Really great little spot by the west lake center. Fish quality was really great and the price point was a steal. The restaurant itself is very tiny, 6 seats at tables and 4 at the sushi bar. I imagine they do a ton of takeout. The food waitstaff was so friendly and efficient. I can't wait to go again
The most amazing dinner at Tiny Sushi. Location is tiny only fitting up to 12 people at a time. The sushi is anything but tiny. Big flavors and presentation is alone 5 stars! No wait times for dinner towards closing hours. Chirashi Bowl and Omakase 10 piece is enough for four person party. So good!

Do I dare say that this is my favorite sushi spot in the San Francisco Bay area? Tiny Sushi is, well, tiny! The restaurant only has like two tables and small counter that seats like four people. The food however, has major flavor! That assorted sashimi rice bowl I had had plenty of premium cuts, large pieces, and some of the freshest fish that you could get in the Bay Area. They come with a miso soup and small salad as well. There are also other things on the menu that you can try like the jewel box and rolls, but I'll definitely be craving this bowl, and am wanting to come back very soon!
Tiny Sushi Oh Baby is still delivering the goods in terms of the food, with the Hamachi Truffle standing out for how balanced the flavors are as well as how generously cut the hamachi is. The Angry Fish roll offers a great contrast of flavors, textures, and spice, and the omakase impresses not only with its gorgeous presentation but with how consistently tasty each piece is. I especially love that they pair the fried head with the amaebi, which is a must for me. The staff were super friendly as usual, which I always appreciate. That said, I do have to dock a star for a health and hygiene concern that really stood out to me. A group was allowed to bring a dog inside and sit it under one of the tables, which felt especially inappropriate in such a tiny space. Beyond the obvious cleanliness/health code concerns, it also seems like a potential issue for guests with allergies or aversions to animals. That just does not feel professional, and I hope the owners take steps to make sure something like this does not happen again in the future.
I have been wanting to try this place ever since it took over Tani's spot. There are things I really missed from Tani's but the "new" replacement is lovely addition to our neighborhood too. It is still a tiny shop. This place only has sushi on the menu. It is the perfect spot to grab a deluxe lunch on the rare glorious September-in-March/April weather here in Daly City. Price is definitely on the expensive side. But I guess it also reflects the changes here in Daly City too. Tani used to be the only Japanese restaurant in the Westlake shopping center and now we have 3 Japanese restaurants including Tiny Sushi! I ordered the famous Sushi Box. My biggest surprise is not the quality of the fish (frankly I expect to be good when I am paying this much), but I was impressed by the sushi rice and the seaweed!! I really like how they seasoned the sushi rice here. Oh, and they don't use the typical yaki nori, but I was served with seaweed sheet that is similar to Gamtae (the Korean seaweed that has a moss-like texture). Only my pre-diabetics body made me stop from finishing the whole Sushi Box all by myself. It's so delicious and satisfying. The Baby sushi Box is definitely meant to be shared :) If you are Daly City residents who have a strong craving for some decent quality sushi/specialty's rolls but don't want to drive into the city, this place is definitely worth a visit. Come here on a weekday for the first seating if you don't want to wait!!
I've been here a few times now, though I honestly can't recall what I ordered on my previous visits. This time around, I ordered the sushi taco and a chirashi bowl while my friend got the other chirashi option, I think its the deluxe chirashi. Overall, the experience was decent, but a bit of a mixed bag. On the positive side, the service was good. Because the restaurant is quite small, they were very mindful of the timing between serving our appetizers and our entrees, which I really appreciated. Food-wise, it was okay, but I was a little disappointed. I didn't care for the tuna, and the salmon was just meh. My main critique is that there was way too much rice in the chirashi bowl. While some might see that as a plus for value, the sashimi-to-rice ratio was personally way off for me. It's decent quality, but definitely not the best. That said, I wouldn't mind coming back again to try other things.
No wait on a random weekday afternoon at lunch time. Be warned that this is a small place. There are 3 tables that can fit a party of two and then about 4 counter seats. Parking is inside Westlake shopping center, this restaurants opening faces the street. We really ordered with our eyes and we were so full! We started off with crispy fish tacos , really yummy seaweed cracker that holds the fish. My partner had the deluxe chirashi and I had the Oh baby box! It was good value for the money and they do include a lot of sushi rice. The fish is super fresh and they do not skimp on the cuts! We were both so full we had to take leftovers home! They packed up it nicely for us. Such a treat, thank you!

