When picking up my dog, I was asked to pay for the service before they brought her out. At the register I was asked if I wanted to leave the groomer a tip. I had to let the cashier know that I hadn't seen my dog yet, so I couldn't choose a tip amount. I like to tip on services, but I'm not going to tip for grooming before seeing my dog and making sure there weren't any issues. The groomers would receive more/better tips if the pickup process was adjusted.
