I cannot say enough great things about Tiny Digs!! We stayed for three nights in Arthur and had a great experience. It is such a cute space and the attention to detail with the decor is spot on! The neighborhood is nice with tons of places to grab a bite!! We came from spending time at the beach so had alot of luggage and really did not feel cramped in our tiny home! My husband is 6'1" and did struggle a bit with getting up into bed but not enough to negatively affect our opinion of the hotel! We knew we had booked a tiny house, so it was to be expected. The owners were super friendly and Pam even let us tour the Cottage as it was still unoccupied. She chatted with is about the new homes that had just opened and the new home they have acquired. (Can't wait to see how that one turns out!!) All in all, Tiny Digs is a great spot to stay in Portland. I highly recommend it!!

Right now, I'm currently sitting in a Cramped, 20 foot tiny gypsy house In Portland, Oregon On a 4 foot tall bed crammed with Myself, our baby on my lap, Our overly-anxious dog, Laying on top of my feet And my spouse on their computer In front of them doing their coursework. There is a mad-hatters-looking lamp That looks like something out of Alice in Wonderland Tilted in an alarming way Resting on the mattress Because the light above the bed Didn't work and we had to improvise. My finger is pulsing due to an encounter with an Exposed nail in the riveted decoration Of a wobbly green tufted foot stool That we had to use as a step-stool To get on the bed. It's dark outside And there is a rhythmic slow pinging noise Every four-or-so seconds Coming from somewhere near The windows. After a close inspection, Jaime declared To our relief that it was not leaking rain inside But rather just the water running off the roof And hitting a hollow pipe On the outside of the trailer And it was echoing inwards. We just did a quick check-in with each other And we are both exhausted And feeling stressed. We had to haul in Every single item that we brought with us On our 14+ day trip Into the tiny house After we received a welcome email Strongly encouraging us to bring All of our belongings inside. Paired with barbed wire Above the property fence, This does not help to provide The relaxing experience We were hoping for After a long day of travel. Unsure of how they have such high reviews...unless they delete the bad ones?

My fiancé and I went on a cross-country trip and Tiny Digs was where we stayed when we were in Portland and we cannot recommend it enough! The owners were so welcoming and sweet, complimentary coffee was provided and the firepits and string lights in the middle of the community added to the relaxation of our stay. Each tiny home had a different theme and we chose to stay in The Beach tiny house because of the sleek look of it with the pops of beautiful turquoise throughout the home. 10/10 recommend!

Visiting from out of town and decided to stay in a tiny house. OMG I loved it. What an experience to add to our vacation. Fun for kids too, grandson love the loft bed. You have everything you need for a comfortable stay. There's a kitchen if you would like to cook a small meal or prepare some snacks. Ours had a full bathroom and the shower was a good size. Each tiny house had its own theme. There is modern, log cabin, zen, cottage, beach house, gypsy, and box car. We were in the box car and it was true to its there. Lighting fixtures and small details all made it a great experience. I highly recommend staying here at once you will not be disappointed. Once your inside outdoor noise is minimal. There is also a center area with a fire pit and games for gatherings. Only good things to say. Love, Love, Love.

Very cute!! I was working my way up and down the coast and I am currently staying south of there, in Salem, Oregon. The registration girls knew exactly where I had just come from -- they asked me which Cabin I stayed in. Pam, the hosts and her husband were very receptive and welcoming. She double check to make sure I had everything that I needed. It was so cute I had my own little tiny, teeny cabin to myself which was actually larger than a hotel room. The price was the same as a regular hotel room, why not? I was doing my research online and found this place and had liked it so much, I stayed two nights instead of just the first night. Each room had ample electrical outlets and the Wi-Fi was very very strong signal. Negatives? There were none. There was no TV. But with their great WiFi signal, we could've received anything via Wi-Fi... Netflix... Hulu, whatever. I did have a few things to do for work and I have no problem logging into the system using my laptop but I was not about to watch Netflix. I'm on vacation!!

How many people can say that they've actually stayed in a tiny house?! It really is an experience that you won't forget. My hubby and I were looking for an affordable place to stay in Portland, and this was just as affordable as the lower ranged hotels. I am so happy we did this because it is so "Portland" and it was actually in a great safe place. Sure; towards the end my 6'5 hubby and I were really missing our king sized bed, but we loved the option of choosing our own tiny house style (we went with the modern one) and we learned that we could never live in a tiny home in real life! We really did have a magical stay and you should try this place out too!

