Hard to get your X-rays If you want the X-rays you paid for, that will be a challenge. You will have to ask several times. They will tell you that they will send them, but you're going to have to call them several times.

I sat in a room for 30 minutes before heading in for X-rays. Once the X-rays were completed, it was back to the room for more waiting. The staff members were friendly. When I asked one of the staff members if they did teeth whitening, they must have saw dollar signs because out of nowhere, Dr Hilda Wee pops in within 30 seconds to sell me whitening. This woman was full of doom and gloom without even looking in my mouth and I could see the dollar signs rolling in her eyes like a slot machine. The kicker was that there was only one hygienist on site that day and I would have to either wait until she was done or schedule another appointment. By this time I had been there for 90 minutes. I decided to schedule another appointment, but with another dental office because these guys are a complete joke and waste of my Friday afternoon.

Not only was I scared but other places had me wait for months. Surprisingly this clinic was able to get me an appointment the same month they examined my teeth! Exactly a week from getting my approved call! If I knew how easy and painless this procedure was, I would've done it ages ago! I even had horizontal impactions. Because of this I had to be fully sedated. Super fast and comfortable. Alll I remember is laying down, and waking up and it was all finished! I love that they stitched up the sockets further decreasing the chances of me getting dry socket as well! They answered all my questions and provided me with all the medications I need for a speedy recovery! Today is day 2! Well known to be the peak of pain and swelling but I can assure you I have 0 pain and 0 swelling. Even the day of the appointment! Thank you staff!

At that point, I had already been there for over 90 minutes and couldn't stay any longer, so I asked her to find out the cost and call me with the information. She never did. My dentist's office manager followed up with their office on my behalf, but no one could give a clear answer. Margarita was again asked to contact me. I called once more myself and was told she was with a patient. Despite multiple follow-ups, I've never received a response from her. The lack of communication and follow-through has been very disappointing and unprofessional.

At the first visit I wasn't happy with the front desk girl. I was told that I would have to pay for dental X-rays again since the dental office did not provide sufficient pictures. I wasn't explained why and she just continued to tell me the price. I was a little bit in shock as the dentist office did take pictures. I contacted my dental office and they continued to explain that the X-ray taken was sufficient, but his office requires a full picture including the back of my son's mouth and they don't have the capability to take those pictures. Since he's a specialist (Dr. Esla) he would have the machines to take the proper pictures required to move forward with the extractions. The office is right by MSW. It's nicely decorated inside and it's a lot different than other Doctor's offices I've been to. The walls are painted black and it actually looks nice. Patient rooms are pretty big and the office is on the 2nd floor. All the staff we encountered was super friendly and everyone made my son feel comfortable. Prices were affordable and they offer payment arrangements if you need it. My son said his wisdom teeth extractions weren't painful because he didn't remember it. The process didn't take long at all. I came in at 8 and left about 9:30ish. This office is quiet, they look like they know their regulars. A few patients came in after us and the girls knew them by name so that seemed nice. I called them later after my son's appointment because I forgot to get a note for school and while I was on hold I learned a lot of new things about the doctor. He does a lot of other services to make Bakersfield's people beautiful. I thought that was neat. I would definitely recommend family and friends here. The office doesn't take long at all. They do not overbook and they treat the patients nice. The staff also seem happy which is nice to see. When the staff is happy, the patients seem to be happy too.
