This review is meant for management in hopes they see the bartenders that need to be excused from their positions. I love this place, have been staying in Myrtle for over a month and have come to this bar at least half a dozen times. Live music and atmosphere on point. That said, there are a couple tenders who are straight up useless. I didn't catch their names since they completely ignored the section of the bar (at the front of the stage by the storage room) that we were in. Last night they also ignored the lead singer of the band who stood there waiting to get a glass of water through 2 songs, no lie! We finally flagged down a bar back and got him some water but the two bartenders were so busy talking to girls at the front of the bar that they were totally oblivious. I actually went to the bar where the DJ was to order a couple beers for me and hubs, plus shots for the band. It wasn't until we'd been there for about 2 hours that the bartender finally walked over and asked if we wanted anything. One girl even stood on top of the bar to get their attention. It worked, but all they did was scream at her to get down and walked away. What's the point of even having a bar if you can't get a drink to save your life, lol? I'll be back for the music, but the service overall needs some major work. You have guys working there (not just these two) who must be boys with the managers bc all they seem to care about is talking to their friends (i.e. on Wednesday night) and the chicks at the bar. Oh boy, where do I start with this place? I loved this gorgeous view from the rooftop bar. We've passed this place a bunch of times before we actually stopped in. It's a very confusing building and from the street side you can't even tell if it's open or not. Anyway, it's a great concept and I gotta give it to them for the great bar and the live music. The issue is the inconsistency with their service and food. We came here twice in one day which is definitely extra but we came here early afternoon for some apps and some beers. Since it was good we then decided to come back later for happy hour and an early dinner before we had to make a show. The early visit here, our first one, was much better than the second visit later that day. We had a nice waitress who was on top of our order and we loved their wings. Their fish taco was not very good though. It was a huge piece of fish and it was difficult to eat. It was also fried and I don't really enjoy fried fish in general so it was a let down. But we decided to come back anyways and this is where everything went downhill. So as I had mentioned we were in a bit of a rush. So of course Murphy's law suggests that anything that could go wrong will, and here it definitely did. For our second visit we had a waiter who was mostly MIA after we placed our order. He didn't come back to refill our drinks and our app never came out. We waited a good 20 minutes before we were even able to find our waiter to ask him what was going on since we only had another 25 minutes before we had to go. We had already been there close to 35 minutes and hadn't gotten any of our food and no updates at all. So we ask our waiter what's going on and why the food was taking so long. He clearly forgot about us because he went back into the kitchen and didn't come back out for another 15 minutes. He most likely never put our order in until we complained and then he waited there while they made it and brought it out to us. He canceled the appetizer since he said it would have taken too long to make and we were in a rush. He didn't take anything else off the bill except the app that we never got and the food was really mediocre. Overall, there is a much better rooftop bar right down the street from this place and if they want to make it in MB they should probably step up their food and service game. This place was just okay. Don't bother with the food and expect too much from the service. I would only come here again for the beer and the music. read more

Went here for Mimosas and Motown, paid 10 bucks to park, got upstairs and although they say walk ins welcome, every seat under a roof was taken / reserved. If you are just a walk in, you were left outside on a January drizzle day in the cold, on wet chairs and tables. We left, no drinks, no food, no service. I did what I could to discourage people in the parking lot from wasting their time and going up there. Never again. read more

We stumbled upon this place on our way walking to the boardwalk. The building is under construction but there was a sign saying it was open. Nice atmosphere on a Saturday night. They had live music and several tables with ocean views. We sat in the open area but there is indoor seating and covered outdoor seating. Our meals were good. We had nachos. I had the chef salad. My kids had a quesadilla and a Southern hamburger. Beer was good. Our server Madison was very friendly and accomodating. read more

Cute little rooftop bar right on the beach! We were looking for just a nice spot to grab a beer and enjoy the view, and Tin Roof did not disappoint. We went on a Wednesday night around 8 and it was busy but not too crowded at all. They had an awesome female singer/songwriter playing some live music. The bartender, Kacey, was such a gem and so personable. Definitely enjoyed our time here. read more