The space is very small, with three tables that seat two or three people and four stools at the counter. We ordered two rolls, the Oh Baby and Mango Salmon, as well as the sushi tacos. The quality and texture of the fish were good. Our favorite of the three dishes was the Mango Salmon roll. The mango paired nicely with the salmon, and the salmon itself was soft and buttery. The sushi tacos were enjoyable as well. The nori shell was crispy and added a nice texture, but I felt like the sauce was a little overpowering and took away from some of the other flavors and ingredients. Overall, we enjoyed our meal and appreciated the quality of the fish. It's a small spot, but worth checking out if you're in the area.
Like the sign says, this place is indeed TINY, with just a couple of tables and at best, five or six stools along the dining counter. but ya know what? This little place delivers much of the same ambiance as those teeny hole in the wall restaurants we ate in in Japan. More importantly, I loved the sushi here, and the server Jack is definitely personable and look after you. We decided upon the Blue Fin Tuna Nigiri, Baked Baby Scallop Roll and Mango Salmon Roll. All were excellent. PRO TIP: If you like Mango in your sushi, this place has tons of choices. The fish is super fresh and delightful upon the palate, Sushi rice was on point too. Yes, I look forward to coming back here soon.

Oh baby box is better than the de luxe Chirashi. The rice was too sour for me. Service is great . Not crowded today. Quiet and relaxing.
So happy to have been able to snag a to-go order a couple of weeks ago on a Wednesday. I showed up a couple minutes early for my to-go and the waitstaff was so kind and gave me a small bite + miso soup to shake the cold off. The establishment is quaint but the detail to food is both appetizing for the eyes and the tongue. 65$ for bowl I ordered, everything was tasty, fresh and hit the spot. I highly recommend for fish lovers and those who enjoy a quiet but tasty dinner.
We went early around 4:30pm and got a spot after waiting 20 min. However people didn't need to wait after we got in so depends on if it's full or not. For two people we got three rolls and a box. The box was delicious and we really liked the scallop roll! Some of the sushi was repetitive since the inside was the same. Overall really delicious and fast to come out. read more
Living in San Francisco all my life I am spoiled with lots of places which have sushi. You can find sushi in almost any neighborhood in SF especially in Japantown. Sushi is one of the few foods you can eat when it's hot and the sun does not go until after 8pm. I decided to explore the next door neighbor of San Francisco of Daly City to find some sushi. There is a spot at Daly City which is located in the cuts of the Westlake Shopping Center. It's called Tiny Sushi -Oh Baby. On a Summer August stroll in the cuts of Westlake Shopping Center I landed at Tiny Sushi - Oh Baby. Inside has limited seating and it is called Tiny Sushi for a reason. I first ordered the Mango Salmon roll and it was tasty not too sweet and the salmon was very fresh. I then got the Ferrari roll and was delicious and it came with Japanese caviar bumps. I then got the heart attack roll with crab, spicy tuna, and cream cheese. Lastly got the Oh Baby Box which had Hokkaido Scallop, Seared Salmon , Real Crab Meat and Japanese caviar bumps. Overall a good place in Daly City to grab sushi. We recently moved to the neighborhood and we were so excited when we found Tiny Sushi and gave them a try on Christmas Eve! The place is cozy and gives off a very personal vibe, it is decorated with love and the staff was very friendly. The food took some time since it was clearly made with love, we got the normal and deluxe chirashi, along with sushi tacos and two sushi rolls. Everything was spectacular. We have had sushi tacos before, but those all tasted and used cheap ingredients, Tiny Sushi used HQ ingredients even just for the appetizer. The sushi rolls were packed with fish and flavor. And the chirashis were well worth the money! Packed with different types of sashimi, rarer fish, and very fresh. Can't wait to come back to try even more off of their impressive menu! Arrived early right around opening time, 4:30pm on Saturday. Small restaurant, however i've heard many good things and was excited to try. After we ordered, we were given miso soup and salad and a small tasting of torched hamachi (so good and fresh) ordered the Double toro (tuna) and the deluxe chirashi bowl to share. The double toro was melt in our mouths. Really good! the chirashi bowl had amazing presentation. the rice itself was unlike anything i've had before. It was delicious! we finished everything. the service was great too because plates were constantly removed from our tab upon completion. Very attentive. highly recommend. Pricey, but we decided on date night for a splurge. Would definitely come back! read more

I never take pictures of food, I feel it usually detracts from the overall dining experience. However, I made an exception yesterday, as this dish was just too beautiful to not capture the moment it was set in front of me. Behold the beauty of the "Tiny Sushi Oh Baby!" chirashi bowl! For $60 you get amazingly perfect fish, all of them nice big slices set atop what I think was a lightly truffled rice. Holy moly it was good! Can't wait to go back. Yay!!! read more

