If I could give it zeros I would... I moved here recently and just tried it for the first time. The waitress came to us quickly and took out order. Then my meal came out but my boyfriend's meal did not. She went back to punch his order in and mine stayed at the table. Once his finally came, there was raw meat in his meat poutine. We asked if we could have his remade with no sausage (the only raw meat). I watched the chef pick out the raw meat with bare hands, moving through the plate/poutine and then cook the sausage and put it back into the same plate. This is a health hazard as you contaminated the cooked food with raw meat and then refused to remake it and put cooked meat in the already contaminated food. My meal became cold by the time his meal was served properly. I mentioned that at this point my food is now cold and the waitress responded with "well it was served hot"... I am sitting down at a restaurant so we can eat at the same time but we're being served at different times. I asked to speak to a manager or Tina 4 times but Tina refused to come speak to us. I am so upset with the horrible service from the owner and kitchen staff. I think it's unprofessional that as an owner you won't address your customers concerns. read more

Amazing food, very nice and friendly staff. I have tried the Denver Sandwich but All Vegetarian, which was not on their menu. But they were kind enough to make it for me. Very tasty and filling. Will come again again for sure. read more

Let me start this review off with the staff was amazing and kind! I had Stacy's French Toast and it was phenomenal. My significant other had the breakfast poutine and I took a quick bite. I'm from the states and usually don't have access to poutine in general but it was the best bite of breakfast combined with this Canadian spin on it! My favourite breakfast place in Tbay. I've tried a few things on the menu, my favourite being the smoke salmon eggs benny. Consistently good! I am missing my Toronto brunches in Thunder Bay, and Tina's holds up pretty well + Smoothie was great + I've always had really good service + Eggs benny + Lunch food is great too (ciabatta sandwich) - I wish they had something a little more original to set them apart- that would bring it up to a five. My partner and I were visiting from out of town. We read a lot of good reviews about this restaurant and it certainly did not disappoint. It's similar to Cora's and Mon Coco. I ordered the eggs Benedict and it was so delicious. My partner ordered Sunnyside up eggs with potatoes, sausage , toast and fruit bowl (don't quite remember the name of the dish) but he also said it was quite good. Tina's absolutely suck, mediocre food, huge waits, lousy service and just not worth the hype. If this is the best that Thunder Bay has to offer than that's bad. There is nothing special whatsoever about anything I had or the experience here. I say skip it and search for somewhere good. read more

I order a Tina's breakfast eggs sunny side up bacon crispy hash browns with onions when my meal came there was no onions in the hash browns I told the waitress when she returned with the meal in less than 30 second later there was raw onions in the hash browns they should have been cooked with the hash browns like they were the 4 other times I ate heretic waitress brought the plate back to the kitchen came back 1 min later the onions were still not cooked at this point I told her just to charge me for the small bowl of fruit. Tina's has a nice clean upscale vibe, comparable to Cora's breakfast chain. Service here is a bit young and vacant, and doesn't have the same cozy homey feeling as Hoito or Niva's. Food quality is good and seems to be prepared with a little bit more care, with prices correspondingly higher than Hoito/Niva's. The only downside is that the Finnish pancakes were not as good! You'll still need to go to Hoito or Niva's for that. read more

I went to Tina's only twice in total so far. It's a very friendly environment and great to go with friends! I was there today with a friend, and was left unsatisified with my meal, but satisfied with the service. I ordered the clubhouse and my friends usually order it so this time I thought I'd try it, the chicken had a rubbery texture to it, which left me unable to eat the rest!! I let my waitress know when she came by again, and she was very very nice about it!:) I was really happy with the way she handled it, she asked me if I would like for them to make me another one, which I politely declined, or just take the bill (which had a discount on it because I wasn't happy with the sand which) I was very impressed and she was really nice!! Runny over-easy eggs, high priced mediocre standard breakfast. Their "fresh fruit" consists of paper thin melon, dried out orange slices and some pretty rough strawberries. service was a saving grace, quick and efficient as well as a pleasant attitude, the restaurant was bright and clean so that's an upside. read more
