My hubby had Indian food before and said that I should try it after we left the Convention Center this past weekend. I was willing to give it a try. The food was actually really good. You could pick your spice level from 0-10. Of course I chose 0, lol. We got three entrees: Lamb Madrass $20.95, Shrimp Madrass $20.95 and Butter Chicken $18.95. They were all tasty, but portions were kind of small. It did come with Basmati Rice. We also ordered two Garlic Naan $4.50 each to share. It was garlicky and crispy around the edges. I actually really liked the food. It had great flavor from all the seasonings and wasn't spicy at all.

The stuffed naan was sooo good, such a great twisted to regular naan and so many different flavors of it to try! It pairs great with your curry dish as well. My chicken curry was sooo flavorful and they added just the right kick of spice for me! Which is super spicy! Maybe not the best ambiance as we sat in the parking garage as cars drove by, but that didn't stop me from loving my food. Service was good, food came out fresh and hot so I can't complain. I was craving a coffee, as I was tired from work but they don't serve it, so I just hydrated on water instead.

I have a key likes of dishes but this places service is very lacking. One time I ordered food and they cancelled it an hour later. Wtf... if you run out cancel right away and turn off your service! Wait is horrible. Nobody called to apologize or try to modify the order. Never been here in person. Only ordered delivery. Will check out in person one day...

It basically is one of the vendors in the food hall and you order and eat at one of the shared tables. Has to be as authentic as it gets. They have a pretty good selection. Basically it gives a few choices of what to get. It's got enough things for various flavors and preferences. They have options to get one, two, or three items of whatever. A lot are made with meat but there's some that aren't. It's $12 to get one item. Taro And Squash Fusion was the one for vegans. Items change up daily so keep on checking back. The food hall can have a bad smell like fish but it's not always like this. Also there's some outdoor seating in the courtyard. This allows groups to order from different vendors and eat together in one place. Good place to get some authentic Indian and Nepalese food. It's closed Mondays. There's plenty of things for meat eaters as well as for vegans and vegetarians.

We wanted to try the spicy fish but the lady said it was a spice level of 11 on a scale of 10... so we opted for the spicy pork which she said was a medium spicy. She was spot on. The spicy pork was delicious and tender. It was a "mini" which consists of one entree, one veggie, and rice. Opted for the butter vegetables which were good but not as good as the chana masala. The tandoori chicken had a nice herb flavor and the meat was moist. It comes with rice, one veggie, lemon and a yummy green sauce. Admittedly, I really wish the tandoori was charred more - I've had tandoori chicken from other places and the slight char helps a lot for the bbq effect. I loved the chana masala I chose for my side - a rich, curry-type flavor with a slight spice that left me wanting more. The samosas were okay - it was fried well but I thought they were a little dry, and probably not worth the $3 each. The butter naan, though - definitely worth getting. Moist, flavorful, and perfect for soaking up the sauces. We were able to share one naan and still have some leftover. You can definitely find better places for Indian food, BUT this is a really good fast food option, and I believe it is currently the only Indian spot on this side of the island. Plus (again) their service is great! And the prices are reasonable. We've had a couple places come and go in this exact location, so let's hope Lasoon stays longer.

Eventually, we called the restaurant and they told us to look for Namaste. Overall, solid Indian Food. I ordered the Lamb Rogan Josh extra spicy, but it lacked a little heat. We ordered the Butter Chicken Spicy too, but it fell a bit short. That being said, the flavor of both dishes was very good. We both thought the Garlic Naan was perfect! They have wine, prosecco, and beer too. I was a bit disappointed that they didn't offer Indian Beers such as Flying Horse or Taj. I would return, but would probably check out a few of the other options in the area too.

I did update Yelp and was shocked no one has done it to this point! Second, you don't serve any Indian beers?? Really! What we did order was very cold and reasonable prices. The ambience is very mediocre and could use an update. I will share it was clean and felt the bathrooms were clean too. The service was very good, and they were busy! We ordered 2 spicy entrees (butter chicken and lamb Rogan Josh) and the spice level in my mind was mild. My husband orders Indian hot and was just a little spicy, so order accordingly. The dishes were good, so if you're in the mood for Indian I would tell you it's good but... If you're jet legged and tired pick it up to go!
