Fat chicken breast tossed in maple bourbon buffalo sauce, with maple aioli and pickles, served on a soft bun!
Cheryl M.

The food is DELICIOUS! We had a large order for 30+ people. The service was a little slow but it was worth the wait. The staff are all friendly and accommodating. If you want them To pull up to your event or your office give them a call or check out their schedule. Thank me later!

Tender Lovin' and Wedges with ranch

Food is Bomb! I tried the Tender Lovin' strips, which were breaded and tossed in their signature maple bourbon buffalo sauce. It was delectable. The chicken was fresh and moist, and the sweetness of the sauce really played well with the seasoning. The light fry added the perfect crisp to seal in the moist of the chicken. The wedges were small but tasty however my ranch wasn't ranching. The chicken made the meal. I really enjoyed it.

Very friendly people! Ordered the Mac Attack. Tasty tots, love the cheese on the Mac n cheese, and the sauce on the tenders is delicious. Looking forward to trying other menu items.

stopped here when here was at Armored Cow for Food Truck Friday during Ms Ashley's Donut Love Fest and found the chicken and waffle remarkably satisfying instead of utterly disappointing (almost every prior C&W was like a tragic fiction meant to diminish my funds while crushing my soul) but this was actually good... very good... so good in fact that I intend to have at least one more because, well, you know... chicken... and waffles... my plate held a respectable and an appropriately sized chunk o' breaded bird served up between a pair of thick silver dollar waffles; waffles were solid but not heavy and the chicken was crisp and moist and tasted like chicken instead of an explosion at the herb pantry... nice cup o' syrup and ranch on the side, good for dipping separately and plenty enough to indulge oneself. oh, and a tiny biscuit that ate like one twice its size :-) yumm!

This was my first time trying out The Tiny Biscuit.i ordered the two piece tenders and a biscuit, with a southern egg roll. The tenders were crispy on the outside and juicy and flavorful inside. They paired well with the biscuit. I'll admit when I saw the biscuit, I thought it was small. Tiny if you will... then it dawned on me about the name of the food truck. Duh! After biting it, it was so soft, buttery, and dense. Tiny biscuit, big flavor! The southern egg rolls were crispy and flavorful. The mac and cheese flowed perfectly with the collards. I'd definitely order it again. The food is made to order, so there will be a bit of a wait. For me, it was about 10 minutes. The staff was friendly and helpful. If you're in the area, check out the Tiny Biscuit.

What the Cluck

The food is made fresh to order which is always welcomed. The Mac Attack is definitely a feature favorite from the truck with the crispy tater tot's on the bottom with gooey macaroni, sauced up tenders, and chives. The meal comes with bacon bits as well but I don't eat pork. Both of the Fish Sandwich's are made with real fish, which elevates the experience a lot. The fish sandwich is well seasoned & comes with 2 fillets so it's a good portion too. The regular fries and sweet potato fries are good as well. The branding for Tiny Biscuit is top tier as well with the containers & bag. They are located outside of Armor Cow Brewery, so after you get your food, you can go inside and eat in the AC. They also have table outside for people to be seated.

I anted something quick for dinner last night, so I decided to try The Tiny Biscuit. This is a food truck that is normally parked at the Armored Cow Brewery off WT Harris. I chose the chicken & waffle slider, Brussels and potato wedges. So so good! The slider was chicken breast fried perfectly. The waffles were light & fluffy. My wedges were so fresh and piping hot. Just like I prefer! They were lightly salted. Now, let's discuss their Brussels. The perfect amount or glaze and not too greasy ... or overcooked. I will definitely be back to try another menu entree.

Roaming Fork One of…read morethe original food trucks to start the food truck scene in Charlotte NC, Roaming Fork Food Truck is offering some delicious eats. I just happen to be working in the area where Roaming Fork sets up on Thursdays out in Ballantyne and was able to grab some tasty lunch. The menu is varied and even has an Asian flare! I went with the recommendation of the cashier. I got the Porky Cheesy and the Truffle fries. The grill cheese had a good crunch and a good amount of filling. I love anytime you mix bbq pork and cheese and this didn't disappoint. The truffle fries get squirted with truffle oil after they come out the grease and have an amazing aroma. I liked the flavor but I love fries with a condiment so I felt like the fries could have used some ranch dipping sauce. The menu has a lot of items I would like to try. Hopefully I'm back in the area where they are located and can give them another try soon. Roaming Fork Thursday October 24, 2019 1pm

These folks may not give you forks, but they know what they're doing! Service has always been friendly and helpful, despite how busy the line can get. The cubanos are amazing - I've gotten the original and also the BBQuban. The OG is super solid, but OMG that BBQ one is just delectable and a great texture. Trust me. Try it. They also have the best yucca fries I've probably ever had. My issue with most yucca fries is that the texture tends to be pretty tough, but these are so soft inside - like they mashed the yucca first and then formed the fries. I don't know what magic they use, but they're incredible, and you must get some. We also got a churro filled with dulce de leche, and it came out nice and hot with lots of cinnamon sugar coating. I didn't love the dulce de leche filling for some reason - maybe I got spoiled by spending time in Argentina - so next time I'll likely go for the regular churro.

I follow these guys on Twitter and was always hoping they'd camp out in the Southpark area one day to draw a lunch crowd. To no avail, I was forced to wait until this weekend! Happy to find these guys at Small Bar in the NC Music Factory for PBR Fest. Churning out pizza and wings for the beer crowd. I had heard multiple cheers of praise and glory about this truck's pizza and wings. I was even a little intimidated approaching the order window. The staff were all very friendly and helpful with describing all of the menu items. We ended up getting two slices of cheese, a slice of the buffalo chicken and 5 Carolina Buffalo wings. We sat down with 24oz tallboys in hand and went to town. I was happy to say that the wings are AWESOME. Perfectly cooked, a little crispy on the outside, not dry, tender, slathered generously with amazing sauce. The Carolina Buffalo is a winner. Mustard-based bbq with a plethora of buffalo sauce thrown in. My taste buds were happy. Uhh...they need to make a Carolina Buffalo pizza. (No brainer, yeah?) The only thing that sank my happy sailing dinner experience was the pizza. A little lackluster and the sauce was a bit reminiscent of box pizza from the frozen section in the grocery store. Maybe our slices had been sitting out for a bit, but didn't have the freshest of textures. I did appreciate the crust and enjoyed sopping up the remainder of the wing sauce with them. I can't say that the pizza was banging on all cylinders or a culinary breakthrough, but is definitely reliable. The combo of wings and pizza in one meal from the street, though? Baller status. Grab a tallboy and it's all over. Foodtruck heaven. So happy to have finally tried these guys out and can't wait to see them at Chowdown Uptown in the near future! Carolina Buffalo Pizza, guys! Let's see it happen! Cheers.
