Honestly I tried their food tonight for the first time and never again! I got a tin tan burrito with asada on it and my husband got the chimichanga plate. For one all of our food was cold, his "chimichanga" only had meet that's it and both of our plates had no flavor at all and the wrap on my burrito had beans all over it. Over 30 minute wait I felt was ridiculous especially for that type of service. This is not a good place to eat and definitely not worth your money. read more

I had the opportunity to walk here from my hotel. The outside is not much to look at, but I asked a person walking by - "Is thus place any good?" The polite stranger said absolutely! So I walked in - what a great decision. The place was clean and very inviting. The food was fresh and very worth the stop. I had the pappas with shredded beef - excellent. The potatoes were crispy and light and the portion was perfect. Then I ordered the beef tacos with a Bern's and rice. The tacos were perfect with a crispy shell and cheesy beef. I rolled out of there for less than $30 bucks. This included some one beer and a horchata for the walk home. I will try to come back. The meal provided included a choice of chicken, beef or vegetarian burrito, rice and beans. Chips and salsa on the side. The food was mouthwatering and authentic. I love this place! I've had it quite a few times and it has never disappointed. I got the tin tan burrito (chicken) on a Monday which is the best deal ever. The burrito is massive and definitely can count for two meals. The salsa Verde is also a huge plus for this place it's self serve and amazing. I hate to be that person, because I will admit that Tin Tans can be tasty (especially after a few drinks) BUT after ordering the Tin Tan Burrito with beef on Wednesday night, I contracted food poisoning with a virus called Campylobacter (comes from uncooked meats). I am DYING. I just got back from an ER visit that took 7 hours, multiple different needles and IVs, and a STOOL SAMPLE. Do you know how dehumanizing it is to shit into a bucket? This was the first and last place I visited while at WSU for a research trip. And the exact reason was because of that great college, late-night taco taste. I enjoyed every taco, carne asada fries and burrito I had (and let me tell you, I had a lot of food). Having tried a majority of the taco selection while at Pullman, I can wholeheartedly recommend each and every single one of them. The food is fairly authentic and good sized portions for relatively cheap. Burritos and tortas are huge. Plenty of meats to choose from. The outdoor seating is a plus but the customer service is less than great. The older guy is nice(ish) but the younger kid should not be in customer service. He has no idea how to greet customers or how to communicate with people in general. I've been to Tin Tans about 15 times and he has never smiled or even tried to be half courteous . Nestled in the middle of Greek Row and next to the armpit of college bars lies this sight for sore eyes after a long night of being incoherently drunk. After a few drinks and melting my make up off after grinding on a bunch of randoms, I usually find myself ordering a vegetarian burrito at 2 a.m. in the morning. There are about 2-3 vegetarian options that you can choose so that you may also join in with your friends and heed to your drunchies. My very drunk self is usually very pleased with their food, especially their salsas. I am sure that my sober self will approve of their food as well. If you decide to bring someone who is mostly sober to this place at 2 a.m. in the morning, they will not like the chaos of drunk college students trying to keep it together and not puke in their restaurant. I love Tin Tan Tacos. They used to have a food truck prior to moving up on college hill which I frequented. I generally base my ratings of a place like this on two things: burritos and tortas. I like their asada better than any place else in town. It is chewy, has some of the fatty connective tissue and is seasoned awesome. The burrito is more traditional than "tex mex" and is just meat, lettuce, crema fresca and a delicious white cheese. It is Huge. The tortas are also quite good. They serve a number of meats including lengua. Mom and pop shop. Owners are very friendly. I take out 90% of the time. Parking can be a mess as it is in the middle of college hill. read more
