I had the windows on my work truck tinted here. The entire crew was amazing and the work was completed quickly and the job was perfect. Tom the manager was super awesome and I look forward to having another vehicle done and maybe even some residential tinting done. Thanks guys you are the best in the business Bob C Chicago

United Tires - Saturday is for mounting four used tires from utires.com at United Tires!

    Dunning

I had read several negative things online about United Tires, but here is my actual experience. I…read moredrive a 2026 Tesla Model Y, and my rear driver-side tire punctured twice within 6-7 months. The second puncture was only 8 inches away from the first--just bad luck, I guess. I went to Pep Boys to have it patched, but they told me they couldn't do it because the two punctures were too close together. They quoted me nearly $450 to order and install the original tire, a Pirelli Scorpion MS. I wasn't sure what to do, so I told them to order it, but I decided to search online for other options in the meantime. When I got home, a friend suggested United Tires. I found a new Pirelli Scorpion MS on their website for around $200, tax included. Initially, I didn't believe it and was very skeptical. After doing some research, I learned that while United Tires mainly sells used tires, they also sell new ones. I contacted them to verify the condition and the DOT date; they confirmed the tire was new with a DOT of 3325, making it about 8 months old. I placed the order, and the tire arrived via FedEx within 4-5 days. It didn't have any packaging--just the tire itself with the FedEx and United Tires stamps on it. I took the tire directly to Pep Boys to see if they would install it. They scheduled me for the next day but warned me that the tire had to be brand new. I assured them it was. Upon inspection, the tire showed no damage: the internal sound-absorbing foam was clean, the factory stripes were still on the outside, and the treads were a perfect 10/32. Even so, the clerk at the desk saw the United Tires label and told me that since the company mostly sells used tires, the shop might refuse to install it. I went home and removed all the shipping stickers from the tire. When I returned to Pep Boys the next day, I waited an hour for the installation and this time, no one said a word--most likely because I had removed the stickers. It has been a week now, I've driven about 200 miles, and the tire hasn't displayed any issues. One thing for Tesla owners to note: my car initially gave a "Tread Depth Low" priority notification and felt a bit jerky on Autosteer because the new tire was taller than the worn ones. However, once I went into the Service menu on the touchscreen and performed a wheel calibration reset, everything smoothed out and the alerts disappeared. I can't speak for their used inventory, but the new tire I received was solid. Pep Boys and other retailers were charging double what I paid at United Tires. I suspect the price difference exists because many new Tesla owners immediately replace their default tires with specialized ones, creating a surplus of new stock for Florida drivers like me. It was definitely new and saved me a lot of money. Just my story. Cheers!

I…read morebought the car back and talked to one of the managers named Tom how promised if I bring it back on Friday before 1:00 PM they would make sure I am satisfied. Left work early so I can take the car before 1:00PM and they took the car in then he gave me the expert news. He said the sensor was not broken by them therefore I have to pay for it. This guy does not belong as a manager anywhere near a tire shop. He greets people with this shit attitude then changes his mind about fixing something they broke. I will never ever set foot in this place again. My car is a Mercedes C300 Black just to make sure he knows who wrote the review.

The work that was proposed was very different than what I received. When I inquired about the subpar work, calls were not returned..... months went by and the situation is not yet resolved. I've given up because it's just not worth the frustration anymore. I am hoping that this helps anyone thinking about spending money with these guys..... Get everything in writing!!! Please!!!! Clowns I brought my truck to A Trendz for suspension work…read morewith a clear focus on safety and long-term reliability. I specifically discussed replacing key components such as leaf springs, shackles, and bushings, and also mentioned the possibility of a lift kit during the process. Unfortunately, all I got was a lift the work performed did not reflect what was discussed. The majority of the requested suspension components were not addressed. Existing bushings were left in place, and my passenger-side splash guard was removed and never reinstalled. Communication throughout the process was poor. I was never contacted to review the scope of work, confirm parts being used, or approve any changes. I had to repeatedly call for updates, and even then, the information provided was vague and inconsistent. At no point was there any transparency regarding what parts were installed or why certain items were not replaced. Additionally, tires were installed, yet the tire pressure warning light remains on, raising further concerns about the completeness of the service. Upon pickup, the final cost exceeded the original quote without prior discussion or approval. No walkthrough of the work was provided -- I was simply asked to pay and given the keys. Given that suspension work directly impacts vehicle safety, this level of service, communication, and execution is unacceptable. I cannot recommend A Trendz based on this experience.

I called on other competitors and asking them specifically what the process was down to the exact details, I was horrified one competitor said they simply wipe the frame down if there is some road grime no big deal! I was like "no way! No way will I take my truck here. After speaking to Bob at this Ziebart location he was very nice, friendly, and he explained the entire process. Without even asking he told me the first thing they do is power wash the entire undercarriage and they inspect for any pre-existing rust which at that point they use rust eliminator to nutraulize that. They do this so you are not covering the rust up with the undercoating which makes sense. Then they rust proof the doors with a yellow like wax color while the undercarriage is drying then they spray the entire undercarriage. After that they wash the vehicle then they double check for missed spots. I paid $649 got the special and with Tax and county fees it was $740 dollars around. All and all I am very glad I got this procedure done. I was hesitating for a bit, not wanting to spend $700 but I plan on keeping this truck for 10 plus years so I decided it's the right thing to do. I strongly encourage anyone regardless if your vehicle is galvanized from factory, this is a great way to extend the life of your car.

I had a few questions about the type of undercoating they use and whether there were less damaging options in case it ever chipped. The answers I got felt rushed and vague, and then they just stopped replying altogether. I ended up doing the job myself with Fluid Film and Cosmoline. It was definitely messier and probably not as thorough as a pro could do, but I didn't feel confident they'd take the time or care to do it right. Disappointing.
