    Lovely pho place. Cant wait to go back on a moody rainy day in seattle. The atmosphere is very inviting. It's an order at the counter, self serve toppings sort of place and its just how I like it! I love being able to pick out how much of each topping i would like in my pho. The pho flavor was very delicious, as someone who has recently been to Vietnam, I can attest to it tasting true to the source.

    Finally came to try this place after passing by it a lot. Portion sizes were generous. The service was super friendly and speedy. It was pretty busy but everything came out fast. Interior is clean and spacious. Got the shrimp spring rolls and they were good. The peanut sauce was extra peanut buttery. Also both got #3s and the brisket was the best part. The broth flavor was soooo good but my noodles were a little soggier than i like it. Also got the hawaiian lemonade and i would say this is pretty unique as I haven't seen it at other places. Lemonade with pineapple juice and lihing powder. Would come back!

    I love this spot. Order at the front, take a number to your table and wait for the goodness to arrive. I ordered the vermicelli noodle bowl with tofu, it was everything I look for in a vermicelli noodle bowl-hearty, flavorful, and fresh. The service is great, water is available at the front, the restaurant is spotless. Nice people here, we'll return.

    The pho is tasty! A bit on the salty side for me though. Wouldn't say it's the best pho but it's pretty good for seattle i think. They're also pretty skimpy on the meat and the meatballs were more like meat slices which is interesting We had to stand around to wait for a table after ordering but the wait wasnt long for a holiday. Just felt like we were in the way while standing since there's not much room inside

    Food was delicious, service was top notch and ambiance was just fine for some pho. The Beef Pho Chin was excellent, what took it to the next level was their incredible peanut chili oil (all flavor, minimal spice). The side cart of lime, been sprouts and mint helped too I also got to try the Beef Banh Mi. This was delicious!! Loved everything about it, especially the garlic mayo Lastly I had their Hawaiian Lemonade. Again delicious and another item I'd recommend to order. If I was a local to the area, I'd be here weekly

    Love this pho place!! The broth is good and comes out piping hot! The toppings bar is such a great idea..first time I've seen that and it just makes sense! It's an easy and fast place to get your pho fix. Cute bathroom too lol

    Unlike other pho places, Lucky's is more of a self-served restaurant where you pay for your order up front, find your own table, and even getting your own greens of choice (bean sprouts, basil, lime), but they bring out the dishes to you. I came here on Sunday right after they opened, and it was already pretty crowded. The service was very quick though. I was able to get my pho within minutes after I ordered. I got the #5 which had a mix of beef. It was delicious! I'm usually not a soup person but the broth was very good. It was rich in flavor but not too greasy. The beef wasn't the best quality but solid. I'd come back and try their bahn mi and iced viet coffee!

    We both really liked our pho. This was probably one of my fave veggie phos I've had in Seattle and I've tried a lot. You order up front and then they bring it to your table. The toppings are at a bar in the front to self serve. They do have vegan or dairy free Thai tea with boba too! It's a smaller spot and can get busy so get there early so you don't have to wait on a table to free up.

    Wow-we stopped by for lunch today in the vibrant, Fremont area of Seattle on a very cold & sunny day. There was a steady stream of customers and we were happy to have ordered and found a table for four. Three of the four ordered Pho while I ordered the vermicelli noodle salad with chicken. As my husband said "yours was so good that I wished I had ordered it but then my pho was so good I would have been disappointed if I had not ordered it" so you see, it was a win win.

    Although the place was small and busy, it was very clean! The staff bused tables right away; so, we just waited a few minutes for a table. The Pork Banh Mi and Pho Ga were amazingly delicious. The Banh Mu was warm, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The vegetable broth in the Pho was perfect for our taste, not salty. They provided condiments to add to your soup or any order. We recommend this little place a "must taste"

    I've been going to this pho place for the past year and they have been consistent in the past. However, in my recent experience (mid-march 2024), their broth was not it. I am not sure if this was a one time event but I'll update if I ever go back. Stomach got a little upset after eating here on that one time interesting broth. The size is definitely generous and we had hard time finishing it. I noticed a lot of people asked for to go boxes.

    A bit overpriced. But the pho is good, the space is clean and aesthetically pleasing, and the staff are nice.

    One of the best pho spots in North Seattle. Gets busy around peak times but I never have to wait too long for a table.

