purchase was to get the boba stuck at the bottom of the straw and then eat it off the end. I was an amateur at first and spilled coconut boba all over. There seemed to be a lot of phone orders though. They have parking in the back, their lot is right next to a bar.
