I was not thrilled with the food today. We usually get the hot and sour soup and it was not hot and it wasn't spicy. It was barely warm. I'm glad I didn't just get the soup bar. I had the Mongolian chicken and hubby had the daily special, General Tso Chicken. His was not hot. As far as temperature, mine was okay. As a special, his was only a dollar cheaper than mine. I have been coming to this restaurant since the 90s. I cant believe I am having to write this bad review. The owner needs to change things before they lose their legacy. No green onions for soup inside. They are cheap what is the problem? Important for taste. Cashier is always super friendly. We ordered walnut shrimp and the waitress brought out a plate drowning in sauce. She noticed it and commented on it but didn't care enough to fix it. My daughter couldnt even eat it because everything was soggy and unappealing. The rice looked like soup. The food was literally falling off the plate because of all the sides and how badly it was plated. (See pics) Waitress should have said something to cook. But she didnt care she also gave us a plate of panda express fortune cookies that were crushed and opened (see pics). Staff should care about good service. My daughter ordered the chicken chop suey and got shrimp. The waitress took it back to change it and then her and cook started arguing about it loud enough where we could hear it. We get the chicken chop suey and there is nohing but huge peices of onion, celery mixed in with a few mushrooms. The couple of pieces of chicken that we did find were white, slimmy and just gross. We have ordered it before so my daughter was looking forward to it. This place has gone down hill. I'm getting bad food more often than good. If owner is seeing decline in profit its because of inconsistencies and poor food quality. If you bring back food to former glory everytime, I would gladly pay more. But for me to pay $60 and get gross food, I wont be going back. Sad this was one of my favorite restaurants. We used to spend 80-100 here weekly when it was good. read more

Giving 4 star bc of the young girl in the front(3 for the food) she was so friendly when taking my order over the phone and also when I got there to pay. Food isn't bad but not the best, but man do they get ur order out quick. So u can hear everything from the kitchen so my recommendation to them is that they might wanna watch what they say bc again u can hear it all. We got several items, the mi filial beef had so much more peppers and onions than it did actual beef and the sesame chicken had more nodules and rice than chicken. And they have white rice instead of fried. Would go again but Prob stick to what we typically order. read more

I have been ordering from this Wok Inn location for many years, foods always has been good. Today though, picked up order, they left out 1 of 2 egg rolls from order. Food is excellent and flavorful, the lunch servings are large so bring a appetite. I love they're pad Tai combo and Singapore noodles. If you dine in there is an unlimited soup bar, as well as table service. Friendly staff clean dining area. If I have one complaint it would be that the vinyl on the seats need to be redone, as many are cracked. read more

Update!!!! They finally got it right!!! My dish to Wok inn is Singapore noodles. This dish is with curry spices and rice noodles should not be soggy. Well, well, well, they got it right!!! I am so glad because I love this dish. I am also glad that their portion is worth it. I just want to add that their ginger chicken wonton is awesome. I love their sizes too. I would say I would buy it here than in Potranco area. The Potranco restaurant's ginger chicken wonton is half the size. I just want to say Thank You for making the recipe right!!!! read more

That's the reason I've been a customer for years. Whenever I'm in the area for work, Wok Inn is always considered for lunch. The food is always prepared fresh and consistently good. The lunch specials are hard to beat, includes rice, egg roll, soup of choice & drink. There's also an option for a combination lunch meal for the days you're extra hungry. With the current COVID-19 situation, everything is served in "to go" containers, even if dining in. All of my dining experiences have been great here . The staff is always genuinely friendly. The only complaint I have is Wok Inn has raised my egg roll standards! Lol Whenever I have a good egg roll craving, I know where to go. read more

Let me start by saying, we have been coming here for over 30 years. Grissom In the past few years it has slowly been going downhill. My usual is lemon chicken, fried rice and egg roll with hotNsour soup. It never fails. Lately too much fat on the chicken and not crispy enough. My other go Toni's beef and broccoli, sauce has gotten way too salty. Tea which is always delicious, was not made. They ran out and customers had to wait. I thinks tea should always be ready!? For 5 adults the bill was 57 bucks , not too bad I guess since everything is going up. My suggestion: check the tea and have another brewing if you are almost out. Taste your sauces and make sure everything is cooked thoroughly. Of course we will probably go again but to the Alamo Ranch one. I just think they are more on the ball. Which was the lunch of the day (beef and broccoli) and sweet and sour pork. The food was great and I had leftovers to take for dinner. The waitress has been there for a long time, and she's still ever so sweet and attentive. My only complaint was that the egg drop soup (that's unlimited and comes with the lunch) was not hot. We were pleased with the food we got and their menu is now on our fridge for next time. We got the Mongolian Beef, Chicken Teriyaki, and Pork Lo Mein entrees. All of them come with a rice and a soup. We substituted all of the rice for fried rice and got 3 different soups for variety. There was plenty of food and leftovers! The flavors were good, though a little bit salty. But its Chinese takeout, that's what we expected. It's by no means authentic, but it is good for a lazy night in. I'm warning you.. there is a LOT of oil! Don't go there ! I had gotten 2 times food from there and d it was ok but yesterday I ordered the chicken cashew and it was disgusting! The chicken was only half cooked and the sauce was just watery with no flavor whatsoever and the fried rice was super dry . Not to forget I ordered the menu and they didn't give me my drink . I've been a frequent visitor of this Wok Inn ever since I was little and I thought I'd have to give it up for good when I went vegan but they added tofu to the menu fairly recently! :D The staff here has always been sweeter than pie and there's regular chicken tenders and french fries you can order for picky kids which I think is really nice. My only complaint would have to be that their tofu isn't as crispy as I would like it to be. :( It's still a nice pick me up especially when there's nothing else close to my house to eat but it would earn five stars from me if the tofu had a little more texture or breading. read more
