Pleasant experience! Staff was nice to offer solution for their lack of plastic knife. Place needs improvement and organization. general cleaning probably to clear out the dusts on the area. Al fresco dining. High chair seen. No restroom. See images for reference.

PROS: the food tasted great, staff were friendly, cash discount, prices were good, outside seating CONS: they were slow with making orders and there was very limited seating inside OVERALL: I'd come back here as long as I wasn't aiming to eat inside

Well, I should have just agreed with the other reviews. I think I am, but I was trying to stay positive about this place. While I was ordering my pizza, it was very rushed. I was asking about different pizzas and what they were, and they were automatically getting put on my order when all I did was ask about it. So I decided only to get my zita slice and two plain slices. I should have gone back and complained about my pizza, but I was just way too hungry and tired. So a huge disappointment my pizza was warm cold. I was not happy at all. Rushed in the beginning and then automatically received a cold pizza. I wouldn't recommend coming here.

Long Branch was the first beach I ever took my kids to. This was a good decade ago now and I wanted to bring them back and have them get to see the area and everything with fresh eyes. I only ended up having one of my sons this day, but I asked some people I know in the area where I could grab a slice. They tell me Gigi's NY Style two towns over in Sea Bright is the place to grab a quick slice and avoid needing to get a table, do the whole seating thing, etc. All I wanted to do was get a bite in our stomachs and be on our way. I'm happy we did. Let me start off with the single handed only negative I can say...the cost. The slices were of average size and 2 slices and 2 drinks (albeit one slice was a specialty slice) was nearly $15. For me that's a bit much, but with them being directly on the water and in a hip little bustling area, I didn't really pay that much mind. My son (so adventurous) wanted to grab a regular slice and I saw a slice there called "Grandma'" and decided that was the one for me. The Grandma's slice looked like basically a half size Sicilian slice with sauce and basil pesto in lines over top. It was half the thickness of a Sicilian so it was kind of cool to get the same mouthfeel and some heft like a Sicilian, but also to still have a crispy crust and dough. The cheese, sauce, pesto, crust...it was all good. I really enjoyed this Grandma slice a lot. I'd go back solely for that slice. It was a bit high in price, but it was really good. The plain slice had fantastic flavor as well. Really good sauce and they use a quality cheese for sure. I liked the snap in the crust, but the rest of the pizza as a whole could have been cooked a bit more. That's a preference thing so I can't knock them, but I like a pie that stands up on it's own...this was definitely a bit undercooked for my own taste. The staff here was also very friendly. I spoke with a woman who greeted me immediately for a few minutes and the younger staff behind the counter were all half watching football and half working, but not in a lazy teen kind of way. They were all passionate about the games, I enjoyed that. The Jets and Giants also both won so we'll take that and run. All in all I was very happy with our quick stop in at Gigi's and I'd definitely go back. I'd get that Grandma slice again for sure, but now I'm curious to see what the other specialty pies are like as well. Gigi's NY Style Pizza in Sea Bright, New Jersey - Didn't Suck! Gigi's location in Sea Bright is a very convenient location for me, larger than the location in Oceanport and they offer outside seating. Plenty of parking and the folks who work there are very nice. Similar menu at both locations but the location in Seabright has brought in Sonny's sandwiches which I have yet to have. Pepperoni square with everything crust of fantastic and their pepperoni rolls are best I have had. Give them a visit if you are in the are.

Fine for weekdays or off-season. Better options on street for summer & weekends. They've had a hard time managing the summer crowd. Not sure if it's staffing or because they've downsized the physical plant (from 2 locations to 1) but Kenny gets pretty frantic when orders get backed up. Employees have a hard time managing customers & keeping orders straight. Ok food with bad service. Much better options within 100 yards on same street. Location is a bit dive-y for a $5 slice. Sea Bright has some great restaurants within 100 yards. Gigi's & Sonny's were a sea bright institution for years. Pains me to write this.

Adding fresh sliced jalapeños would help deliver the heat and flavor that a spicy margarita should have. Fried Calamari Appetizer - The calamari tasted like a store-bought product rather than freshly prepared. The portion was also surprisingly small, especially considering it was served with two fairly large containers of dipping sauce. Surf and Turf - The steak tenderloins were overcooked, and the shrimp were also on the overcooked side. The scallops, however, were cooked well. Overall, the dish lacked seasoning and could have benefited from more salt and flavor. Eggplant Parmesan - The pasta was undercooked, and the eggplant was sliced so thin that the breading overwhelmed the actual eggplant flavor. On a positive note, the sauce had good flavor and was the highlight of the dish. Service - Our server was friendly and pleasant, but rarely checked on our table throughout the meal. The food runners also seemed disengaged; when we thanked them, they simply stared at the table without acknowledging us. Additionally, one server's attire appeared unprofessional for the dining environment, which detracted from the overall experience. Overall, I would not recommend this place for more than bar food (Pizza, burgers, & beers).

The crust was crispy yet soft and unbelievable - no flop! The pizza was savory and had the perfect dollops of ricotta. The cheese wasn't slopping off, everything stayed together nicely. It even had a unique crust that had "everything but the bagel" seasoning encrusted on top. I normally don't go for a white pizza but seeing this at first glance I just felt gravitated to try it and I'm glad I did! This is a great family operated pizzeria.