Tiny Sushi Oh Baby is located at the Westlake Shopping Center and is literally a hole in the wall. You have to walk to the outside of the mall past Nations Burger and turn right. It's a small restaurant with 2-3 tables and a small counter. There is usually a line and since it's so small the wait can take awhile so I recommend either going early or ordering to go. Despite that, it offers fantastic sushi and sashimi. Their signature is the Oh Baby Box. It's very unique and I haven't found anything like that in the Bay Area. It consists of a box served with a mix of premium sashimi which includes uni, kokkaido scallops, seared salmon toro, crab meat, ikura (salmon fish eggs), and sushi rice. Make sure to ask for some seaweed where you can take a piece of seaweed, put some rice and sashimi over for a nice bite! The deluxe chirashi bowl is also a good choice which more sashimi fish selections. All the rolls are solid too and I specifically enjoy the Angry Fish. There is a good selection of beer and sakes if you are into that as well. Since the place is so small, you are pretty much coming here for the food and not the service / atmosphere. read more
Finally got to try this place! Ordered pickup through DoorDash on a Friday night, and my order was ready right on time. I was also really happy to see the prices were the same as their own online menu. Always nice when it's not marked up on third-party apps! The fish quality was so good! Super fresh, thick cuts, and really tender with no fishy taste. You can definitely tell they use high-quality ingredients. It's on the pricier side, so not a budget sushi spot, but totally worth it for the quality. The fresh wasabi was a fun touch. It wasn't quite like the kind I've had in Japan, but still way better than the usual paste. Portions were generous and honestly more than enough for two people. If you're looking for a "treat yourself" kind of sushi meal, this spot is 100% worth checking out! read more
I was in the area and I had 2 hours before I had to go work, so I thought I'd have dinner here before I go. I ordered the deluxe chirashi (15pcs) which also came with a side of salad, miso soup, and sushi rice. The chirashi looks gorgeous. I almost didn't want to eat it because it was plated so nicely lol. The food also tasted as good as it looked. As the name of the restaurant suggests, the restaurant is very tiny. There are 3 small tables inside for 2 and 4 bar seats. Tucked away on the side of Westlake Plaza is this hidden gem of a restaurant. The place doesn't seat many people and is quite a tight space. Thankfully it wasn't busy on a Saturday evening, so we were seated quickly. My girl friend and I both ordered the chirashi deluxe. It took quite some time to come out, over 20 minutes. However, the food itself was really delicious. The fish was very fresh and high quality. They had toro, uni, ama-ebi, and much more. This was the first chirashi bowl that actually left me full with some pieces left over. I would definitely come back to this restaurant to try more. read more

Down here for work and been craving sushi and came across this place. First it's tiny, and by the name of the place makes sense! This place may be tiny but the selection and taste of the sushi is anything but. Got the omakase which was priced right and tasted amazing! Also got the 2 handroll special and they were fire but the special handroll would be the better of the 2. They also carry a great selection of sake and beer. Service here was nothing but amazing as good as it can get, my server was lovely and very attentive! I'll be working here for a month so this won't be my last time here and will be back soon, thank you for the experience. Amazing read more
As the name suggests, this sushi restaurant was pretty tiny that can seat maybe 10-15 people max. Service was great and staff was really flexible and understanding. The table next to us had two children that only wanted one specific roll and the staff was willing to make it for them despite it already passing the last call mark. The fish was decent quality and you get exactly what you order with no surprises. I found the mango salmon roll to be quite interesting with mango sauce on top of the roll. The mango sauce is similar to ones you might find in a mango drink but not as sweet. read more

