There were 5 employees and we were the only people in the store and still had to wait. We went to buy Mom an iPhone 17 for her 100th birthday. She still owed less than a dollar on her old phone and they were not able to let us pay it early and get the phone. They didn't care at all. Totally indifferent. If you want any customer service at all go somewhere else. They suggested we buy a phone from Best Buy and bring it in. Easy to cancel over the phone. Lime was fast inside the store. These are the only positives I've noticed. Always had outages. Upon returning the router and equipment today they informed us they had installed the wrong router for the plan we chose which is why we never got fast internet. Sister was put in a nursing home. Went in to pay her bill and discontinue cable, internet and to down grade phone. Girl who waited on me took the money and then informed me that nothing could be done on her phone for another 24 hours. She was rude and not helpful at all & doesn't need to be in Customer Service. I went back in to turn in all the equipment and they refused to take the phone. Said that she still owes for the phone and they would not take it. Who does this to a Senior Citizen? HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! This is my first time coming in to the store to return my equipment and the customer service was horrible! I was not greeted at the door nor was I told to sign in. Once I saw people signing in I asked why was I not told to do the same. The employee had a bad attitude as if I did something wrong. I simply asked could I be next since I was before everyone that came in after me and she walked off. I told her I need to return my equipment and her response was "you can take it to UPS" while moving it off her counter. I asked for a manager and he/she never came out. I spoke with the assistant manager and she told me I would be taken care of next , which took over 45 mins. This location needs to be trained on customer service or be shut down. I'm not sure of the name of the rude employee because they do not wear badges, the employee is a Hispanic female , average height and the other employee is a Caucasian female average height. There was 3 employees working, 2 were helping people when we walked in and the third one was maybe just getting there, he was just standing around. This is a notice to all spectrum internet service technicians near the Dallas area. I'm going to have your head once I find out which person came to my parents home to do a service call for an internet outage that lasted an entire 24 hours. Also, this service technician told my dad that the device I installed was "outdated" and they don't use it anymore. The device is called a MOCA POE filter. The tech said that it was blocking the signal when I had it running for at least a week straight with zero interference. He detaches the filter and tells my dad that we don't need the filter and that it belongs to spectrum...okay smart mf if it's so outdated and worthless to you or spectrum why the fuck did you take it from my home you dirty bastard. You did not pay for it and neither did spectrum. All you had to do was detach it and leave it on the counter and say I would not recommend using this because it interferes with the overall signal. But no, this dirty pos stupid punk mf takes something that he nor his company purchased. That's theft you bastard. Moved into a new neighborhood and got Spectrum fiber. We installed our service on 6/27. Since then, we have had, at best, 2 days of continuous internet at any point in time. We have spent more time without internet than with internet since our service was installed. We have had 5 separate technician appointments to resolve our issue, yet we still have no internet. The problems seem to be neighborhood-wide, yet not a single technician, supervisor, or customer service agent has any clue when it will be resolved. $70/month for the worst internet experience I've ever had in my life, and I thought comcast was bad. The sheer ineptitude, ignorance, and sluggishness is astounding, even for what you'd expect out of a cable/internet provider. I can only hope they go completely out of business someday. read more

Do Not use Spectrum Mobile Spectrum allows their representatives help people steal phones from hardworking individuals. I allowed my daughter to take her number, but she was to give me MY phone back that I had been paying for for many years - among replacements and cracked screens. Somehow her father convinced the representative to repeat my account number and PIN number out loud. I kept telling her to stop and told her specifically the number ONLY, not the phone. I never got my phone back. When I talked to the "manager" she acted clueless and refused to listen to the conversation they say is always recorded. read more

I have had their service for two months and have called over 20 times due to failures of internet or cable. I have had 4 technician visits and my internet still drops 2 -8 times a day. The supervisor at this location, Sue, is VERY unprofessional. I asked the associate how much to switch to the Streaming service, and the supervisor gave me a price that didn't make any sense. She said that the Streaming service would cost more than having Cable + DVR + 2 Standard Boxes. My honest reaction was "Are you sure you know what you're doing?", in the most respectful way possible. She was very condescending and said "Ma'am, we're not going to sit here and make things up!" I never said anything about her making things up. She continued to speak to me with an attitude, she wouldn't let me finish my sentences and talked over me. Apparently she thinks that because she is the supervisor she doesn't have to be professional, and can speak to customers any way she wants. As I was leaving I asked her for her name, she said "Sue" with a snarky attitude and sarcastically shouted "Have a good day!" She is the most unprofessional and rude supervisor I have ever met. She needs a lot more training. The two associates that worked on my account were more professional and polite than the supervisor! I discussed my account with Corporate. Do not use Spectrum cable if you can avoid it. Their service is terrible. Service employees are useless. I intend to cancel my service as soon as I can make other arrangements. Their internet service is so slow it takes me at least 45 minutes to get on the internet. I began using cable years ago with Time Warner and by osmosis wound up with Spectrum. They automatically deduct my monthly charges like clockwork from my bank account. This morning my cable went out and they sent a service employ to repair the cable. When he discovered that my husband had passed away he refused to repair the cable until I went and had the service put in my name. It did not matter that I had been a customer for years and my account was never delinquent he would not repair the cable until I made the change that he wanted. He stated this was company policy. My good record had no bearing on the issue; nor did the fact that I am 83 years old and handicapped. They treated me like I was a criminal. Spectrum internet is a joke. They start you out at 44.99 then jump to 64.99. When you don't have internet service they will not prorate your service. When you cancel their service at the end of your service date you have to pay for the next month even though you do not have their service for the next month- Spectrum is a money hungry greedy monster. They do not care about the consumer - the only want the almighty dollar - they damaged my property - but I don't see them paying to fix my ceiling for my wall for the damage their insaller did not do I see an apology either. Please stay away from the store in Mesquite Texas they will steal your money! They are thieves! The store manager Hispanic woman that works in the evening is a crook. I was in that store on October 14 around 4:30 in the evening. I want to check out Mobile services. We decided that in iPhone 7 was a good fit for me. They quoted me a price on a postit I asked her when I get a copy of the receipt Once I complete my transaction. She stated that no I will not get a receipt I would have to check my email. Once I got home I was able to pull up my account to pull up my email. The price that Billed me was wrong. At that point the store was closed. I contacted customer service if I could rectify the problem. Customer service does not care. I asked the store manager twice how much was the taxes in my bill and she stated that I needed to check my email once I get home. I took it as a good faith that the price I could make would be billed to my card. They lied. I went back to the store to talk to the manager so I could return the phone. They would not give me all of my money back. I shared with the store manager stating that the store steals peoples money. I did tell them that I was going to reach out to Community and let them know that they practice fraud. Please stay away from the store if you're interested in mobile services. One star because I can't give zero especially being told by Ryan the supervisor that if I want to take my business else where when I didn't have service for 5 days which I was charged for, in addition to being charged other fees that were not revealed to me before billing. BEWARE of all the additional charges and the poor service. I have been hung up on multiple times because they love to put you on hold and then can't get you back I guess or maybe it is intentional.