Amazing amazing experience! Hands down, best value/location/ weather/ service... every detail was beautifully executed and on theme! I can't believe how beautiful it was in person and can't wait to go back. It was by far the best deal out of all hotels in Portland and the tiny home location is in a safe cute quirky neighborhood. I simply asked for a later time to check out due to a sake festival we attended.. we were promptly given a later check out time!!!

Tiny Digs is the spot to stay in Portland. It's in a hip, bustling area with restaurants and bars popping up all the time. It's walking distance to two different Niketown bike spots, which are arguably the best way to see Portland. The beach cottage was well-outfitted (makeup wipes, fresh coffee, etc...) and super clean. My boyfriend and I were surprised at how comfortable the mattress was in the tiny home. We met the owner on Friday night who showed up around (let us peek in a new home) and told us about her husband's building project... he's built all the homes except one. These homes are not for everyone, however. Before staying in Beach, make sure you're comfortable with walking up and down a tall, steep ladder to get to the loft. Also, it would be quite challenging to cook in them as they're not really fitted with enough dishes to cook a meal.

No drama, no confusion, just keys in hand and off you go. The building itself has that great old Portland movie-era charm. It feels like the kind of place where a film star from the 1940s might walk around the corner at any moment looking for a martini. Instead it's usually just me looking for the elevator, but still... the vibe is excellent. Parking is on the next block over and surprisingly easy, which in Portland counts as a minor miracle. I've spent more time looking for parking at grocery stores. Now let's talk about the Driftwood Bar. Do not skip it. Curt the bartender is the kind of guy who makes you want to cancel your plans and just sit there all evening solving the world's problems over a well-made drink. Friendly, funny, and he actually knows how to make a proper cocktail. I wish I had more time to just saddle up to the bar and chat with him. Breakfast at Gracie's was also great. Our waitress Erin took care of us Wednesday morning when the place was mostly empty. Service was friendly, the food looked like someone actually cared when they put it on the plate, and the prices were totally reasonable. No $38 "artisanal avocado toast with existential despair." Just good breakfast done right. So what more do you want? Comfortable clean bed, reasonable prices, great bar, solid breakfast, and you're right in the heart of Portland. If you're staying in the city and want a hotel with character instead of a bland corporate sleep box, Hotel Deluxe is the move. I'll definitely be back...

After my stay, I had left my hairdryer in the room. The next day I called hoping they would be able to ship it to me. Cat (Kat?) answered the phone and said she found it. I know she found it because she also asked if I had left a brush, which I did. She said she could ship it, but just needed me to pay for shipping first, asked for my email, and said she would send an email to handle that. I never received an email. After a few days, I asked my mom, who is local, if she could just go down and pick it up since I was heading out of the country for a week. She went down to the hotel, but was told they didn't have it. Not only that but there were no notes in the system about it either. Zero information about my previous call or that they were waiting for payment to ship it. So I again called and got Thomas who searched everywhere and couldn't find it any longer. I asked for a manager to call me, this was 2 days ago. Still no call. I can only assume at this point that an employee stole my expensive hair dryer, which is why there were no notes about it and I never received any emails. I'd avoid this hotel in the future. Update 4/30/2026: Since posting this review, the situation has gotten significantly worse. On April 13, I received an automated text from ILeftMyStuff, the hotel's own lost and found system, confirming my hair dryer and brush were found and logged on March 1. I paid for return shipping through their system that same day and never received my items. On April 19 I called and spoke with a staff member named Claudia who confirmed the hotel had my items and would ship them. She later walked that back, saying she had only assumed they were there because they appeared on an internal list. I had previously requested a manager call me back. That call never came. Today the hotel is claiming the items were disposed of on April 1. This is the same staff member, Cat, who originally found my items and confirmed she had them. When my mother went to the hotel in person and when I called, we were both told they had no record of the items whatsoever. They did not notify me before disposing of them despite having my contact information on file from my original call. Note that my original review was posted last month, before April 1 when they supposedly "disposed" of my items.

There's a restaurant on the 15th floor that had a line at the elevator because they wanted to access it without a key, and I think that's what kept the elevator area busy.