This is a very small restaurant with only three tables and three seats at the bar, but they serve really good sushi and sashimi. The quality of the food was impressive, and everything tasted fresh and well prepared. The prices are on the higher side, but I honestly think it's worth it for both the quality and the portion size you get. If you enjoy good sushi, this place is definitely worth trying. read more
I came on a good day. Random weekday dinner and we started pretty early, like 5:30? This spot used to be Tani's Kitchen, also a good Japanese spot. The shop is pretty tiny, like 3 tables and some bar seats; we were lucky to be seated immediately. We were seated in the corner table, right by the door, do grab a jacket in case you get that table, the wind from the door opening and closing isn't fun. The table was so tiny, we had to play Tetris with the food and water cups. My friend and I got the omakase, the presentation was amazing, very grammable. The ingredients were all very fresh. They give a good variety, none of the fish were too rare or anything. It's not as cheap as it was first advertised, but this was still a good meal. We were both full and only had some space for boba. It's worthy for the occasional splurge in this day and age. read more
Bae got us takeout from here a few times on nights I didn't feel like cooking. Love the variety of items in the chirashi box and the inclusion of uni. A bit on the pricier side but you do get what you pay for - freshness, premium fish in the boxes and good portions. The sushi isn't tiny but the interior is! We waited 10 minutes before opening to secure a 4 top and was seated right away. The sushi here is really tasty. Perfectly seasoned rice with fresh fish and quality ingredients. Nothing over seasoned or sauced. The Oh Baby box is a popular order and is perfect for sharing in groups. I had fun making my own hand rolls. The nigiri (amaebi and seared salmon toro) were also a highlight with melt in your mouth cuts of fish. read more
I found this hole in the wall from Instagram, and although they don't take reservations, we were able to get bar seating on a Friday evening. We got the deluxe chirashu bowl and 10 piece omakase nigiri ($60 each), and about half of the fish selection overlapped. Presentation was gorgeous! I liked that each piece of fish was dressed lightly in some mild sauce, so no soy sauce was needed. The fish was fresh, and the slices were big and thick except for the smaller amaebi/sweet shrimp. The uni was deliciously sweet, and the scallops were buttery. In terms of the fish variety and quantity, I'd get the deluxe chirashi over the omakase. My main complaint is that the rice had too much vinegar, making the texture dense and the flavor sour. Eating the rice actually took away from the fish. read more
I wish Yelp has half star options because I think Tiny sushi is a solid 4.5 star in my book. As the name states, it's TINY! The whole place has 3 tables and a sushi bar for seating, that's it. Since I know the wait could be long, we came here on the earlier side to avoid waiting hours for dinner. We arrived around 5:20pm on a Saturday, and there were a few names on their waitlist board already. The wait wasn't bad , prob around 15-20min for us. I think some ppl just left their names and decided not to wait anymore. Onto the food, I had the Oh Baby Box and hubby got their omakase. We also ordered a hamachi truffle appetizer, which is good but nothing crazy good. Both entrees come with salad and miso soup. I'm typically not a salad person, but OMG let me tell you! Their salad dressing is the bomb! Try it and thank me later. I liked most of the things on my Oh Baby Box, the crab meat was kinda dry. Hubby liked everything in the Omakase box. Serving size was huge, we both were so full when we left. Overall, a very good place with solid sushi. I'll be back for sure read more

We went on a Saturday around 11am and were seated right away with no line! By the time we left around noon, a few parties were waiting outside. I got the Oh Baby Box, which was a very generous portion and definitely enough to share between two people. It came with uni, hokkaido scallop, seared salmon toro, crab meat, and ikura over sushi rice, with a side of seaweed to make your own handrolls. I would say it's pretty good value and quite fresh especially for the price! My friend had the lion king and mango unagi rolls, both of which were generously sized and delicious. Service was friendly, and there's street parking in front as well as ample parking in the large shopping complex. I'll definitely be back! read more
Got the deluxe chirashi & a dragon roll (take out). Dont think the sashimi is the best quality, but the value for the amount of food was worth it to me. Tiny Sushi - Oh Baby is a tiny, yet super good, sushi restaurant in Daly City. The entire restaurant only seats 11 people and 4 of those seats are at the sushi bar. We came close to closing, but they still sat us and allowed us to dine in after they've closed. We ordered quickly and once the food came, we had to pay right away and then the server took off for lunch. He gave us water and extra napkins before he left. The Deluxe Chirashi Bowl came with tuna belly, salmon belly, hamachi, walu, hawaiian amberjack, and small pieces of sea urchin, Hokkaido scallops, shrimp, fried shrimp head, salmon roe, Japanese egg omelette, seaweed salad, and cucumbers. It was so good. I especially liked the belly fishes. All of the fish taste fresh and delicious. The Oh Baby Box was also really good. It came with seared salmon toro, uni, Hokkaido scallops, uni, ikura, and plenty of real crab meat, all over a bed of rice. All of the rolls looked really good. We got the Oh Baby roll - ahi tuna topped with seared salmon ($20.95), 49ers roll - salmon ($19.95), Woodside roll - shrimp tempura topped with spicy tuna and tempura crunch ($19.95), and Snow White roll - spicy scallops ($22.95). The miso soup and salad were good. The house-made salad dressing was really good. There was no staff around when we were done eating, so I got up and got my own to go box. Came on a tuesday at 5pm sharp. We were doing dine in vs takeout so keep that in mind as i'm sure the takeout experience is a bit different. I'd you're certain about dining in there isn't much seating to be prepared to walk right in or potentially wait a while. Do not dine in with more than 3 people. I was recommended the deluxe chirashi bowl and i also wanted to try out the 10pc omakase set. I will say the chirashi bowl is quite large but contains high quality fish and the rice was wonderfully seasoned. If you can't eat as much i'd go for the omakase set at a similar price range. it is still quite filling and has a good selection. Overall the fish is on the creamier/fattier side so if that's not your thing you might not enjoy this. Overall it's a great hole in the wall spot with people who care about their craft. read more

Where is the outdoor seating? I've never seen that.? *** hey tiny sushi your place is popping up on lists of restaurants with outdoor seating. You need to fix that.
Unfortunately, the only outdoor seating would be in your car.
