Restaurants never cease to amaze me! We decided to get Dynasty for take out! The bag was heavy and it was raining, so I didn't think to open the bag! When my husband got home from work, he opened the bag and no white rice (which is on the receipt!) He worked all day in the heat and was hungry, so he ate his sweet and sour chicken with no rice! I called, and asked them about it. She said she would attach a coupon for free white rice on our next order, and I literally laughed and said what? She said well you got the chicken, so no we are not going to give you a coupon for it! What a joke! This place has gone way down for a while now, so this is absolutely the last time we will ever go back! No need for your coupon Hailey at Dynasty! read more

This was our third time at Dynasty and I am impressed with the service and food. The egg drop tastes great, but it does come with green onions that I take off. The chicken wings were crispy and surprisingly good for a Chinese restaurant. The crab ragoons are filled nicely so we weren't disappointed with barely having filling like a good portion of places do. I love the fried rice here it doesn't taste like burnt oil and has a decent flavor. The broccoli could have used a little more time being cooked so it was softer and that could just be my preference. The prices are decent for lunch and that's the times we've been. Will continue to go back. read more

Called in my order for house fried rice. She said 10 min. I was inside within 3 min and figured I would wait on my order. It was already waiting on me. Got home with it. 2 miles away. The food was just lukewarm. Must have been lunch leftovers! Usually fried rice is made fresh. Tasted bland. Had to heat it up in the microwave. So disappointed. Very good Asian cuisine and variety offered. Their egg drop soup is the freshest and best I've had. They have been around since before we moved to area in the mid-90's. I feel like the grounds and atmosphere are a little dated but could be amazing if they were to update and really focus on design and theme. read more

Hot, fresh, delicious food. Lots of varieties to choose from to include vegan options. I also like the fact that I could adjust my heat/spice level of the dishes upon request. Also, portions are good size. So one could possibly have leftovers, so don't forget to ask for a take out box, nothing better than seconds of a good meal. Great place for larger groups or imitate settings as well. Priced just right depending on what you order, of course, and the time of day/night you choose to go. read more

my family and i have been coming to Dynasty for easily over a decade. it was a staple for us on christmas eve. when covid hit, we kinda felt like that their food quality had gone down. it got to a point where we stopped going as often. but the past few times we have eaten there we have been impressed again. we went in yesterday for my daughters birthday and every one couldn't stop talking about how good it was. our server was excellent and she stayed on top of the whole time. i would say they have definitely gotten back to where they were before 2020, and i'm so glad. they deserve it! read more

Now that this business has gone under new management, Dynasty's business has been booming! They have their dine in open to the public, and their public services have been growing daily. Dynasty has the kindest staff, and some of the cleanest and organized restrooms and overall facility. My family has been eating here (take-out/delivery) for the past few years since COVID struck us, but now that they're back open, this won't be my last time back. read more

Sad day. We have been regulars for over 14 years at this location. Tonight we ordered take out since the restaurants dine-in option has been closed for a bit. Apparently there are new owners and of course, I wish them lots of luck, but none of the food was the same. At best, it tasted and resembled that of mall type Asian food. If you were a fan of Dynasty, you will definitely notice a difference. We ordered roast pork fried rice, it was basic fried rice with egg, gray pork (not roast pork) no veggies and bland. The wonton soup was made very differently and not the same flavors as before. The egg rolls were greasy and soggy on the outside, very thick and overly peppered on the inside. Reminded us of frozen egg rolls. Gross. Tossed it all in the trash! We will miss the old Dynasty! Disappointed. read more

