It's closed at most locations. Found a different place to get my watch battery replaced

I had a watch that was running slow so I decided to give this shop a try for a battery replacement. I went in, the lady at the counter was so sweet and said it would only take 15 min and I could come back. She told me it cost $12 and I was just like wow, that's a good deal. I came back picked it up and basically was elated at how good the service and price was! I haven't found prices that low except maybe in Chinatown in the city! I blasted it on my IG telling local friends about how awesome this place was for battery replacements! I put my foot in my mouth because the next day I noticed the second-hand on my watch had gotten unhinged and was flying everywhere in my watchface. I definitely did not have any issues with my watch until after my battery replacement so I was bummed I would have to go back to get them to fix it. I go back 3 days later and tell them the situation and they tell me, you left the store we cannot be liable. My watch had no issues prior to this and I know having to hinge the second-hand isn't a crucially difficult repair but I wanted some acknowledge of poor workmanship on their part! They tell me it would cost $35 to repair bc it would need to get shipped out of the store. My watch is not new nor that nice to spend $47 all-in-all for what was originally a battery replacement. I decided not to make the repair. Not worth it, better to just put the $ into a new watch altogether. Not satisfied with their poor customer service and their unwillingness to even refund the battery replacement. I get a broken watch and more of a hassle just having had them work on it. They just lost what would have been a loyal customer if their workmanship and customer service would have been better. Really is a shame, I'm more upset about that. Not worth coming to potentially get your watch broken for a cheap battery fix. read more

Time After Time - See the second hand has become unhinged. - Watches Near Me - King of Prussia, Pennsylvania

This review is specifically regarding Time After Time's watch repair business (they also sell watches, I just haven't bought any from them). My mother, father, and I have all had watches repaired by Time After Time. The employees are always easy to work with and fair with repair costs. They've repaired new watches, 15 year old Swiss movement watches, as well as a vintage Elgin pocket watch (150+ yrs old). They usually have a pretty fast turn around too. The vintage watch only took a week tops because they had to order some parts which was to be expected. Depending on what you need they can turn around a service request in minutes or same day. Would recommend them for service repair on any style watch. read more

Professional and friendly staff. Rachel was informative & helpful. Nick was a great help and cared about an issue that arose. Great selwnd price selection. Only four stars due to the fact that no tracking information was provided and they forgot to send us a receipt but Nick quickly solved that issue. Would purchase from there again. read more

Replaced battery and sealed watch nicely. Service was better, more polite and friendlier than at the Tag Heuer dealer in the model. I will return next time my watch needs service. read more

I took a collector's edition Doctor Who watch in for repair because the straps on the band were breaking/had broken through wear and tear. I left the watch with them and 20 minutes later returned to find a new strap had been installed. They explained that the band was of an unusual size, and the strap was not the "correct fit" but that it would work for now. I was happy with the fix nonetheless and shocked when they refused to accept payment because it wasn't the perfect fix! Friendliness, professionalism, and generosity will have me recommending this shop to friends and coming to them with any future watch-related issues I encounter. read more

I would like to report that I had the most horrific experience in this store at the King of Prussia Plaza then I have ever had in my life for a real watch repair I took a vintage Timex watch not a very expensive watch in there for a new stem and Crown and gave them Specific Instructions it was a two-tone gold and silver watch with a white dial and it looked like any Bell which is a very expensive watch and I wore this for work I am a customer who has many watches and expensive watches such as Rolex so this was my friend watch for work well they didn't use genuine Timex watch parts the Lost crown and stem was gold and barrel-shaped they put a silver one on it and proceeded to polish all the gold off of the watch which when it was returned didn't look anything like it did when it went in it look like a cheap worthless nickel watch not like the Ebel watch it represented before which is why I bought it in the first place because it was cheap and it was beautiful so to make a very long arduous story shorter say bye to me and said that they didn't polish it they charged $200 for that but truth be told they took it upon himself to make the watch look like the silver crown which if they would have used Timex watch Parts they would have put the right one on which was gold so they threw in the watch and they seemingly have no intention of replacing it or owning up to their mistake these things are sent to their repair shop which I don't know where that is but the simple fact that they lie they don't communicate well among each other normally if there's a question from the repair shop they contact the store which contact the customer to see if they should go through with whatever if they can't get the genuine part none of that was disclosed to me you're very duplicitous people in there they don't take pride in their work they don't stand by their work they have no empowerment to satisfy the customer I come from the world of Nordstrom where we go out of our way to a piece of customer and if we make a mistake with something anything we replace it or repair it or just get the customer a new one they don't possess any of those qualities I would never ever recommend this place to anyone even for a watch battery they're duplicitous and their business practices they don't stand by anything they don't guarantee anything and they're very rude and impolite horrible horrible sales people they should all be fired and find a different line of work they don't belong in the customer service industry especially at that high class King of Prussia Mall their service has no place in that mall and for the rich well-heeled clientele that shop there they're disgusting and deplorable a zero is my rating of this store and absolute Ground Zero rating read more

I took my father's watch here for an overhaul. After a great conversation with Ricky, I agreed to let Time After Time do the work for this watch to become operational. It was a watch with an automatic movement from the 80's and for some reason it would only run for about 45 seconds and then stop, so I was very much so relying on Time After Time to fix it. I came back after they called me and I picked up the watch from the friendly associates there. The price was well worth it. I was so happy in that moment! They replaced the crystal and did everything they said they were going to do. It has been some time now and I'm just getting around to writing this review. The watch is still running perfectly! I have recommended this specific location to all of my friends and family for service & repairs. They also have a decent selection of what I would call "gift watches" (although I do wear a G-Shock 5600 occasionally). I respect their business and realize that not every kiosk can sell Rolex and Omega. I'd like to see them offer less Invictas and Kenneth Cole and offer more along the lines of Tissot and Hamilton - and maybe even have a 'Vintage Swiss' section in the future.