We waited for her to return to take our order but she seemed too occupied with flirting/interacting with others who were eating there. After about 20 minutes of LITERALLY watching our waiter do absolutely nothing asides from laugh and joke around with others we decided to head out. As we were on our way out we run into our speechless waiter sitting outside with a friend joking around on the balcony. No words just a embarrassed stare. Don't go here if you have kids and want to eat. We expected the kids menu. But there was no kids menu. No kids drinks. No kids cups. We tried to sit outside but no tables to accommodate a party larger than 4. We waited forever for someone to help us. No one helped us. The owner sat there and ignored us. Finally when a waitress did come to take our drink order we waited 10 minutes and she came back and said "sorry your drink order ticket probably blew away in the wind" so we got up and left. Tonight was my first night after staying next door at the Hilton. The evening started out great with drinks with Maggie our waitress. The watermelon margarita was very good. At 10 pm the waitress are cut off and you have to order from the bar. This is where the evening took a turn for the worst. The bartenders were less than friendly: After making the wrong drink- that we had been drinking for 2 hours- the bartenders were not willing to come back over to correct the issue. The manager Rob was kind and trying to be accommodating. The only reason I will return is Tre' from the time we entered. He apologized for our experience and explained he would do what he could to make our night pleasurable. I just purchased next door at the Hilton and will give another try due to convenience however I am big on customer service and treatment just due to Tre'. I don't mind paying extra but I expect to be valued as a customer. I want customers to be aware where they spend the money but for the right reasons- employees should treat customers kind and with respect if they want their business. By 1:00 the place was clearing out and the bar was dead and no one attended to the restaurants. It was as if the after hours crowd were second rate citizens and no one cared. The bathroom was filthy. Decided to come here while on vacation. We were so happy with the location and convenient parking nearby. Also had a great view. When we came up the stairs we weren't greeted by anyone and didn't know if we sat ourselves or waited. Later, someone told us to take a seat that they would be right with us. The service was so slow and pretty unorganized. They weren't that busy either. But the food was amazing! I would eat here again, just not if you want to do something else that day. Let me begin by saying that this is the very first review that I have ever written, as I feel I have better things to do with my time. However, with that said, I felt it my obligation to warn people, especially locals about this establishment's business practices. Four of us went to have dinner and listen to a band on a Friday night as we had never been to this restaurant and wanted to give it a try. About 9:45 pm a staff member came up to our table and told us that we needed to pay a $5 cover charge before 10 pm or we would be asked to leave. Needless to say we were all shocked. It would have been one thing if we were told about the cover charge before we came in but to tell us after we had been eating and drinking for two and a half hours was unbelievable. It was not the cost that bothered us but the manner in which it was handled. We are all locals and know that you can find better music and cheaper drinks and food anywhere in Myrtle Beach. I also found out that 10 of our other friends were here the same night but seated inside and were treated the same way. If you want to stay in business very long I think you need to take a hard look at what you consider to be good customer service. read more

If I had the option to give this sh*t hole zero stars, I would. But if you're looking for a place to hear terrible sounding live music and get over served by bro-bartenders fresh out of the daterape club for men, then this is the place for you! Not only did our idiot waitress get every one of our orders incorrect but they were also either cold or room temperature at best. My "burger" had no cheese or toppings, the side order of mac & cheese was so cold it had a congealed layer of stale crust on the top that I could barely crack with the plastic fork and knife they gave us for cutlery, and the "veggie" quesadilla was loaded with chicken- not awesome if you're a vegetarian looking to get a meatless option. After about 45 minutes of sitting at our table waiting for the idiot waitress to finally resurface so we could straighten this out, she never once apologized for the screwups and dogsh*t food, and had the nerve to add a built in 20% gratuity into our bill (LOL). We should've gone to a gas station and gotten food that's been under a heat lamp all day. read more

Really great atmosphere except the Doors impression during karaoke. Avoid Tuesday nights! Also they ruined so many dishes with too much "franks red hot".