Since my last review the restaurant has closed and reopened, and expanded their menu, to now include more dumplings and varieties of noodles. They also now have a very handy duo of ordering kiosks, which you order at prior to sitting down. I found their kiosks easy to use, which isn't always a given. This being my first visit back in a while, I had to get the spicy cumin lamb biang biang noodles. However I had to try some dumplings, so we shared the lamb dumplings, while my dinner buddy had the spicy cumin lamb rice noodle soup (the same kind of noodles you'd get at a ten second yunnan noodle type of place). They also now have a complimentary side dish bar that has seaweed salad, peanuts, and kimci, as well as some condiment type things like scallions and minced garlic. I helped myself to some seaweed salad to nibble on while waiting for our food, and it was good although food comes out quickly enough that you don't necessarily have to rely on it unless you're really chomping at the bit. The spicy cumin lamb biang biang noodles are just as good as I remember. The biang biang noodles here are perfectly chewy, and the rest of the dish has a lovely flavor aside from just spice. They're generous with lamb and cabbage which add a lot of textural variety to the plate. The lamb dumplings were the sleeper hit of the meal, filled with juicy, tender hunks of lamb surrounded by toothsome clearly hand-rolled wrappers. Absolutely do not skip the lamb dumplings. My dinner buddy really enjoyed her rice noodle soup with spicy cumin lamb, which I think would be a great option on a cold day. Everything is pretty much self serve here, so don't expect full service -- although they did stop by to refill our water once. The food here is so good, though, and prices are so reasonable, that I truly do not care that the experience is pretty bare bones otherwise.

Two hairs - one in my kaisen champon, one in my partner's niku udon. A dead bug in the niku udon. A staff member walking the floor actively bleeding from his nose with a napkin stuffed into it. Any one of these on its own would have been a rough night. All three in the same meal is something else ‍ The kitchen is small and open so you can see and hear everything, which meant we also got a front row seat to the chef yelling at his staff multiple times throughout the evening. The team was clearly working hard and seemed genuinely understaffed, but the kitchen felt like it was coming apart at the seams. We were in line to order for about five minutes, during that time we heard the employee at the register say to the man in front of us that there is no more summer special cold udon flight. Bummer, but totally understand. The menus are acrylic boards at the ordering counter, there were two for the two specials and they were left up when we went to order. The employee told me that unfortunately they have run out of the other special (not the flight). She turned around to do something else for a bit, came back, so I ordered the flight and she said they don't have that either. LOL okay!! No worries! I asked if any of the udon can be made cold? She asked the head chef. He yells back that he has no time for this. Like a good one minute lecture, yelling at the staff. Fine we like each other enough to spend time with each other and can clearly see it is chaos in the kitchen. We get our food. We didn't get utensils with our food, and were told "I'll grab utensils for you, sorry about that" So we just sat there waiting for utensils. Food is good but there are hairs and a bug ‍ During our time waiting the water wasn't ever filled (it's self serve) so after our food came I asked for water three times, kept getting "I'll refill it". The chawanmushi showed up 20+ minutes after our food, basically as we were finishing. And they don't have to-go containers, which fine, but worth knowing. I've given this place real chances. Last night felt like a hygiene issue, an understaffed kitchen, and a service breakdown all stacked on top of each other. Usually we go during lunch so maybe that's my recommendation moving forward - I'm giving this place a rest from the rotation for now.

The wontons are very very good, stuffed with flavorful pork and swimming in a sauce that sits in that perfect spot at the intersection of hot and sour. The peanuts and scallions add a delightful crunch. Their beef chow fun satisfies every bit of childhood nostalgia I have for this dish, with lots of wok hei, bouncy noodles, and the most tender of beef. I think my favorite beef chow fun in the city still lives at A+ Hong Kong Kitchen, but this is a close second. The portion here is also huge. The start of the journey began with the requisite parking fiasco and issues that are perpetual in the Seattle ID...but that should never, and I mean never, stop an important mission like finding a truly delicious noodle restaurant. Our Calamari came out quick and was delicious to the point I nearly had to fight my son for the last piece. I quickly surrendered as he does stab people...see above...he parried my fork and stabbed the last piece before quickly finishing the move. Our mains came out shortly after we finished the calamari. The 14yo ordered beef brisket noodle soup. He said it was delicious, but too spicy after he added too much chili oil. The wife scoffed at the idea that there's such a thing as too much chili oil and ate some of his soup. This was after she dug into her hot pot. I did get a chance to sample the delicate pork pieces and the flavorful rice. The slightly crispy rice at the bottom of the pot were so delicious. I had the Singapore style fried noodles. Really tasty. The noodles had so many flavors from the vegetables to the meats (shrimp, chicken meat & egg, and pork) and the sauce.
