First and foremost, I really want to commend Tipsy Pig's management for delivering exemplary customer service. I was offered an opportunity to try their brisket again, and I'm glad I did. It was tender and absolutely delicious. Based on the meal and their efforts for customer satisfaction, I will definitely return.

I ordered the rib plate with baked beans and potato salad for $19.06. The dinner had 5 bones, the baked beans, potato salad and the sauce were very good. The ribs were good too but they were cold. I had to put them in the microwave to warm them up. The restaurant is inside a gas station. Even though the food was good I think $19.06 is kind of expensive for gas station food. I only gave them 3 stars because of the cold food, no eating utensils, and the price for gas station food. I couldn't find an up to date menu online so I am including a picture of the menu that I picked up while I was there.

This place is located inside the gas station. I've tried their brisket platter. It comes with brisket, two sides and two slices of bread. Brisket was good and tasty with sweet heat sauces. Sides (potato salad and coleslaw) were okay. Potato salad was good but icy. Coleslaw was boring. I've had better. The bread were cold- should be toasted. Overall it was good.

What's not to love about one-stop shopping? Fill up your gas tank, grab a lotto ticket and get in on some solid bbq. Tipsy Pig is located inside of a Shell gas station and offers a handful of tables for dining in. You order at the bbq counter, bring your ticket to the gas station clerk to pay and then return to the bbq guys with your receipt. I placed a takeout order for a brisket plate with two sides (collard greens and potato salad). I was also given a sample of the brisket end, which is my favorite part. The food was satisfying, although I was given blackberry cobbler instead of collards. Some would say I won in that instance, and I wouldn't disagree. Just a suggestion to check your order if you're committed to getting something green on your plate that day! An overall positive experience with a warm welcome from the staff.

2 meat with two sides meal

I ordered my meal from the Tipsy Pig via UberEats. I ordered the two meats with two sides meal which comes with two slices of bread, not Texas toast. I also ordered Brunswick stew and Blackberry cobbler. The ribs were very tender, just tasted baked, no smokiness. The collard greens were ok, the mac n cheese needs some work. It needed more cheese, more salt, and needed to be baked. The Brunswick stew was watery and just tasted like they soaked it in chicken broth. I am going to try to salvage it by adding tomato sauce. On UberEats, the Blackberry cobbler was $8 for a bowl. They sent it in a tiny container which would only be worth half that price if not less. The worse part after the price is that it doesn't taste good at all. I really wish I could get a full refund on that out of everything. I feel robbed with it and the Brunswick stew. The total came out to over $40 without the added fees and tip. I won't be ordering again. I am on a journey for really good barbecue and unfortunately this place doesn't make the cut.

My first time trying their food and the sweet heat bbq sauce stole the show. It was my favorite part of this meal. The ribs were good and the sides tasted normal. The collard greens weren't tasty to me. They tasted like sink water but the sauce made it better. The plate has a great presentation and I'd order the ribs with sauce again

I've been here a few times and it is pretty good for a gas station joint. The people are nice and the portions are decent.

The food was good, and the Chicken Parmesan wings were definitely worth trying. I also had one of their house lemonades, and that was a highlight of the meal. The only thing I'd change next time is the Philly. It came with a lot of vegetables--more than I personally prefer. It almost felt like I was eating a veggie Philly instead of a chicken Philly. That's just my preference though. Next time, I'll probably ask for fewer vegetables. They don't make their own ranch; it comes in the packaged cups. It's not my favorite brand, but at least they had ranch available. The restaurant has plenty of seating if you want to dine in, TVs playing in the background, and a nice atmosphere. They had a good mix of old-school '90s R&B along with some current R&B, which made the experience even better. The customer service was good from the time i walked in until I left. I'd say order your food before you get there to eliminate the time just sitting there. Overall, I'd definitely come back and try some of the other items on the menu. If you're in the area and looking for some good wings and a relaxed place to enjoy your meal, I'd recommend giving this spot a try.

I came in on a weekday evening and we were the only people in the establishment. It still took about 30 minutes for our order to come out. Granted, there were a few online delivery orders in between. This place has a wiiiiide selection of flavors! And you can mix flavors too. The worker taking my order was very patient with me as I took a while to choose, and she gave some recommendations catered to my preferences. The sauce on my wings was good but the wings themselves were subpar-- tiny, no meat, dry. I ordered 5 pieces but it came with 7, probably because they're tiny. I did really enjoy my collard greens tho.

It was a nice day after the storm passed from the other day so we decided to sit outside to enjoy our dinner. That is how much trust I had in them. I ordered takeout from the Lawrenceville location and was a little more than halfway through my potato salad when my spoon hit something it wouldn't go through. I pulled it out thinking it was a dark piece of food, only to realize it appeared to be a tightly rolled/twisted piece of a black disposable food-service glove embedded in my potato salad. I had already eaten more than half of it. I immediately called the restaurant and spoke with the manager on duty, who told me their food is made fresh and gloves are changed frequently and said, "If I was making the potato salad, that wouldn't be in there. That wouldn't happen." I was told a district manager would contact me. Nobody did. After more than 24 hours with no call, no follow-up, and not even a refund, I called the restaurant again myself. The second manager I spoke with was genuinely disturbed by what happened and couldn't believe nobody had contacted me or refunded my order. He told me he would personally reach out to management, and I still heard nothing. At that point, I reported the incident to Environmental Health, who told me they would be following up with the restaurant and conducting an inspection. I'm not writing this because I enjoy hurting a local business. Quite the opposite. This was a restaurant my family supported for years and trusted with our wedding. But finding what appears to be part of a disposable glove embedded in food I had already mostly eaten is completely unacceptable, and the complete lack of response from management has made it worse. Mistakes happen, but a disposable glove does not belong in someone's potato salad, and when something this serious happens, the customer should not have to chase management just to get a response. I wasn't expecting anything extravagant. I expected a phone call, an apology, an explanation of how this happened, and some reassurance that it was being addressed. Instead, after years of supporting this restaurant, I couldn't even get a phone call or a refund. That's unacceptable. UPDATE: The owner, Brad, called me regarding this complaint. During our conversation, I told him that after finding a piece of glove in my food, I expected a refund for my meal because, frankly, I feel that is the least the restaurant could do. His response was, "So that's just what you want, money? You're just looking for money." He also questioned whether the material could have come from their restaurant. To be clear, I am not "looking for money." I am asking to be refunded for a meal that had a foreign object in it. I contacted the restaurant first and waited two days for someone to address this before contacting the health department. This restaurant catered my wedding, so I did not make this complaint lightly. I expected the situation to be taken seriously, an apology, and a refund for the meal. Instead, I was made to feel as though I was being accused of having some financial motive for reporting what I found. Customers deserve to know how a legitimate food-safety complaint was handled.
