First and foremost, I really want to commend Tipsy Pig's management for delivering exemplary customer service. I was offered an opportunity to try their brisket again, and I'm glad I did. It was tender and absolutely delicious. Based on the meal and their efforts for customer satisfaction, I will definitely return.

I ordered the rib plate with baked beans and potato salad for $19.06. The dinner had 5 bones, the baked beans, potato salad and the sauce were very good. The ribs were good too but they were cold. I had to put them in the microwave to warm them up. The restaurant is inside a gas station. Even though the food was good I think $19.06 is kind of expensive for gas station food. I only gave them 3 stars because of the cold food, no eating utensils, and the price for gas station food. I couldn't find an up to date menu online so I am including a picture of the menu that I picked up while I was there.

This place is located inside the gas station. I've tried their brisket platter. It comes with brisket, two sides and two slices of bread. Brisket was good and tasty with sweet heat sauces. Sides (potato salad and coleslaw) were okay. Potato salad was good but icy. Coleslaw was boring. I've had better. The bread were cold- should be toasted. Overall it was good.

What's not to love about one-stop shopping? Fill up your gas tank, grab a lotto ticket and get in on some solid bbq. Tipsy Pig is located inside of a Shell gas station and offers a handful of tables for dining in. You order at the bbq counter, bring your ticket to the gas station clerk to pay and then return to the bbq guys with your receipt. I placed a takeout order for a brisket plate with two sides (collard greens and potato salad). I was also given a sample of the brisket end, which is my favorite part. The food was satisfying, although I was given blackberry cobbler instead of collards. Some would say I won in that instance, and I wouldn't disagree. Just a suggestion to check your order if you're committed to getting something green on your plate that day! An overall positive experience with a warm welcome from the staff.

2 meat with two sides meal

I ordered my meal from the Tipsy Pig via UberEats. I ordered the two meats with two sides meal which comes with two slices of bread, not Texas toast. I also ordered Brunswick stew and Blackberry cobbler. The ribs were very tender, just tasted baked, no smokiness. The collard greens were ok, the mac n cheese needs some work. It needed more cheese, more salt, and needed to be baked. The Brunswick stew was watery and just tasted like they soaked it in chicken broth. I am going to try to salvage it by adding tomato sauce. On UberEats, the Blackberry cobbler was $8 for a bowl. They sent it in a tiny container which would only be worth half that price if not less. The worse part after the price is that it doesn't taste good at all. I really wish I could get a full refund on that out of everything. I feel robbed with it and the Brunswick stew. The total came out to over $40 without the added fees and tip. I won't be ordering again. I am on a journey for really good barbecue and unfortunately this place doesn't make the cut.

My first time trying their food and the sweet heat bbq sauce stole the show. It was my favorite part of this meal. The ribs were good and the sides tasted normal. The collard greens weren't tasty to me. They tasted like sink water but the sauce made it better. The plate has a great presentation and I'd order the ribs with sauce again

Love this place, even though it's in a gas station convenience store. The redneck Cuban is my personal favorite! Highly recommend!

I ordered the red neck cuban sandwich. It was pretty good for the moment. I will say that the mac and cheese was nothing to brag about.

It's good. It's different. In a gas station. You order at the restaurant but paid where you buy gas. But the food is good.

Me and a few friends tried it and when I tell you this place is NOT what I thought, but in a good way! First off, our waiter Ted was fantastic. All of us were first timer so he broke everything down, gave us a few faces by patrons and his personal faves. He was patient with us and gave us the best customer service. The restaurant itself is very unique. I love they had a small seating area with a small stage close, there's a private dining area, a bar and table and booth seating. It's not a huge space but it is big enough to be comfortable and cozy. Wasn't loud and even when the artist came up to play music, it wasn't too loud it still blended well with the restaurant noise. Ted emphasized that everything in here is made from scratch except a few things. For starters we had fried okra and a colossal shrimp cocktail. They both were great starters. I had a whiskey sour as well which was really good. I had a hard time choosing but I wound up getting the prime rib sandwich with mashed potatoes, my sis did prime rib as well but with oxtail collard greens and my other sis had the surf and turf special. Everything was so good! It's a good portion of food. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals and the conversation. Downtown Stone Mountain has a hidden gem here, I'm already planning my trip back!

The owner has some other restaurants downtown Decature as well The "Cherokee Rose", very nice ambient atmosphere good looking restaurant. However it appears to be Family run with close friends and their kids. The Staff is not very attentive, one bartender so long waits or missed over waiting to place a drink and food order No one's really educated on the menu when asked a question about the food items. They just slide a menu in front of you as a gesture - you read it if you want to know. I can't see the small print on these menus to save my life lol I invited a industry colleague for a business dinner Ok, food review they offer an oxtail protein in the collard greens "Yummy" however I didn't find oxtail in the collard greens anywhere. My guest ordered some cwing dinner that looked like a contraption. As far as the presentation was delivered. I decided on a liquid diet after seeing the food delivery Next week I personally stopped in-for lunch wanted to give this place a chance to rebound and my full attention on a fair review. I wanted to also make sure management was there. An older caucasian woman greets me well we have a cordial conversation about my previous experience and my embarrassment at such a nice looking restaurant She was unable to believe this happened at her restaurant. Just plain disbelief and raved about the kitchen and pride that goes into her food to later having to eat those words Again, limited menu what is up with the 4-5 items to chose from. I donot eat steak fries So I just ordered the burger - medium well - not burned and it had no venison mixed or blended meat added The burger came out with old brown tarnished lettuce I sent it back for fresh lettuce . She brought it back they added thousand island dressing when I specially asked for mayo on the side which was also provided. What is going on in the kitchen I took a bittersweet bite anyways and spat it out. Took my utensils which looks like a switch blade in a fairly nice restaurant. bad esthetics decisions I knifed out The center of the uncooked raw meat of the burger and waited patiently for the nice lady to find her way back over to me I offered to just pay and leave. She ask what was the problem . I uncovered the burger and allowed her to witness fir herself Her face turned beet red and quickly said no charge and stormed off to her kitchen where I am sure like "The Oak" there was a Waffle House griller reject acting as a chef " Pictures attached : I can't make my Experiences UP! #SMH you just can't get what you pay for anywhere these days Me being a restaurant consultants. I've contacted a few franchises and alerted them to a decent food market thst can use some great affordable food options Let me help "Stone Mountain Village Grow"

Also, all the meats we had were really great--they were all flavorful, tender, and beautifully marbled. Broths (we had spicy miso and mala) were also very flavorful, more so than most shabu/hot pot places I've had in Georgia. The thing that drives it all home though is the service. You have excellent servers who are considerate and know when to step away and give you some time, or when to come in and ask if you needed anything else. Our server was friendly, empathetic, and an absolute star. Also, the runners and bussers come in quickly and silently when attending to your table, yet are friendly when responding, well versed on the menu offerings, and quick to take action with anything you needed.
