I cannot recommend AB's Plumbing Service highly enough. I called AB's Plumbing in a panic after my toilet backed up and sewage started coming up through my bathtub. Needless to say, I was horrified. When I described the situation over the phone, the plumber immediately knew what the problem was and explained that I likely had a backed-up sewer line. He told me he'd be there within about an hour, and he was. When he arrived, he went straight to work. He located the cleanout in my front yard, removed the cap, and sewage and toilet paper came shooting out of the pipe--definitely not a pleasant sight, but it confirmed the problem. He then ran a camera through the line and showed me exactly what was causing the backup: tree roots had intruded into the sewer pipe. What impressed me most was how quickly they responded. He told me a crew would be out the very next morning--even though it was a Saturday--to make the repair. True to his word, the crew arrived as scheduled and worked well into the evening to get everything fixed properly. But the service didn't stop there. After completing the repair, they offered to spread mulch over the area where they had dug the trnech to install the new pipe. However, not only did they mulch the area of their work, but generously offered to spread mulch throughout the entire yard. By the time they finished, not only was my sewer line repaired, but my yard looked better than it ever had before. I feel like I got the benefit of a plumber and a landscaper! As the scope of the job expanded, Abraham was fully transparent, answering all of our questions, explaining every facet of the issue, and offering extremely generous pricing for the additional materials and services that ended up being required. I was scared to call a plumber since in the past, I had unfortunate experiences where plumbers replaced with cheap parts, doubled the cost of what's quoted, leave a dirty mess, etc. When I saw that AB's Plumbing had many great reviews, I decided to try my luck with Abraham for my mom's plumbing issue. I called at 4:26 pm on a Saturday and he said he can come within 2 hours. After I described the issue, he diagnosed it as clogged main sewer line and quoted me between $450 - 800 + cost of parts. This is including Yelp discount and he did not charge extra for emergency hours. He was professional, friendly and guaranteed that he would not go over $800 + parts, so I decided to go with him. Abraham arrived at 5:43 pm and did a thorough inspection and preliminary work before deciding to remove a toilet to access the main sewer line. He said that normally there is an extra charge for removing the toilet but he won't charge. He went through a step-by-step process to ensure that water didn't overflow in the bathroom and kept the area clean. He also used a new blanket to put his equipment on top of. Abraham spent 1 hour or so, bent over while unclogging with a snake machine; it's tough physical work. Once he got through the clog, he said since it was very impacted, cost will be $800 + parts = $825. Abraham ran water through the pipes with the backyard hose and unclogged the bathtub that had sewage backflow. I asked him to check if the toilet works properly and so, he fixed the toilet handle. Abraham cleaned the area around the toilet and washed the bathtub well. Disinfectant spray was used around the toilet area. It was a nice job cleaning after himself. I was nervous about the final bill since past plumbers I've dealt with would still increase the bill at the end after work is completed. Abraham kept his word; it remained at $825 even though it was getting late (~8pm) and he did few things like fixed the toilet handle / unclogged the tub. Overall, Abraham was thorough and meticulous in his work and he talked to me throughout the process, letting me know what he was doing and explaining it (he first asked if I wanted to know). We have had water leaking from our drainpipe whenever our washer drains the tub. I reached out to AB's Plumbing Services at around 10PM Sunday night; within a few minutes Abraham responded and scheduled to come 10:30AM Monday. Once he arrived, Abraham explained what he will be doing to attempt to clear the drain. After several attempts and with two different snaking machines, the drainpipe still had a blockage. Abraham then notified me that dirt was being pulled from the drainpipe by the snake, indicating that the drainpipe was broken. He then used the camera (he also waived the normal fee for this service) and diagnosed where the breakage occurred in the drainpipe. He advised me as to what the next steps were with my HOA and how the pipe can be fixed. Although our issue was not able to be resolved that day, I appreciate all the effort and assistance that Abraham provided. He was at my home over the course of 3 hours, trying to resolve our issue before letting us know it could not be resolved that day. Hire them. Abraham and his team were SO easy to work with! We had an emergency leak in our kitchen sink (water was literally pouring out onto the kitchen floor) on a Sunday afternoon, and Abraham was the fastest person to get back to us! He sent out two amazing team members (I believe the main technician was named Victor), and they diagnosed our problem immediately. The original plumber had #1 installed the piped incorrectly, which is probably why our drain never drained in the ten years we've been renters, and #2 hadn't leveled the dishwasher, which has led to a leaking dishwasher. Victor and his coworker sawed the pipe down so that the water drained the right way, secured loose piping, replaced five old and useless gaskets, and leveled our dishwasher in under an hour.
