    I've been shopping at pet pub for 25 years. Today was not a good day. My son bought a bag of food. That I don't feed. I called and asked if I could return without a receipt. He said I could exchange, I was fine with they. I went to return it. I came in and waiting up front because no one was there. When she came back I said I was returning it to get the food I feed. I waited till she was free. She asked if I had a receipt. I said no. She grabbed the basket and pulled it away. I said wait this is mine! She continued to pull it away put it behind her and told me to go get the food I want. I asked her why she was being so rude. She said "sorry, but yeah" I said "but yeah, what"?? She said sorry. With a very rude tone. So i asked to talk to a manager. He came out. And he was acting strange to me too. Said they don't sell that food. But they do sell pro plan. I said i called he said I talked to him. And that I said a friend or someone bought it for me. I asked how to i find out where it was sold? Said I need to ask them where they got it. I said "i said my son said pet club. " I don't get why these people are rude for no reason at all!! That girl should not do a job she has to deal with people. Before me there was an elderly man buying a crate. He asked her "I have a 10 pound dog, is this the size I need? She said "I DONT KNOW!" All he wanted was help. He asked if she thought it was ok. Still no help from her. She just said "it's whatever you dog is" or something like that. So I walked up to help him because I'm pretty knowledgeable about dogs and crates. And the lady behind him helped too. Told him it was a little big. He didn't want one so big. He clearly was having a hard time hold the crate. People need to have more heart and stop being mean! She was about 20, long hair that looked grey and black. Sad I've been a customer for longer than she has been alive and she makes me want to never come back.

    April's leash and collar were pretty much worn out so we thought it was time to replace them. We checked in at Pet Club and all dog shoppers must be on leash to enter the store. This place was huge! We wandered through several wide aisles of pallet racking then found the leash and collar section. They had a variety of sizes, styles and colors. After we explored our options we made up our mind. I grabbed a leash, a collar and a small dog harness all in matching red. Before we hit the register we stalled for a while in between aisles and tried to figure out how to properly install the harness. We asked for assistance and Sean came to the rescue. This young friendly fellow took like twenty seconds to put it on our April. The weird thing was April didn't bark and didn't mind at all which was unusual of her since by nature she's a loud mouth specially when it comes to meeting strangers. I guess she smelt that friendship and trust right from the get-go. In addition to a crapload of pet food and supplies, this store had live fish! But doggone it no credit card purchases allowed. They only accepted debit card, cash or checks only. We paid cash and grabbed a free treat on the way out. Great service! Goodbye pink hello red...

    Good selection of products and knowledge staff. Especially the fish guy who is super helpful and always teaches us new things!

There was the standard treats, toys, food and accessories, but there was also a self serve pet washing area, and a pet play area/ training area. Unfortunately, someone was training while we were there, but from what it looks like, when there isn't a training session you can let your dog into the area for a but. We ended up buying some treats and toys for our dog after walking around the store a couple times and letting him sniff around. The staff was friendly and it was a nice way to kill some time while we waited for an appointment.

My dog had diarrhea and vomiting all night after ingesting the collagen with beef jerky in it. I tried returning the remaining 3 of this product that made my dog sick. Told by another sales associate to get something else as exchange. I chose a product that was safe for my dog but this was $6.99 and the ones I was returning was$ 8.99. I was returning 3 and replacing with 3 that was less amount. Sales person and her supervisor, L said I would only get 32 cents back. Sales person said I can get a 4th one free. I said I wanted to an exchange and didn't want the 4th one. L said it's not the company's responsibility that my dog got sick on their product but it was my fault to give it to my dog. I asked to speak to a manager. L said that her manager, D was at the other location and I should go there to speak to him. When I asked when he will be at the location that I was having the issue then she said it's company policy that she cannot give out his schedule. She shoved back the 3 products that I was trying to return and slapped a customer service information card on the counter and told me to handle the matter with them. I told her to process the return and got $21 plus some cents back which is what my original intention was before getting talked into doing an exchange. I spoke to manager D and he immediately told me that L is one of his best employees. Later he did say he will talk to her about customer service. He said it's company policy that they cannot do a prorated exchange on the buy 3 get one free promotion. Beware about the fine print that they don't tell you about "the exchange " transaction on the buy 3 and get one free business. The company is not responsible if your dog gets sick on their product because every dog is different and it's your responsibility for giving it to your dog (even though they highly recommend this product) said by L.     These guys are crooks. I have a snake that I regularly buy lamps and mice for here. In the two…read moreyears I've been here, I never had an issue. Now with the new owners, the quality of product and customer service is in the toilet. Someone picked up a mouse for me and accidentally told them a rat. I immediately brought it back to them with the receipt and they refused to exchange it for a mouse. They made me purchase another one and then refused to take the rat back. What am I supposed to do with this rat? I've also purchased two lamps from them recently and had a very similar experience. They test it before you leave to make sure it works bc there's no return on lights. It works when they test it and in both cases, the light burnt out in less than a week. They're clearly using the lamps for other things (chickens and other reptiles) and putting those bulbs back in the boxes then pulling this no return BS. Don't trust these people, go to literally anywhere else unless you like wasting your time and money

I wouldn't dark in their door if they were the last business in California
