What good is being open during a pandemic if your online ordering is unavailable and you leave someone on hold for over 20 minutes? Called on a different phone just to be picked up and hung up on. I came in on 2/16/19 around 1:30 and the manager and staff member taking the order were horrible. Neither had knowledge of the menu and they sucked in terms of customer service. This store needs some training in customer service. This was the most F$&@ed up visit I had at this location. I placed my order and ask if I would like to substitute some the protein as they are out of the pork. No problem I select a different protein, and waited for my food to arrive at my table. 30 MINUTES later they come over to inform me that they don't have the dish I ordered. I asked why it took so long to tell me you didn't have the item when there was only a couple people in the store at the time, and they replied that they forgot to tell me. I ask for a refund and manager tries to refund me only the ring amount and not the tip, so I had to ask for my tip as well. read more

Came for the first time and will definitely be coming back. The basil fried rice is very good and the restaurant will spice it up for you (up to 3 levels of spice). My wife got the chicken tikka masala which was also very tasty. The food was out pretty quickly, and was $25 including tip. They also have pretty generous portion sizes. The staff was friendly and attentive. I'll definitely be coming back. Also, the Yelp profile indicates that they deliver but I asked some of the staff about it and apparently they don't? This restaurant is uhMAZing !! If you like Pancet, get the Phuket Woon Sen, it was recommended by someone who is from the Phillipines and she said it is the best "pancet" dish other than her own kitchen!! Instead they hand you a menu that everyone else has been touching... which makes ordering slower overall. Then when I just want water, they act very confused. I love that they have vegan options. Sing chow men is my favorite. Sub tofu for the chicken leave off the egg and use vegetarian brown sauce and you've got a spicy cruelty free entree. I had THE BEST experience with this store and their Area Development Manager, Shane Hartness. On Sept 2nd, I placed an Uber Eats order from this Tin Drum location. When the food arrived the entire order was wrong. I called the store and Shane was the manager in that day. He promptly got to work to figure out how to rectify the situation! Before I knew it, he was offering to remake the order and deliver it to me himself! He certainly did not have to do this as it was a mix up on the Uber Eats side of things. Within 30-45 mins, Shane was ringing my doorbell with our order. The food was hot and delicious. That's what I call AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE! Not the best place. Very slow, expensive, food could be much better, but the best front end service from the hard working gentleman. The young man that works in the front was extremely hard working. I asked if he was related to the owner or if he was the manager and neither are the case. He had a fantastic work ethic and I gave him a tip. Tips aren't needed to be left at this place. When we picked up our order we were informed that Yelp coupons are not accepted. I don't understand why the restaurant would accept our order and payment via Yelp but not honor the coupon. UPDATE ... UPDATE a few minutes after listing my review I was contacted by Samantha the manager of Tin Drum. What a sweet lady! She read my review and we spent a few minutes visiting to clarify. We called ahead to verify our dogs would be welcome in the outside seating. They were. When we arrived, we were greeted, given menus, and our water bowl was filled and brought out to us. Our server was helpful, making good suggestions, and in particular, assisting us with the free shipping roll offered thru Yelp. Food was quickly delivered, hot, fresh and delicious. My husband ordered sesame chicken; his evaluation: the best I've ever had and we can eat Thai any time. I ordered pad Thai and agree. Not too spicy and yet full of subtle flavors. I really like this restaurant, but depending on the cook the food can be a hit or miss... I have noticed that lately the food comes out really greasy. Should be cooked just right and not leave a greasy feel with every bite. They have done this with the rice many times too and the portion sizes are also based on who you get or who prepared the prepackaged mixes. I find that $9 for a noodle serving or Pad Woon Sen should feed 2 people. Pad Thai is a pretty good portion. So as I said, it all depends on who is cooking and prepping. Hopefully they improve. I still think its one of the better asian options in Newnan. read more