We ordered takeout on Sunday, April 25, 2021 and the food was terrible. If I could go less than 1 star I would. I ordered salt and pepper shrimp. The menus says "jumbo shrimp" but they were so tiny they were hard to find in the egg/bell pepper/onion glop they were hidden in. The batter was so soggy when you picked on up a shrimp and moved it in your fingers it came off as a smudgy goo. The fried rice was put into the box as two scoops of hard, dry tasteless balls and tasted like it had been sitting in a pot for hours even though we ordered around 2:30. Everything should have been fresh. All items were basically bland and tasteless even though I ordered it extra, extra, extra spicy. My wife ordered garlic chicken and there was almost no chicken in the box, her veggies were soggy and the fried rice came from the same stale pot as mine. They are open for takeout only when all of the other mom and pop restaurants here in Newnan are fully open for inside dining. Their takeout window would make Ft Knox proud. You have to yell at the guy behind the panel and he passes your food through a double blind plexiglass box. He doesn't have any trouble taking your credit card and running it, though. By the way, they are charging the same price for this really bad product. Terrible customer facing experience. Before covid, we loved this place. Since covid, we've tried them several times including one disasterous GrubHub delivery. It's steadily gone down hill every order. If they don't open back up and get their food quality up to standard, they should go out of business. This level of performance is shameful. read more

I like DOD! A word of caution for first timers: It's slightly difficult to find. If you're headed to downtown Newnan from I-85 on Bullsboro, DOD is on the right just past Kroger; across the street from Advance Auto Parts. Private lot provides ample parking. Inside, the store is clean and tastefully appointed. i ordered to go, the Roast Pork Lo Mein special lunch combo. There is a caveat in the menu: "(Soup is not included in Carty[sic]-Out)" Doesn't make sense to me, but at least I was forewarned in the menu. So my lunch special consisted of Roast Pork Lo Mein, Egg Roll, Fried Rice, and Fortune Cookie. I had a few other errands to run, so when I got "home" my egg roll was a bit soggy. But still very, very good. Next was the Roast Pork Lo Mein. I don't recall ever having a better Lo Mein. Partly because DOD was very, very generous with the pork; and partly because it was just plain yummy. I should have stopped there, because Lo Mein plus Fried Rice strikes me as too much starch. And the Fried Rice was rather bland, even with tamari sauce added. I suspect if I had ordered a fried rice entree, such as Roast Pork Fried Rice, it would have been much better. And the Fortune Cookie was like hundreds I've had before. All in all, we're good. I'll back for more lo mein, and to sample some of their Thai dishes, and their soup. read more

I've been going to Dynasty for over 20 years. I've noticed some differences In the way the dishes have been prepared, but I'm also taking into consideration time, the cooks that prepare the food, and readily available ingredients. With all that , I've still been a regular customer . Within the last few weeks , I've noticed some remodeling done , and even change of biz days and hours. It's clear dynasty is under new management. The food and quality is 100% different. Honestly this tastes identical to Red Rice Bowl in ptc. I was a little disappointed expecting the usual house friend rice or Mongolian beef only to find it taste nothing like the original recipe dynasty has had for years. It will probably be a while before I return , if I do. read more

Dynasty is not open for dine in. Delivery and take out only. However, they have stopped serving Kim chi because cabbage is "too expensive". Raise the price on the product. It's popular and one of the main reasons I love the place. There's a new menu that I haven't seen yet. I wonder what else is missing from the menu now? One of my favorite spots in Newnan to eat. There are quite a few mixed reviews on yelp...however, I have always received great food and great service from Dynasty. I have lived in Newnan since 1999 and have tried others and they do not compare. I also work in the restaurant industry and do know it is hard to get every customer's order correct especially when using a third party delivery, that is the chance you take when you order third party. This place puts out not only great tasting food but has a delightful atmosphere and very helpful and speedy staff. Being that I'm from Southern California & that I'm asian - I honestly didn't have high hopes for this place when I was visiting Newnan. To my surprised - when I walked in, i almost felt as if I were in LA. The service was very nice, plus my grandparents go there a lot so they practically knew everyone. As a native of Newnan, this is the only Chinese place that me and the fam dine at. Not because it is the best Chinese food ever had, but because it is consistent with great service, good food and a good atmosphere. It is basic Chinese food, but it is always hot, fresh and yummy! So, truly no complaints about Dynasty. When in Newnan and want a little bit more bang for your buck regarding Chinese, without the heavier prices...this is your place! Consistency is the issue. They seem to have gone back to average or worse food. The seafood Kung Pao we ordered smelled like an estuary. The beef was all spice and no flavor. I've had great meals here and awful meals. Tonight was on e awful side, so bad that I will not go back. read more
