Got recommended to tint my ride and not very happy with the results, definitely got what I paid for I guess. Bad quality tint and all of the edges aren't straight, there's even a gap where light can enter through that they tried to hide with a small strip of tint. read more

My son recommended Tintmyride. I am also not happy very with the the results. Air bubbles under the tint and leftover pieces from the previous tint job left under the new tint. I would NOT recommend Tintmyride to anyone. The best I can tell you is if you have any pride in your ride stay away from this business. read more

I had my windows tinted when I first bought my car 5 years ago and felt great about spending $200 especially with the Warranty. 5 years later, my old tint was wrinkled and faded and they replaced it with a far superior tint for no charge! These guys will tint your car, but it is not going to leave you feeling like you got any kind if bang out of your bucks. I brought in a 2019 honda accord with a confirmed appt for 5 rear windows (VT legal). They got right to my car, timing was no issue at all. I went out to inspect the completed job and they had tinted 7 windows, even after we verbally confirmed only a legal tint. (I hate getting pulled over and avoid it at all costs.) He asked me if I wanted to keep it and said Id be charged for 7, then acted deflated when I said no I REALLY want it to be legal, as Id stated in my appt request online, as well as verbally communicated. As we wrapped up the appt, I realized there was another person waiting for their time and got a strong vibe that they were rushing me out to get them in. I received zero explanation about how to clean, or what to expect in drying process. (Keep in mind that I tipped an extra $60 because it looked amazing while it was still wet.). As it was drying over the next 2 days, I texted them to get some clarification about what to do about the incredible amount of smudging and imperfections that showed up, and still to this day never have gotten a reply. My car does look great from a distance, but I feel very cheated for paying $300 for a very standard tint job that is FULL of spottiness (every window) and even some poor edging on one window. Sucks for them because I have many people ask for a referral and I will continue to steer them away and find someone that doesnt overbook while sacrificing easy attention to detail. Phil at TMR does top-notch, professional grade work! I used him many years ago when he used to work out of Champ's Car Wash in the early 2000's and had great results for my car tint. I used him again in Essex recently and I was VERY pleased with his work. The tint has held up very well, doesn't turn purple or fade, no bubbles, and was cut perfectly. He really is an artist with his craft. Anyone who has tried to do tint themselves knows that it can be tricky and it's very hard to have it come out half as well as Phil can do. Lost money as they would not accept more than 1 gift certificate. I had received two for my b-day. Doesn't say only one may be used per car on the certificate or in their shop. Mis-cut front driver's window near "A" pillar badly. Didn't install a new sheet. You can still can see the outside as if not tinted. Rear driver's side didn't get cleaned well as there is a large amount of oem-secrurity sticker residue from a sticker which was peeled off, then tinted over. Doesn't seem very professional. Matt's work on the hatch seemed fine. Phil's front work..not so much. Lots of waves and bubbles, we'll see if they come out when the water evaporates in a few days.
