We had to go to another service station here in Dallas, Oregon because they were referred to us needless to say $2700 and they didn't even fix my truck once we came to Tim's all of that changed. They are honest!! they get us out of there for 100 less in comparison to "the car doctor" & each and every time they could've charged us wayyy more but found ways to do the opposite. I used to have good rapport with this guy I bought a vehicle from him in 2023 really cheap and it didn't run it kept breaking down so he was cool and let me sell it back to him I transferred everything into him his name I after I transfer it and doing all the correct law-abiding things with the DMV and then the DMV gave me a paper to send to him for him to fill out and simply turn back into the DMV which he never did and now I have a fine that goes up $20 a month it started at 20 and now it's at $60 a month I can't afford it that's why I bought a cheap car from him his secretary told me they handled it not to worry about it but now I still have to worry about it and I don't have the money to do it it's kind of irritating and my son's van was repaired by him and there was no repairs finished it still did the same thing before but then it had electrical problems on top of it he seems to pick and choose who he wants to help instead of just be equal and I have equitability behind his standards I'm a little bit upset at this point he thinks I owe him money for doing payments on a vehicle and never got fixed and now has electrical problems on top of it and can't even move I'm just trying to deeply disappointed in the city of Dallas read more

We've been going to Tim's for YEARS. Our first encounter with him was when he came to my wife's place of work in the evening to diagnose an ignition switch problem. No extra charge for after hours, or coming to her business... just the cost as if it was in the shop- which was reasonable to begin with! Have had tons of work done there, and even gotten advice from him and stuff that could bea easily done at home to save $. Tim has renewed my faith in the goodness of our fellow man. I was alone and out of town when my battery decided to give up and I didn't know if I would make it back home. Even my windshield wiper stopped working and it was starting to rain - to drive home down the busy highway would be dangerous. I didn't know who to call so trusted Siri to give me any names in the Dallas area who could look at my car. I saw the wonderful rating Tim's had so called, but had to leave a message thinking I wouldn't hear back. Five minutes later Tim called and after I explained my situation he said, "bring your car over and we'll see if we can help you". I was nearby and when I arrived Tim came out, looked over the situation, got his guy to help me and they never stopped till they got to my hard to reach battery, discovered it indeed needed to be replaced, found a new one even though they aren't common, had it delivered and installed it! It's been working beautifully ever since and in my mind these fellows are heroes! A company with the initials of LS checked my battery that a.m. because it was dead that morning and AAA had to come start it and told me I needed a new one, so I went to LS to get one but they said it was fine, maybe an alternator or something - so off to Dallas I went and it could have ended badly but for the kindness of Tim and his guys. I asked around on Facebook and read these reviews and everyone pretty much came to the same consensus...take my car to Tim's. So off my car went to a shop I still have never even seen haha the tow truck driver took it and Tim himself brought it back (I couldn't go get it because of all my kids and knowing no one in town). I thought for sure there was something major wrong with it. But turns out it was a rock stuck near brakes (or something like that. I'm not very technical). I also got an oil change. I was only charged the oil change and there was no pushing for me to do extra work or saying that my car needed stuff it didn't. My family will definitely be going back and be giving our service to Tim's. read more

If I could leave a 0 star review I would. They had my car for a week and a half, and all they said for diagnosis was exactly what we told them. They would not return my husband's phone calls when he would check up on it, and when they finally did (3 days after we dropped the car off), they said "it doesn't move on it's own, so it looks like the problem is with the transmission." Well gee, I could have told them that. Oh wait, I did. They finally called us on Wednesday and said if we bought a new transmission, they would install it for $1000. Hell. No. When I went to pick up the keys today, I found out they didn't even move my car from where we dropped it off on the 27th. read more

My daughter (single parent/low income) told me about this generous man, Tim, who does free car check/oil change once or twice a year for this population. I thought, WOW! What a great guy, I'm gonna check out him and his shop. My son needed new brakes but Tim didn't have openings for a week, he asked if my son uses the vehicle for college (yes- he attends school in Albany). Tim told me to bring it in the next day and he would try to get the brakes done within a week. We actually dropped the Jeep off that afternoon (as time allowed) and first thing the following morning he had the brakes completed at almost half the cost we have paid in the past. I had called this business several times and no one would answer the phone. ( I did not leave a message either. ) I was hoping to call and get an answer. Tim himself checked caller ID the same day and returned my call. He quoted me $60-90 in LABOR because I was bringing in my own Throttle body that I had ordered. I dropped my vehicle and keys off the night before because he told me he would get to work on it at some point during the day. I get a call at 1 in the afternoon and the office lady tells me that my vehicle is fixed and ready for pick up. I said "great, how late is the office open?" She says 5:30p. I said awesome, I'll be in before then. She then responds with: "Oh and also the part that you brought in wasn't the right one so we went ahead and ordered the one we needed to fix it and installed it. Your total comes to ~ $380 ( I can't remember the exact dollar amount but damn near $400 ). So... much to my surprise, I then asked her why on earth they thought it was OK to order a part and install it without communicating any of that to me. She put TIM on the phone and his best rectification was to remove the part and put the original one back on. He had a "sorry Not sorry" attitude and honestly that's the worst customer service and most unprofessional experience I have ever had and I will never go back to this business. I will never recommend this business. He is lucky that his actions were not criminal because I already reported it to the Police department and plan on filing a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I have a license plate that is from out of state and it felt like he screwed me over since I am not from this small town. Otherwise I've heard nothing but GREAT things about this place. Tim is a honest man with honest service. He charges a couple hundred less than other estimates we have received. When the economy gets rough and money is tight, it's a good feeling knowing you don't have to clean your bank out and skip bills to have your only vehicle repaired. I believe Tim loves what he does, he's not in it for the money, he loves the satisfaction of helping others. We referred our Dad there too and he had his steering wheel fixed for 400.00 less than what another estimate was. Tim is honest and is straight to the point. I had an incredible experience here. My Subaru was having an idling problem on Christmas Eve and he wasn't even open, but got my car in the shop and trouble shot the problem. It turned out to be a sensor issue not usually seen in Subarus, he fixed it, and sent me on my way home. This guy is intelligent and experienced.
