Here we were, chatting up the shop clerk, when lo and behold I find me a copy of Vampire Hunter D. Now I know the game is kinda crappy, but I had to have it for my collection of rarities. When I went to a local store to get refunded for the new but opened games and the sealed new game, the clerk called the manager, who said OK to issue the refunds on my three items, until the clerk called back and told they were purchased with PayPal credit, for which the returns and refunds were then denied by the manager of the local store. When I called customer service, the agent said the computer was slow and after waiting about ten minutes, he hung up on me.

I can definitely not recommend selling to this business as they low-ball you to the extreme. They use excuses about how long it may take to resell the items you have but this is true for most of the items that they have in stock. I mean, come on, it's a collectables store! After today's experience I don't see myself returning there to buy or sell. I used to look online for various items (like model kits, etc.) and once I found something I wanted I'd drive over to Collector's Marketplace to see if they had it in stock first. You know, trying to support local business. I spent literally thousands that way. I'm afraid those days are over.

Polyhedron is a wonderful store! The staff are friendly and engaging and have a real passion for games. They stay open late and host a variety of regular game nights. The store has a wide selection of games from TTRPG to board to card. You'll find Pokemon, Magic, DnD, Shadowrun, Star Wars, and much more. And the accessories! They have their own branded products, which I found an excellent business model. On my next visit, I want to come over one evening and play a game with these fun people.
