I've been coming here since I moved to Orange County 6 years ago, and I honestly won't go anywhere else. From full sets to pedicures, everything always comes out beautiful and lasts so well. My nails looked like wide eggs. The tech told me it was because my natural nail base is wide and that they "would've looked better longer"--something they absolutely should have advised me on before starting. Because I had my 3-year-old daughter with me (who also got a paid service), I left and called them from the car. They explicitly told me to come back and they would redo them. When I drove all the way back, they flipped the script. They refused to redo them because I left the store. I asked for a simple reshape instead; they said yes on the phone, but once I walked in, they refused again, saying it would make them look worse. It wasn't until I demanded they just take them off completely that they finally agreed to reshape them. Please look at my media. The photos show they look way better after the reshape (going from wide houses to almond), meaning they lied to me just to avoid fixing their mistake. Furthermore, the video shows the terrible application: the nails are angled upward instead of flat, and the pinky is totally crooked. It is a horrible feeling to be treated this poorly by a business you have supported for years. Never again. You first said you could redo them and then said you couldn't. Leo didn't not want to reshape them till I told him to remove them. You did absolutely nothing to help in this incident and only embarrassed me as a customer. Do not come in here talking about policy when you disrespect your clients. Shame on you for your poor response and service.

However, as veterans and veterans' wives, it is important to us to support a veteran-owned business whenever feasible. I was surprised by how few veteran-owned nail salons there were, so when I found Trendy Nail & Spa, I knew that was the place. I stopped by in person to make a reservation for four. The owner was was incredibly welcoming, and even though they were fully booked on what looked like a very busy Saturday, he made room for my group. From the moment I walked in, the vibe was warm, welcoming, and relaxing. Even with a full salon, the place never felt rushed or chaotic. Everyone was friendly, professional, and were genuinely happy to be there, which I knew it would contribute to my friends' experience to be even more enjoyable. The ladies had an amazing time, and their manicures and pedicures turned out absolutely beautiful. The attention to detail and customer service were outstanding. This place gets a 10 out of 10 from our military family. If you're looking for a salon with great people, a great atmosphere, and top-notch service, Trendy Nail & Spa is the place to go. Semper Fi! Tracy wanted to charge extra for nail cutting during an acrylic fill. I have been doing my nails for years, and never have I been charged for that. Not to mention my nails didn't even need to be cut much. Maybe a centimeter or two since they were already short to begin with. I agreed to pay the extra for nail cutting just so she could continue, but I could tell she was upset since I questioned her pricing. To break the awkwardness, I was just playing on my phone. Texting my friend, checking on my son's baby monitor etc. Tracy then blindly accused me of posting on yelp, yelling at me saying I'm trying to ruin her business, that I will have bad luck because I'm doing this, etc. I told her I wasn't on yelp at all and she just continued to yell and scold me. It was crazy. I could tell she creates such a toxic work place for her workers. I hope the very sweet pedicure lady finds new employment. She was extremely kind and gentle to me. How they have so many positive reviews is beyond me. If you take time to scroll, you can see they also have multiple negative reviews due to hygiene issues, causing infections, appointment issues, customer service issues, and others who have had issues with Tracy directly. There are also tons of fake yelp reviews that yelp does not recommend. You can access those at the very bottom. Reviews from accounts that have no other reviews and no yelp friends. I debated on whether or not I was going to post this, but nobody deserves to be treated the way Tracy treated me based on a blind assumption. Please think twice about coming here. For your physical health and your mental health.
