I called Master Plumbing Solution for a second opinion after another company quoted me $3,850 to…read morereplace my entire water service line. Wilson came out, took one look, and figured out the big leak was actually on the city side of the meter, between the curb stop and the meter. Not my line at all. He tightened a valve on the spot and cut the leak from about 1,000 gallons a day down to a trickle, then told me to call EBMUD since it was their responsibility to fix. He didn't charge me a cent for the visit. After EBMUD swapped their valve, there was still a small leak. Wilson suggested it might just be a toilet flapper. He was right. I found a running toilet and fixed it myself in five minutes. The meter stopped. So instead of a $3,850 line replacement I didn't need, the real problem was a city valve and a toilet flapper. Honest, knowledgeable, and no upsell. These are the people I'm calling from now on.

Carbo rocked it. There was only one place where it was necessary to break into the wall in my living space. Carbo brought a guy to fix the wall/ceiling. When doing the re-pipe Carbo thought there might need to be some tiles redone around the faucets in the shower and the upstairs bathtub. However Carbo was able to cut the tiles out and put the tiles back without any additional work. The upstairs bathroom cabinet was replaced but the original sink part of the cabinet was retained. It looks great. Carbo even painted the doors of the new cabinet to match the rest of the bathroom. Now my house has all copper pipes and a new water heater. It's been over a year since this work was done and I have had zero problems. Highly recommend! As I said before, A+++

We then called Better Home, and they came by quickly to take a look and mentioned some stuff about our water heater, and we decided to get a new one since it was already 15 years old. I had a very minor hint of gas smell near the earthquake emergency valve at the gas meter. I called…read morePG&E to check it out and they confirmed a leak at the earthquake valve side so they shut off gas until I made the repair. Yaro responded to my quote request on Yelp and provided a quote based off my photo. He had a window available within the next hr and was able to identify and seal the earthquake valve elbow part better. I am thankful for his speedy repair and PG&E was able to come back same day to turn the gas back on. Yaro's rate was competitive and has a 1 year labor warranty. There was an error date on the receipt so I'm just waiting for the revised receipt with the correct date. Other than that, I'm so glad to find him and would call him back for any plumbing issues.
